Very disappointed in the food my mother and I ordered we have been wanting to try this place for a while so we went and drove from watt and el Camino at the time. So we ordered 2 mushroom cheese steaks bread tasted like it was microwaved not fresh at all sandwich was so soggy it was falling apart meat had no flavor or seasoning and like it wasnt really cooked well thought there would of been more cheese barely seen any or could taste it after all it is a CHEESE steak sandwich, zucchini sticks were hard no flavor as well fries had no salt or seasoning at all. Spent $38 to be disappointed. Food is overpriced at that and was disgusting in general didnt even finish it threw it away. Will definitely not be back here! def do not recommend do not waste your money

I been here 3 or 4 times it was great. I went super bowl Sunday I was very disappointed. I asked for extra meat. I paid for it. I got no extra they chopped the meat up so small like for a street taco. I had more bread than steak. For 16.00 it should be better than that. I want a steak sandwich not a taco. Ordered thru Grubhub. Everything was either totally cold or Luke warm. I live 1 mile from location. They gave me absolutely NO dipping sauces or even ketchup. Got cold mozzarella sticks without si much as a little cup ranch for them. Garlic fries were soggy and surprisingly bland. Even the sandwich was cold with random pockets of grease, which was weird. I dont know whether to be upset with the restaurant or Grubhub. Obviously, the lack of care to the food and sauces is the restaurant but the temperature could be either. I checked other reviews, after of course, and Im not the 1st to get cold food from here. I usually get hot food from Grubhub. Either way was a waste of money because it tasted terrible.

Ordered the larger sandwich and instead of stacking the both cut pieces side by side they stuffed sandwich inside not cut completely curved like the letter U. Unwrapping it was horrible. Steak fell everywhere and grease was soaking from like a drenched towel. Oh, I also had a stomach ache for 3 days and was going to the bathroom non stop. Worst experience I ever had with food in a long time. I dont know if they keep their area sanitary or keep their food out too long which caused the feeling sick after eating it. Will never ever go back and never suggest this place to anyone ! I would rank.lower than a 1 star if I could.

Meat has alot of grizzle. I didnt state that I wanted onions but I also didnt state to not put onions so im not gonna call and complain or ask for my money back im just gonna suggest if you dont like onions make sure you say no onions. Thr bread is soft and good and the meat is flavorful. The filled my sandwich with meat well. no cheese really. Wont be trying again

Before I review, know I am from Chicago and I know good food. If you like Charlies subs, you like overpaying for a tiny, dry sandwich. Anyway, I went to cheese steak restaurant and I wanted more than just a few toppings. I had a wonderful pepperoni, steak, mushroom, pepper, provolone, marinara sandwich.The man behind the counter made sure there was nothing I am allergic to in my order. Most places dont like special orders, but in this case, I was charged just for the pepperoni. This place is completely underrated. The line wasnt long, the staff were polite, the bathroom is very clean. I sort of like complaining; I have nothing on cheese steak restaurant.

I got the biggest one and it was delicious!! Staffs super chill and friendly. I loved that even through covid-19 they were taking precautions and keeping social distancing mesures. I would recommend a plastic to shield them across their counter just having an opening where they deliver food, and take orders.

Used a ZBest coupon for a bogo to try out the food. Was pleasantly surprised! Bought a 10 King Philly and a 10 Spinach + a 10 Pizza + garlic fries + onion rings. The sandwiches--juicy and very yummy! The bread is light and puffy and soaks up the meat juices but the meats were sooo juicy that itd drip down your hand.

Ordered a cheesteak sandwich. Mandatory take out. When I opened the sandwich it was dripping with water and juices. The bread was so soggy I couldnt eat it. It made me nauseous. It smelled great and the onion rings were fine. Service was fine, location was clean but I couldnt eat the sandwich.

First few times sandwich was perfect! The more I’ve come the less good the sandwich have been. Last time I’ve come my fries seem like they was fried in salt with salt sprinkled when done cooking. This time I’ve come it’s a ton of meat grease dripped all over my clothes, bun was hard and fries tasted like cardboard all these issues for $20 for fries and a sandwich 👎🏽! I don’t know what’s going on with this place but ima have to pass next time!!!

Best cheese steak in Sacramento and possibly Northern California when outside of Pennsylvania. 15 inch stuffed mushroom cheese plenty of steak and whatever you like. I put lettuce and tomatoes bell peppers olives and onions

By far the best cheesesteak in Northern California. Best Ive had outside of Philadelphia. Theyre always friendly when we go in, wait time is never bad. And when I get it delivered, its so hot I have to wait before stuffing my face lol.The onion rings are great and so are the fried mushrooms. I drive 35 minuets to get there, its worth every second 😎👍

My girlfriend and I went to this Philly cheese steak place last week and again tonight. It was awesome both times. We ordered the Classic Philly, King of Philly style (double meat and double cheese). For our sides, the first time we got curly fries (really good - the large was very large) and this time we got garlic fries (also really good - lots of garlic). Our sandwiches were excellent both times. The staff was cool both times. The location is great, right off Hwy 99. We will be back.

I ordered a medium classic chicken cheese steak sandwich with garlic fries and waffle fries. There was so much garlic on my fries which is how I like them. Everything was great! I will definitely be coming back again when I am in the area. Also the service was friendly.

The garlic fries were very undercooked, soggy, and lacking flavor. We asked for the cheesesteak *hoagie style* and there was nothing on it besides the meat and cheese. The sandwich itself was just okay, but not enough filling and definitely not worth the price.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cheese steak sandwiches here. Meat, peppers, and onion filling was really flavorful. My wife got the cheese steak with spinach and mushrooms and really liked that as well. We got a large waffle fries to split; they were also really good, but the portion size for a large waffle fries seemed a little small. Additionally, I saw guys at another table with fries covered in cheese steak filling which looked fantastic. Ill be back for that. Lastly, they also have burgers, corn dogs, and some other sandwich options if you dont want a cheese steak.

Wanted to order two sandwiches and zucchini sticks by the time that I got done paying the $5.99 delivery charge which I have no problem with they were trying to charge me two different tips so I was going to pay for the 2 sandwiches and Zucchini sticks, the delivery charge and two different tips set for three things they were going to charge me $88 and change. They are out of their freaking mind

I think this is the best cheese steak I have had! If you dont like hot peppers make sure you ask for the sweet peppers. Believe me the hot peppers have a good kick. Either way the sandwich is fantastic no matter what way you have them make it. They do everything fresh and your not waiting forever like other places. Give this place a try!

Tuesday March 24, 2020 I had ordered take out from this place and I got food posing from the food being “contaminated”. When I talked to the manager he did not seem to have a care in the world. That’s very unprofessional and that is a health issue. I advise folks not to eat there at this time. I will NEVER EVER eat there again

Ordered classic cheese steak and it was more like a hot pepper sub with nearly no meat and cheese, a order of onion rings with a count of 4, yes 4 soggy onion rings. I still ate it all, and for a $12 meal I was still hungry. 2 stars was generous compared to my meal.

The place was dirty and the employees were expressionless and rude. Support other local businesses that appreciate your business.

I dont even want to give 1 star but food was ok. Service is ridiculous. They are rude. They fill other orders before yours, even when they say they are working on yours. When asked why it was taken so long was told they have a lot of orders. Will never go there again!

Found. this little place, just by chance and it turned out to be a big gem. We thought that we were going to an Arbys at a location nearby, but it was a really new restaurant (as of 5/13/19) and not yet open for business. We looked around, saw the sign and walked in for a try-out. Long story short... It was Excellent! Wife had a Philly cheese steak and I had a Pastrami Burger. Good enough to go back again when we get back that way in my old home town of Elk Grove, Calif. Try it... Youll like it !!!🎼🎸

The food was great! Exactly what we expected. Worth every fattening bite. Sure the facility could be cleaner but the product was delicious. Both classics with onions and pepper hot & sweet. Frys were cooked perfectly too. I could tell the oil had been recently and/or regularly changed. Next time Im in the area I will plan on stopping back in for a cheesesteak!

You absolutely should not come here. They already give you very little meat on the sandwich, then I order extra meat and cheese and it still doesnt flow to the top of the bun. I paid $19 and lip service today!

It was ok, a little salty but ok. Being from Philly I know the difference and on a scale of 1 to 10 um maybe a 6. Small portions for price but you can make it work. Be nice to offer more condiments like ketchup, mustard, relish or pickles. Overall if your just looking for something different itll do the trick. Keep working at it your almost there!!!

Very good Cheesesteaks! I always go with the mushroom steak with just cheese and mayo. My son usually gets everything (onions and hot peppers) and some twister fries. If you join their frequency club, the deals they send you will surely make you come back often!

I’ve tried different philly cheesesteaks from different places around the area and no one ever comes close to this one. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Although, I’ve never tried that one In Philadelphia. I wouldn’t even compared. Of course, nothing beats the original but this cheesesteak place will make you come back for more. It’s really addicting. Next time you visit Sacramento, make sure to stop by at this place. You won’t regret it!
