Denise was helpful, attentive, gave feedback, had to work with a wife / husband tag team and she did great. Steve, one of the owners, was attentive too. Place is awesome lots of selections. We bought 6 seat dining table with chairs, a love seat, a recliner, and ordered a couch (couch 12+ weeks delivery) in one day. Now we wait for the delivery, like two little puppies looking through the front window for the delivery truck.

The products were fine, but watch out for what salesperson you get.We just went and bought a bed there, and the salesman was all about his prior military service, and Jesus. Which is great, mind you, and hey, both my wife and I are vets, but I really want to know my options for beds, not be told repeatedly about Jesus, and have my wife ignored. She is just as much of a vet too. I really wanted to know more about the warranties, not talk about painful memories. From one disabled vet to another, please lay off. I didnt want to make a deal about it right there with my family, and ruin the evening.The man was adamant about us writing a review, so here it is.

My wife and I had been to many many furniture stores. This store was the first in our search for bar stools and a sectional sofa. We were immediately welcomed by Denise. Who was very nice and NOT pushy or annoying in the typical way. We found our bar stools right away and purchased them. We also found a couch we liked but still wanted to shop around to see what was out there. We visited 5 other furniture stores that day. Some had very overpriced sofas and at some stores we were never greeted even though walking the entire store.. Ultimately we ended up back at Furniture and things for the sofa we purchased. It was delivered by two very friendly gentlemen in the time that we scheduled. Overall we were very very pleased and will certainly be back in the future.

We worked with MO. She did a fantastic job on holding the item for us. We drove from Chicago to Minnesota (6 hours) and were not disappointed. Great selection at the stores.

Custom made orders take forever (e.g. applying different upholstery). Please allow 6-10 months for delivery and you need to keep calling. Still waiting for the rest of my order to arrive and the order was made in August. They never made contact back after making the order and it is on you to initiate giving the feeling of now that we have the money it doesnt matter.

Pricey but they have a large showroom filled with great things. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Always worth a look if youre shopping around

My husband and I visited this showroom a month or two ago to pick out some furniture for our basement. It was my first time in the store and I was impressed by the huge variety of furniture there - you could spend a full day browsing around and picking out your favorite pieces for every room! We worked with Phil who helped us narrow it down to a few key pieces and ultimately make our final decision. Phil was friendly, informative, and helped us pick out what is now our favorite piece of furniture on the house! We were even impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the delivery team who came to bring the furniture in and set up the sectional for us. My parents and I stopped in just to take a look at their selection of sofas/sectionals. When we walked in it was a bit over whelming due to there being 4 acres of building space, but that feeling soon subsided. They have scooters, wheel chairs and other modes of transportation to assist those who can not walk long distances. I was extremely pleased by this since my mother has lung cancer and would have not been able to check out their selection otherwise.Phil soon greeted us and asked what we were in for. He directed us to the area we wanted to look and let us be. It was a breath of fresh air to not have someone pushing you to look at everything they have and or not want. We wondered around testing different couches and found the one. Phil shortly after came to check on us and provided all the specs and figured out pricing.Our sales rep Phil was kind and upbeat. He was an absolute pleasure to speak/work with and got us the best deals possible.We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and look forward to working with this company again.

Love this place! Quality furniture that has affordable options if youre up for hunting for bargains! The staff is super friendly, but knows when to back off and let you shop on your own. We bought a bar from here a year ago, and our saleswoman remembered us and asked us how it was treating us. It was pretty cool!

From walking into the store to saying goodbye to the guys who delivered our furniture, weve been 100% happy with our experience with Furniture and Things.We were greeted shortly after entering the store, but werent subject to any sort of helicoptering from the sales staff. Rebecca was the one to help us when we found a sofa set we really liked. She was so great! She helped us pick out our pieces from a custom line, find the fabrics we wanted, and made suggestions about what would go well together. I honestly cannot sing her praises enough! We will definitely be back for her assistance on our next big furniture project, and I would recommend her to anyone.The furniture took some time to arrive after we ordered it (nothing to be done about that given the supply shortages everyones experiencing as a result of covid), and Rebecca kept us updated throughout the waiting period. I thought that was extremely considerate of her. :)And today we received our new sofa set! We couldnt be happier. The delivery guys arrived during the time window we were given and were very conscious of wiping off their feet as they brought in each piece (I told them not to take their shoes off). They hooked everything up for us and explained how to do it as well in case we ever want to rearrange in the future.I highly recommend this local business and will definitely be patronizing them in the future! Great furniture store

After spending the weekend looking at furniture from different stores, I ended up happy with my decision here. Phil and Cindy were both great to work with, and not having commission-based compensation really made the experience better than every other place.I was interested in just a bed that was part of a set and they ended up selling me just the bed. It was a great deal.

No need to look at chain stores. These guys are the best! We had Amy help us start to finish. Two new recliners and ended up purchasing as couch as well. That was not in our plan we got such a good deal we couldnt pass it up!

My fiance and I recently got a coffee table and canvas print from here. They had plenty of options available for any decor. The service and furniture is hands down the best Ive had. None of that assemble it yourself with with missing parts and directions. All very high quality stuff. The staff is very friendly as well and they know their stuff!

Weve been shopping at the Elk River location recently and love it. Prior to this location we had always gone to the Coon Rapids location. Both places are awesome and the customer service is above and beyond. They have furniture and things that are different than the box stores. I would highly recommend a trip to either store as the service alone is outstanding.

They even took care to remove their shoes while entering and believe me this small gesture was quite a task for the fact that we ordered a very large sectional and an Amish made bedroom set that was extremely heavy. We purchased a Flexsteel recliner close to 3 years ago from Furniture and Things. We had heard nothing but good things about Flexsteel. By far the worst furniture purchase my wife and I have made in our 40+ years together. The recliner is very hard, perhaps we should have put more thought into a piece of furniture with the word steel in it. The material is horrible. It was starting to show signs of wear within the 1st year. To be fair, we have dogs and they do climb on this recliner however, we have an Ashley Furniture recliner that is a year older than the Flexsteel andshows almost no wear.

I love this place! The sales people are great. I highly suggest this place for any type of furniture and or accessories.

I have had the pleasure of working with Steve and his team of professionals for over 10 years. I can honestly say they have the customers best interest at all times. I have done upholstery repairs for them and I have never had them tell me to cut any corners with regards to fixing furniture. You will especially love working with Carla in the event you ever do need to contact customer service.

We bought a table and chairs in March and just had an issue with one of the chairs. They came all the way to our house (we don’t live in Elk River) and replaced the chair- no questions asked! Excellent customer service!

I Purchased a Kingsdown Cabernet mattress from Furniture & Things. I was sold on the life time warranty and the guaranteed satisfaction that this Kingsdown would provide. My wife and i have been entirely dissatisfied with the mattress and have tried getting Kingsdown to honor their false lifetime warranty and have contacted Furniture and Things for assistance.. and go figure.. Furniture and things dont care. They said it wasnt their problem. Well, since they cared enough to sell us the product, but dont care enough now that we own it, we will NEVER step foot back in their stores again. They have shown how little they care about their customer after they leave the store having spent thousands of dollars... all the consumer is to them is a $$$. nothing more. I will take my money elsewhere.
