We came in on 3/20 to purchase items for our bathroom remodel. We were a little stressed because we were on a time crunch with kids at home with the babysitter, our 7 month old with us, a tight budget to follow and a huge list from a tub to flooring to paint and everything in between. Thank goodness for your employees. Especially Marv! The other gentlemen, I cant remember his name, mentioned Marv is in his 80s and he never stopped helping us including helping to lift a tub onto a cart despite us saying he didnt have to. He was amazingly kind and fun. The cashier Zachary was also great and helped us get through the checkout quickly with a LOT of items as our baby was getting fussy and he was very friendly. Overall a fantastic experience. Love going here. Its the only building and hardware store we will go to now. The building is clean with respectful and fun employees who know their stuff. We missed the deadline for the survey as we got so involved in our project so hopefully this makes its way to management because you have a fantastic set of people working with you.
I spent thousands of dollars on a remodel of a space I was moving into after selling my house. The carpet installers cancelled the day before they were supposed to install and pushed my move in date out a week and screwed us over for move in. I get that it is a contractor that home Depot just uses for installation. But still, this is the contractor they have selected for install of their carpet products. I called and complained since they tried to reschedule out a month, which means we would have been homeless for several weeks. I called Patty, the flooring Manager at Elk River and she was polite, but basically said oh sorry about that, we have no control over them. And never bothered to even try to make the situation right. I also called another manager at the ER store and he too basically just said thats too bad, thanks for letting me know about this. Horrible customer service. Im super surprised by this. And like I said, I had just spent $10k on stuff there, not including the carpet. Not sure I will go back to HD anymore. Thoroughly let down by this whole event. I expected more from Home Depot.
Usually come here for house plants because they are usually pretty good priced. Came today to pick up a neon pothos and maybe a few others. They had scratched out the old prices with sharpie and put new prices that are all about $5 more then they used to be. Not sure why but seriously sketchy. Even the ones on sale are more than the original price.

This store canceled my order after scheduling my delivery!I ordered 4’x8’ OSB plywood on a Wednesday or Thursday requesting a delivery for the following Tuesday. On Monday dispatch called and arranged the delivery time with my wife.Monday evening I received via email a notice of order cancellation. Since I ordered online I immediately called in to the 800 number and they in turn connected me to Doug the manager of the Elk River Store. Doug first said he has not seen any previous order history for me with his store and since I was not buying any other materials he would not sell me the plywood. He also claimed they over sold their stock. I requested to be on back order and Doug denied that request as well. The store showed way more than adequate stock when I ordered online.Home Depot should notify clients earlier of any issues they have with fulfillment of an order so a person can make other arrangements. If I ordered over 58 sheets I was supposed to receive pro pricing. There was no mention of rules stating I need to order more than the plywood. In fact the two orders processed flawlessly and even the scheduling for delivery was executed.If you want to be a trusted partner to trades professionals you may need to figure out what the rules are and inform your clients prior to committing to orders.
Wouldnt try to shop lift here. They have one of the best lost prevention teams around.
What a cluster. Ordered flooring. Delivery was cancelled 3 times. I called each evening of the expected delivery....Oh Im sorry. The flooring we chose and were NOT TOLD was that it was DIY flooring (vinyl plank grip strip)...which we found out from the install company THE DAY OF INSTALL they had discontinued installing in JANUARY of this year due to customer complaints. NEVER AGAIN Home Depot. Back to square one AGAIN.stopped had discontinued
Nice customer service but recommended wrong part. I brought in what I needed replaced and told him they looked different, but he reassured me it would work. It didnt. Wasted money
This review is for Tina... Tina has very exceptional customer service. She was so nice and understanding, and has so much patience. I was trying to get a moving truck through Penske, and there was a few hiccups. But Tina was there to help us through this process with much understanding. She was able to get us exactly what we needed and we are forever greatful for her. We wish there were more people like her in the world specifically with the job she has because we know customer service is not the easiest job when dealing with more then one complication. THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH!!!

I had a very good experience with Connie in cab it’s was great. Customer service on the phone was horrible. She said I did not even have an order because she was unable to find my phone number. Had to talk to a manager because of her rudeness. When people are rude apparently they do not realize they are in customer services. With that said. Connie Snare-was awesome .
Purchased an item not sold in stores to have it shipped home. FedEx lost the package and Home Depot wouldnt step up to fix the problem. Im out $600Never again. Nope. No thanks

As a delivery person, I will not tolerate rude employees. The lady in shipping/receiving is the rudest employee Ive ever met! Nothing but angry and bitter the entire time Im unloading stuff and then she starts telling me Im not good enough and need to deliver earlier. Sorry lady thats not how delivery works. Managers need to teach her how to speak to others. Every driver in my company knows this lady as the rude Home Depot lady

My preferred hardware store of choice. The staff are helpful and they have fair price on appliances. They have good warranties the devices; offer delivery and installation and have 0% interest for their department credit card for some purchases. I bought my wash machine, dryer, fridge, central air unit and range microwave from here and will probably replace my dishwasher too.

Just purchased a DeWalt table saw. Saved $80 with a price match. Manager at the register was very helpful and didn’t question the savings after I showed her the website of a competitor. This is why Home Depot is my favorite store!
They dont always have the exact thing Im looking for. They do have nice knowledgeable helpful employees. Since its a bit further away I usually go elsewhere but when Im in the area I try to remember if I need something so I can stop. I like the hardware/fastener aisle especially. Easy to find what I need and quanties.

Home depot wouldnt let me return a pail of plaster and exchange 2 sink strainer/plugs because I misplaced my license during covid and cannot get a new one due to many changes. I didnt want cash, I was going to spend more than I was returning and none of that worked for them. I gave them my phone # so they could look me up in their system and they found me but that didnt suffice either. I didnt know you had to have a drivers license to return things. What if you dont drive?
The people that work there are great! There is some lack of stocking in some areas.
I would advise you to have someone fix your self service propane exchange.

No one knows anything. They post promotions online that the employees dont know anything about. You practically have to beg someone to help you or find someone who can help you. Pretty clear most of the team members are there collecting a check doing the bare minimum. Ill skip Home Depot from now on.

Elk River Home Depot has limited supply of many items. I do not believe this is a corporate store due the lack of stocked items. Ive had problems getting quality wood at this location

Not what it used to be home Depot buys in giant bulks to spread out through all all 50 States yet they dont give you good this count on tools, greety on fame you pay for the name

I will start off by saying I own and operate a plumbing company. We operate 24/7 for emergency service. I went to the Elk River Home Depot Saturday the 18th of April 2020. There was a line 20 long of homeowners waiting to enter the store. As I am business I started to enter through the business line. I was very rudely instructed to get in line by the head counter. I pointed to my work shirt and said I am a business. She replied even more rudely “not today you’re not”.I’m confused. Is this not the sole purpose of the “business” line, for essential businesses to gain access to their material faster. Good thing there is a Menards right down the road.
