Went up to do some elk hunting and had an unfortunate event with the front passenger side and a large rock. Basically destroying the tie rod. Called an auto shop we had used before and they couldnt fix it and so we called Joes. They welcomed us in when we got there with the tow truck. April is incredibly friendly knowledgeable and very helpful. You could tell how busy they were but fully understood we wanted to get back out on the road ASAP. They had a part that was going to take a few days and they drove out to Twin Falls brought it back a day early for us!!! They replaced both tie rods and the rack and pinion at a very reasonable price. They stayed in the shop extra late and had our truck back and we were off and back on the road just like new. The good people at Joes were able to slip my truck in at noon and had it ready at 830 the next morning. Everyone else said a week. Thanks for getting me headed back home to Montana. You guys are wonderful.

Our ac blew out an hour outside Elko in 95 degree heat just before 5pm. We called several garages, only Joe’s picked up. He agreed to stay open to try to fix it. Turned out compressor was blown. He wasn’t able to fix it since the part needed to be ordered and we had to keep going. Joe correctly diagnosed the problem which made the repair much quicker in Colorado. He and his staff were kind, courteous and very professional. Joe did not want to take any money, but we gave him a tip and told him to take himself out for a nice dinner. I would highly recommend Joe’s Auto Repair!!

Got a tow here not knowing what to expect being from out of town. Ended up being one of the best automotive shops Ive ever been to. Joe the shop owner even went out of his way while running the shop to make sure I had a ride back to my hotel until my part came in so they could start on my car. Couldnt ask for more, just great people. Friendly staff, fair pricing and just an awesome experience. Would recommend all the way around.

We were traveling through for an overnight stay. Got to Joe’s at 3:30 pm and they jumped right on my issue. Had to replace water pump and meet a deadline for my RV resort checkout. We had an emergency on the highway, found out they were the only one open then went into town exactly an hour before they close. I went with fears of being refused because it was late, or not getting things done in time so our trip might be delayed....None of those happened. Instead, they encountered us with hospitality, quick check and diagnoses, and generous honesty when they found out that no action was necessary, and they refused to charge us even for the time and effort they spent on our car. Furthermore, they explained us why we were experiencing our situation, how to avoid it, and what to do in the future. Also a cheaper place to get the work done than our destination.For those of you who are either in town or traveling, come here. Visit them. They are efficient, experienced, honest and very friendly.For those with a turbo engine and towing, if your car was not built to tow, watch out and expect your car to burn engine oil really fast.At last, the folks in the shop, my fiancée really wants me to make sure you know she is so so grateful for your help. She was extremely stressed out and you really calmed her. She really would like to express further gratitude.At last, I wish everyone safe travels, and I hope you encounter more and more nice people like them.

These guys were good. They got my truck done in time and finally I found a mechanic that was up front and honest with me. Of course it cost more than I was hoping but it always does. This time they told me up front how much and they did a good job. I will be coming back.

Just outside of Elko our car starting having issues and throwing codes. With a quick google search we found Joes Auto Repair and decided to take a chance. So glad we did, they took us right in and helped us, and got us back on the road so we could finish our trip. Very nice, very professional and we were so relieved it wasnt a major problem and they didnt charge us an arm and a leg.

Went above and beyond to help us repair an electrical issue with our car, and get us safely back on the road the same day. Great folks! Very customer oriented! Highly Recommended!

If you want to return home deeper in debt, with your vehicle still unfixed, this is the right place to go! Im not even sure how they got license to operate, and Im curious if all these 4-5 stars here are real.
