I love dealing with the people that work here. I have bought items here and dropped off various items for service and have always been taken care of. Shane and Santiago both helped me during the drop off of my riding mower last week and Santiago saw me, remembered my name and went out of his way to say hi while Shane was getting me written up!!

I could not find the Honda generator that I was looking for locally in Woodland. Saw online that they had them in Elk Grove. Since it is a fairly long drive, I called ahead to make sure. They had several of the 2200 model I was looking for and after a quick sale, I was back on the road home. Probably won’t use them for service, only because we have a dealership in Woodland, but would if I needed to.

I called ahead to get get blades for my old Yard-Man riding mower. It only took a few minutes to find out they had them for a very reasonable price. They set my blades aside so I just had to go get and pay! No waiting in a long line to get into the store or wait to get what I wanted! Awesome people and service!

This place had everything! Chain saws, mulchers, weed wackers, lawnmowers, blowers, tractors, garden hand tools, pressure washers, generators, edgers!! Man even a cute little guard 🐕!

Oh my GOSH My old Honda push lawn mower purrs like BRAND NEW!! I have had it to other shops in past. This is the first time i feel like it has been truly been repaired like new.. BIG ROUND of THANK YOUS to the MACHINE SHOP repair men in the ELK GROVE POWER EQUIPMENT and i will come again and i live in RANCHO.... WORTH THE DRIVE and ever so reasonable priced very fair....in these times.

I give 5 stars 4 their customer skills . 1 star 4 their prices. ( Although anyone in the power equipment line of business knows, its not their prices its toros, or any other power equipment branch thats at fault 4 that)

Didnt have whatbibwas looking for but nice little store friendly staff

They try hard to service your small engine tools. They have been working on my lawn tools for a few years and when I had a business doing remodels the did tune ups for me on those tools also. The prices for labor is fair. The rebuilds are good. Only thing is I wish they had a larger store so that they would have parts in stock. Their turn around time is pretty slow.

Put money down on a used lawn mower, came back a couple weeks later to pay the remainder which was agreed on. Upon paying the remainder, Rick became very unprofessional, dishonest, told me there was a broken part and refused to sell to me and even pay to get fixed out the blue, yelled and threw my money on the counter and stormed off. Threw me for a shock. Would strongly not recommend.

This is the best place I have been to; it has great deals and best customer service, the staff here really knows what they are doing. I have been here multiple times, and will keep coming back as they always treat their customers excellent. A loyal customer here for life.

Took my DR stump grinder for warranty service as requested by DR, The stump grinder would not start, they had it more than a week, told me the jets in the carburetor were frozen, could not remove them according to their mechanic, wanted $250.00 to replace the carburetor . I contacted D and R, they sent me a new carburetor for zero dollars, put in on and it runs perfect. What really bothers me is no one ever took the carburetor off an no signs of any one trying to remove the jets! I’m a 30 year retired marine mechanic, I called the shop, mechanic not in, asked for the owner, he too was not in, requested the counter sales person to have one of them call, never heard from them. One star for not being truthful!

So far so good. Went in on a Friday, June 3 about 3pm had to wait a bit as the employee was busy with couple customers which was great as it gave me time to look at the various residential mowers and listen to how treated & helped other customers.He did very well. He was helping two elderly couples in their 70s and took his time.Bravo.When he finally got around to me the gent was helpful answering the difference between Toro & Honda.Bought what I needed and left with all my questions answered.

Went there to support local business. I have a Remington (American Company) walk behind trimmer. They would not look at it for me because they are not a Remington distributor. They said they cannot get parts because they are not a distributor. I can get the parts online. I have the parts list for it.

Took my lawnmower in for some service. Waited almost a week to hear back from them. Was given a list of things that needed to be done to it, also told my air filter, oil and sparkplug were also included in the extreme service that was needed according to there findings, although i had just changed those myself. Basically told the amount of service cost was more than my lawnmower was worth. They also offered to keep my lawnmower, how about that! I took it to another place and had it serviced for $65. My lawnmower isnt even 4 years old. All women be ware. Very disappointing! Advise you to find old garage like place where they are honest and trustworthy and very professional!

I took my mower with me to get the blade sharpened. I was immediately advised I could save at least $70 if I took the blade off myself. They gave me the wrench. I went to pay for the sharpening and a young worker noticed I could get a brand new blade for the same.price. About $13. Awesome customer service.

Its kinda a wierd drive to get there but worth it. Like, if youre thinking of going just go ahead and do it haha. This place was great and we got our 2200 generators for like $400 less then the place down the road and the owner helped us setup and went through the breaking period.. Showed us where to replace filters.. Ect. Two thumbs up

I went to Elk Grove Power to purchase a new mower. I didnt want a cheap homeowners mower like I could get at Home Depot or Orchard as I have two acres to care for. The guys there really know what they are talking about and gave me a great machine for a competitive price (I know from my past work in sales how much these types of items sell to businesses for). I will definitely return here for all my equipment needs. Having employees that really understand the products they sell puts this shop at the top in my book (no offence to the HD and OSH employees).

Bought a mower belt from them they asked alot of questions about the model number said they did not have one then called me back 3 min later said they have one I picked it up put it on it seemed tight but I believed them started my mower it blew my deck up be careful make sure you know the part you need do not trust them

The time I went there for service was pretty good and would probably get 4 stars but I went there today looking to buy something expensive actually and they turned the riding mower on right next to my not quite two year old daughter which both scared her as well as made her hate the smell the exhaust and all the gas that is burning and I really could have done without that and I had to leave
