Worst company to ever exist. Went to get an alignment, waited 2 hours(with appointment, and everyone in the business up to corporate saying it takes an hour max)and they busted my wiper blades then blamed it on me!! Because the alignment has nothing to do with those...um duh!! How did they manage to break them doing an alignment? They replaced them after I lost my mind, but still made it out to being my fault. They also charged me more than I was told over the phone was their set price. Tech got mud all over the inside of my vehicle, they didnt use the paper mats and soaked my floor.. They also caused $300 in damage to my husbands truck years ago, blamed us then tried to charge us $1200. Ill never step foot in here again.

Worse experience ever. I honestly use to trust taking my vehicle here but now Ill never go here again. I came here to have them fix the problem with my rear brakes and the problem was never fixed. I was refunded my money because I was told by one of the workers he said they should of never touched my vehicle in the first place. Now I just found out that one of my tire sensors was not put on my vehicle when the guy said they did. Im so done. I was never out of line with these people Ive been patient and nice but that guy was the worse and made me feel like my car problem didnt matter. Worst customer service ever. Thanks

Used to prefer going to Les Schwab, but lately its gone downhill. Took a blown tire in on 7/30/21 at around 9 in the morning. They had quite a few tires to change so figured it would be a but. Went and ran some errands. Tire did not get done until 430 in the afternoon. Slightly frustrated but still understandable. Took the tire all the way to spring creek only to find out that it was the wrong size and I was still unable to drive the car. Called les schwab, technician admitted that he accidentally put the wrong tire on. He said he would stay late if I wanted to bring it back in. I had to work the next day so I opted not to. I took off work today. Took the tire in and was told by the tech that it would be changed immediately. Took it in a t 930. Didnt get done until 1230. Almost 2 days wasted on 1 flat tire. Also asked the front desk clerk if she could get ne a quote on 4 new tires for my car. She said she was busy the first day and didnt get a chance, completely understandable. Here we are today and the quote had been forgotten about. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

I made an appointment to get an alignment and a tire patched. After three hours, all they did was try to sell me parts and the tire leaks worse than before. Alignment never got done, tire leaks worse than before, will not visit this store again. Do not recommend. Edit to add: Steering component parts they wanted to replace had been recently replaced less than 50,000 miles prior, had no damage or wear.

Coming from Salt Lake heading to Sacramento we ended up getting a flat tire nearby and got a tow to town, dropped off here.We were immediately greeted by a nice young lady who quickly got everything taken care of. She got a work order in for a tech to go and assess if the tire was patchable or not. She told me it shouldnt take longer than an hour to get an assessment on if its still usable or if Id need to get a new tire.The tech quickly got our car into the bay, maybe within 15 minutes. After a few more minutes, he came in and spoke to us that the tire isnt able to be saved. He understands we wouldnt want a new tire, just something to get us on our way. Notifies us hes going to check their inventory for used tires.Comes back within a few more minutes saying hes got one that he can sell to us for $100, we accept even though its still more than wed like to spend.Another 10 minutes pass and he comes back in after parking our car to the side of building. Upon paying, he tells me its only $82 for everything, didnt charge for installing the tire or anything and even took the tire price down. He also told me that he was able to reset the TPMS so all tires are showing good pressure for the drive ahead of us.Thank you so much for the great customer service, we are much appreciative!

Ugh. Told me it would be a 2 hour wait to test the dead battery I had purchased from Les Schuab and was still under warranty. Husbands battery also died on the way to get my battery checked. I had 4 kids in the truck and after waiting for an hour for AAA they couldnt simply test the battery. My old Les Schuab in Red Bluff California was amazing, staying late to replace my battery last time. This Les Schuab not only lost my battery business but tire buisness and all other business as well.

We have had excellent experience with Les Schwab in in the past, so when we had a tire issue with our RV, we went to the Elko location counting on the same quality. This location did not disappoint! Our service writer Justin and our mechanic Hector were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get us back on the road in no time.....which was amazing for a busy Saturday. Top quality experience again.

Great people, will be back. No hidden charges. I will be back for any tire work I need in the future. Old school work ethic is there.

When I got there to pick up my truck as I was told in 2 hours....they forgot to service my truck and it was not even moved from its original parking spot. Lady who was checking the status, she just told me that they did not get to it yet ....and that I’ll need to come back or wait for it .... I requested a manager and he had them get it immediately and it was fixed in 30 minutes without the charge, as he promised. He is new and he is great! Give him a chance if you are upset with Le Schwab...

Took car in for balance and rotation was told it would take 2 hours 4 hours later I still sitting here not happy with them. I would rather them be honest and tell me really how long it would take!¡

The service is decent, they never honor their tire warranty though....

When rotating and balancing my tires they made it shake worse and didnt tell me the were any problems. They also called to get clearance for extra work and I agreed up to a certain $ amount, they misrepresented the amount and then they did 3x the agreed upon amount that I didnt feel was needed.

Very friendly people. If they see that you have been there for some time they check on you vehicle and let you know how much longer it will be. I take all of my business there.

Bought a tire from a California location. Tire was still under warranty when the sidewall blew out. Had it towed to this location. Staff inside the office were great and attentive! They are the only reason this review is getting 4 stars. The technician that collected the tire was rude from the get go. He was short with his answers and didnt seem to want to be there helping anyone. Tried to deny that I bought the tire from a les schwab even though I had the reciept in hand. And then called me a liar when the guys in the office honored the warranty by telling me that they dont even sell the tire I was claiming was under warranty. I get that everyone has bad days and Im hoping this individual works on his customer service skills. Otherwise you guys did great! Despite the technician if I ever need a tire in the area again they will be the first ones I go to! They were fast and reliable!

Went back 3 seperate times to fix the same flat. On another occasion i asked them to rotate tires i bought from them on my rwd and install a newly purchased rim. The rim was not an exact match but i can live with that. The problem was when i was given my keys i was told my rims were installed and tires rotated. Now unless they turned my car into a fwd they did not rotate them. It was done in 3 hours which was quick because half the work wasnt done. They hide shoddy work behind a smile so you dont notice whats wrong till you get home if at all. I dont feel i should have to take my car in more than once for the same problem. Twice is understandable people make mistakes. But 3 times just go somewhere else. But they did help get me home.

We were on a cross-country trip, and heard a dreadful grindy noise. They were able to get us right in, replace the shaft carrier bearing, and had us out the same day!

Took my Tesla Model S in for new tires and was assured they could properly install them so I believed them and didnt ask questions. Ordered the tires, they installed assuring me everything went well. I noticed a clicking noise shortly after I left so I called and took it back the very next morning. They gave it a quick walk around for maybe 10 minutes (I have cameras that record everything at all times with time stamps) they didnt even pulled the tire off of the side the noise was coming from. Told me they didnt find anything and to take it to Tesla service. For over $300 Tesla service discovered that Les Schwab had used the wrong type of weights to balance the tire (they used snap on instead of tape on) and one side was catching the steering rods of the car. Fortunately the damage was evident but minimal. They rebalanced them properly for me. I took my invoice from Tesla service back to Les Schwab and they gave me a full refund for Tesla service! They were not rude about it in any way and apologized profusely. Thanks for making it right guys!!

Ive been in twice to get work done. Both times I was told it would be several hours before they could get my truck in... its my only car and I dont have a ride so of course I have to wait. I asked if I could make an appointment because I didnt want to wait 4 hours. Both times I was told we dont do appointments, first come first serve. Never heard of that in this business before! Was told to come back and try later... thats very poor customer service!

These guys are great and dont overcharge or try to upsell you on anything. If they cant help you or feel like you can get what you need better from somewhere else, they help and direct you. I trust them with my business.

So I’ve took my vehicle to another place in town for an alignment and they had it in and off for a week, at the end they couldn’t fix it. I call up Les Schwab and talk to a guy there, Bill. He says he can fix it no problem, I was skeptical. I get there and he takes it for a test drive. He’s gone about 10 minutes and comes back and says it’s all done!! Stunned, I ask, how’d you fix that so fast and on a test drive no less. He said, oh I’ve already did the test drive, had it on a rack and adjusted it now would you like to test drive it yourself. Amazed, I say yes and off we go. Well, it’s perfect, like it came off a lot new or something. I would never go anywhere else for an alignment. He’s some sort of mad genius when it comes to this. The alignment whisperer. His name is Bill. Don’t screw around, just take it to him.

Poor service lazy employees the last 2 times Ive went there one was for new set of tires on my pickup took them from 9am until almost 4pm to get it done and there were only 2 people ahead of me.this last time was for a flat repair they had three people waiting and told me it would be 4 to 5 hour wait. I worked there in 2001 and we would have a new set in and out with in 45min. Major disappointment. So if your in elko nv and need tire service I recommendBIG O, Percel or even walmart.

This could have been a very bad experience as the clerk neglected to inform me of critical information. However, upon pickup, Devin double checked to make sure I had been informed then went way above and beyond to fix the issue. What an awesome employee!

The price on the wheels and tires i special ordered was ok here. But the follow through on service has been bad. It took 3 weeks and several efforts to get the wheels in and then the color was still wrong. The black wheels that came looked ok and I was tired of waiting so I decided to keep the incorrect wheels. No apology for the wrong item or even a hint of something off the top. After the wheels were installed I was told the TPMS system was not put in the wheels because the manager told the tech that Subaru systems are hard to re-learn. I kinda thought that was the point of taking it to a specialist . Save yourself the head achr of waiting hours for poor service. Just order the same tires on comparable wheels from tirerack.com.

Very busy on a Tuesday morning. But they were extremely courteous, and had my truck done sooner than promised.

I went in with brake problems. Having been there before to get tires, i thought id give them some returning buisness. After being told i need to replace all my break cuffs breaks, and being quoted almost 1300 dollars to fix (which i could never afford) i decided to get a second opinion. Went to a second location and was told only two needed to be replaced and that after all maintenance would only be 700 dollars. Over charged and slammed with unnecessary work. Never coming here again.

Itd be great if this company didnt stop taking customers 1.5 hours before they close. If you cant maintain your business hours, because you dont have enough personnel...something needs to change. I wont be back.

I blew out a tire on the interstate highway and they quickly send the best tire man I ever met, Devin. He was quick, kind and professional. He offered for me to follow him to the shop and even balanced my tire. While doing so he discovered I had another bad tire and bad bearings on the assembly hubs. He warned me and put on my spare tire for me for free. I had spine surgery and he just did all this heavy stuff for me with no fuss. I told him i was low on money and he did everything he could to help me anyway. I took up alot of his time and he remained cool about it all. I hope his managers give him the pay and respect he deserves as he should be in management himself in my opinion. I wish every tire experience was that good. If you ever read this....thank you again Devin as I made it to California safe thanks to you. If I was rich I would send you money. Take care and may that Karma come back to you sir.

Traveling from California to Wyoming with a loaded car trailer when the truck started to shake a little too much for comfort. After calling ahead to confirm theyd be able to look at the truck I realized how late it was and pulled in 10 minutes until closing time. Not only did they check the truck, they had a part ordered and on its way within minutes! Im currently on the road again and the truck is SO much better! I cant thank these guys enough for making what couldve been a total disaster into an easy fix. Now my fiancé and two dogs can complete our 9 hour journey to Wyoming with ease. Great customer service and got the right tires I needed

Blew a tire on the car i was towing behind my RV. It was a terrible situation and the team at Les Schwab was very accommodating! They took care of it in a timely manner, exceeded my expectations (even in price...I thought this was surely gonna cost me), went above and beyond to ensure all tire pressures in both vehicles were good, and had us safely on our way. Every staff member I interacted with was courteous, friendly and funny! I can’t thank the team enough for making us feel better in a very stressful time.

On the last leg of our cross county trek our van began making a scary noise. Luckily we found this location in Elko as we didn’t want to risk breaking down on I-80 in Nevada. Les Schwab employees Donald Thompson and Amelia Mendith got us in, replaced the wheel bearings and had us on our way within three hours. This was no small task given how busy he store was that day. Thank you so much!!

Left greasy handprints all over the car had a tire we wanted saved and thrown in the trunk and they tried to steal it this place sucks and a four hour wait time

Very nice costumer help and helped fix my issue. Usually decently clean, restrooms are a bit weird but at least it has some. It is an older building so dont expect much. They do theyre job, and usually well. Desk is always nice.

My sons & I were on a road trip (8/2014) to UT, NV, AZ & CA, we had an issue w/ our car and Ray helped us out and would not charge us for any of the help. He was fast & very courteous. Im glad my son suggested we stopped, Les Schwab gave us peace of mind! :o)

Don’t usually review places unless they are very good or very bad. I made an appt online with them the day before and showed up on time, came back after 3 hours and my car hadn’t even been pulled in yet. waited in the shop & it seemed like everyone was getting their cars in before i was, also the front lady acts like it’s a disadvantage on her part for paying customers to come through with the attitude she puts out. Ended up taking my car across the street to the Express Lube and they were more than happy to help me out in a timely fashion. Support your local mechanic! Just because they have a fancy brand name doesn’t make them the best.

I showed up 5 mins before they closed on a Saturday and the guys changed two of my tires. They didnt seem bothered that I showed just before closing. Thanks so much!

This place does not honor their prices they give you. Like example go in and get a tire for a price go back pick up your tire and its a totally different price.

Techs scratched my buddies wheels up after multiple employees looked at the wheels and said it wouldn’t be a problem putting tires on them, then the manager refuses to take responsibility and tries to dodge phones calls, extremely unprofessional and cowardly

These guys are the most honest and safest place to take your vehicle for any tire or undercarriage work that needs doing. Thank God for Les Schwab. They must really do a thorough vetting of their mechanics because every one of them is impeccably qualified both in the moral sense and in the service sense towards doing it right. Very busy place, I would suggest calling. I had 4 tires to chane and was going to use the best one for a better spare. I did not need it so I saved money as they did not have to touch it.

Came in 15 minutes before they closed with a tire problem, I wouldnt have been able to get home if these guys didnt help. It was great customer service & they helped give us peace of mind for the drive home.

Everyone does their best work here, thats why you have to wait but its well worth the service you get. Customer service in Elko is rare & you will always receive it here. If you have a tire lite on just drive up & one of them will stop what they are doing & come rite out and ck your tires ( with a smile even) . They are the best!!! Dont appreciate that con artist work. Called last friday about our truck, lady said that she didnt understand that she needed to read the notes, told me to call on Tues. Tuesday came I called, I was told to talk to MOISES. Called Wed still no one could READ THE NOTES and ANDREA PRETENDED TO PLAY DEAF AND DUMB couldnt understand to read the notes. I hollered at her to transfer me to the manager. Manager is having a NICE VACATION, was given to Tyler and he still didnt understand why there was a rush to get my vehicle in so fast. Didnt understand why his staff was playing so stupid didnt understand what the issue was never got resolved.

The work was great. Took significantly longer than the quoted time. Counter person was a little mouthy, which was a plus in my book. Good to see we werent the only ones upset the shop was taking so long.

Stop off to get tire pressure checked and serviced. Was in and out in 5 minutes. Friendly staff and punctual. Great place for tire service. Thank you Les Schwab.

I did not have an appointment when do walked in and there was a little wait but I bought my tires for my Tacoma last time and they always have tires you are looking for. I waited over 2 hours but the tire technician did exactly what I Talked to them about cause I ruined 1 tire back on June and I wanted to keep them the same SO I bought 3 Moreno there always busy there that tells me that they are good at what they do.

We limped into the Elko Les Schwab with a spare on our 5th wheel, after having a blow out in the middle of no where. The front was very busy, and lucky for us, the salesperson called Matt from the service area to come help up front.From start to finish, this young man took care of us. I dont think there was anyone working harder in the place.He was true to his word when he said he would take care of us asap. Being a hot day, we sat out front in the shaded grass area with our two dogs. We could see everything happening in the service bays as well as our 5th wheel parked on the side. Matt was knowledgable, efficient and got us back on the road safely, as promised.Les Schwab, you are lucky to have this fellow; I hope you know how valuable he is!

Had brakes that desperately needed replacement, Saturday at 2. The needed it for the whole day to do all the work so I was going to come back when I could. They ended up insisting on doing it and staying late to get it done right. Much appreciated!

Over 1.5 hours to replace 4 tires, that is time on the lift. Last work we had done here the tie rod fell off after lift installed. Ive been shopping with Les Schwab forever 30 years and every store but this one had a come running attitude. This one wow. Then Rich made it right they made my wait worthwhile. Thanks Rich

I bought my tires last Saturday, waited 2 hours. I came in yesterday to say it was wobbly. They said bring it in tomorrow.The bead came off today on the freeway doing. 75mph. Front tire, drivers side now waiting again. Looking at that tire promise on the wall in their showroom. Peace of mind promise. Another day of waiting.

Good service as expected from a les Schwab tire center. Typical wait times, 1+hour which can go longer when they are busy. About 1.5 to 2 hour average. Good dining nearby, easy walking distance, makes the wait more tolerable.

While traveling on vacation from New Mexico, we spent a few days in Salt Lake City. Before continuing on our way to the Reno NV area, we stopped for gas. After we filled our tank, we checked the oil. We had just gotten the oil changed the day before we left on our trip. As we checked the oil, the dipstick showed that we were a quart low. I checked the oil three times to make sure I was reading the dipstick correctly and each time it showed that we were a quart low on oil. We wanted to get on the road so we decided to make a plan to stop in Elko, NV to buy some oil. My wife and I figured we would be okay to drive the 240 miles or so to Elko.Once we got to Elko, we stopped at a store and bought a quart of oil. From there, we went to the gas station and filled our tank. Once we got gas, I added the quart of oil. This is where I made my mistake. I didnt think to check the oil again before adding the oil. At that point, I checked the oil. And imagine my surprise. We were now a quart high! I checked the oil a couple times and sure enough, the dipstick showed one quart high. In looking online, I found out that running a car with the oil a quart high could potentially damage the engine.We decided to look for a place to see if they could drain the extra quart from our engine. We first went to a local quick lube establishment. When we talked to one of their employees, we were told they would be unable to help us. The person told us to try Les Schwab Tire Center down the street. We went to Les Schwab and were helped by a young lady at the counter with no wait at all. We told her about our problem and she said that thought her company would be able to help us. She asked us to wait while she checked with her supervisor. She came back just a minute or so later and told us that they would be able to help us. Within a minute or two, a pleasant young man came over to where we were seated and asked for my car keys. He took the keys, immediately pulled the car into a bay and drained off our extra oil. Within fifteen minutes, he was back with my car keys. My wife and I were totally impressed. From the time we walked in the front door, until we were on our way toward Reno was only 20 minutes! Service was great! I highly recommend Les Schwab Tire Center to all who might need their services!

I don’t always leave reviews for Les Schwab, but when I do, it’s well earned, believe me. Greg and his tech were super helpful when my mother and I were in town to bury my grandmother. There was a sound coming from Mom’s car that made us think we had a bad wheel bearing. The tech Greg assigned confirmed it wasn’t that, and was suspect of a spare tire of different tread depth on the Subaru’s AWD system causing issue, OR something with the rack and pinion. He suggested we drive through Twin Falls, ID on our way back to Washington, and have the dealer take a closer look at the transmission, differential, suspension, etc. low and behold, the Les Schwab’s hunch was spot on! The dealer in Twin Falls confirmed there is an issue with rear pinion! In my experience it is extremely rare to get such service from a tire shop in an a pinch, let alone in a remote small town. I’d give 6 stars to this crew if I could!

So I go in for an oil change. I bring my own oil they tell me customer oil is not permitted. If you like taking care of your car and having your own products then do not go to Les Schwab in Elko .

Traveling long distance & my tire goes flat. Replace it on the roadside with the spare/donut tire. Just before I arrive at Elko, the donut blows out! Les Schwab is minutes away from closing & Im still at best 10 minutes out, hobbling along on my blown spare tire. Call them, explain the situation, & they agree to stay open for me. I limp in, they replace the main tire (was too far gone to fix), & Im back on my way in less than 10 minutes. Tried to tip the technician, but he refused my tip saying he was just happy to help. Blown away by how willing to help they were, staying after their shifts had ended. God bless.

Used to really like Les Schwabs, they filled my wife full of lies trying to pressure her into pulling the trigger on new tires that day. She called me and told me they said it was better for her to drive around on a donut spare than it was too have mismatched tread. That it would ruin the drive train of her vehicle. Which is ironic since the spare is significantly smaller and a completely different tread pattern. So Im not sure how that logic applies. Bought four brand new tires from a guy in spring Creek with a 65k mile warranty for $320.00 less than what Les Schwab wanted for identical service. Shop around theres better places to go.

I had a screw in my tire, went to Wal Mart, after 1 1/2 hours was told it wasnt fixable. It was 1 1/2 inches from side wall.Took it to Les Schwab and they said No Problem.Thank you Les Schwab...you get my Business from now on!!!
