I’ve been a loyal customer with a flawless payment record since 2017. I’ve been renting the same 7.5 x 10 ft. storage unit where I started off at $96 month less than 4 years ago. I just got notified that my new monthly rent is going up again...to $157.00! Furthermore the increase comes one month short of a year of the last increase. Another funny thing are the amounts of the monthly increases:2017-2018 + $42018-2019 + 132019-2020 + 282020 - 2021 + 12Please tell me what justifies a 64% increase in fees in less than 4 years? I’ve checked my PS stocks and there’s no return there... so what gives? I think you overcharge the loyal customers to compensate for the deadbeats. I don’t think I’ll continue with this annual gouging of my wallet. I’m sure I’ve out paid the value of my stored stuff with thus treatment.

Overall an awesome experience. I reserved my storage unit online. Within 5 minutes I had a call from a representative to schedule a time for me to come by and fill out the paper work. I was able to do most of the registration online beforehand so that made it very easy.At the facility, Brittany was very prepared. She showed me the unit and then had me complete the paperwork. She had my gate code ready to go and explained the process for entering and exiting as well as other rules. Brittany was really helpful.I highly recommend this storage facility.

I didnt like the hidden fees that dont appear until you have to put your payment info in. You get charged $20 for a lock and $15 extra a month for insurance, plus administrative fees and tax and yadda yadda yadda.I still went through with renting at this location though.

Do not store stuff here!!! Mice, insects, moisture. My electronics were ruined. Hole in the door allowed insects, roaches and moisture and water to get into unit. Management did not care. Tried to move stuff out in time to avoid another wasted fee of $200 but they billed me anyways even though I was out by the first. The storage units on the north side are in very rough shape. There is trash and leaves from last year in front of the units. Insects, roaches and mice are prevalent. There is a branch on the north side that has been broken and blocks traffic that has been down for a year. When I complained about the issue the clerk said what do you want me to do, cut down ALL the trees!? I said no, just clean the leaves on the ground and perform maintenance!

I have used several storages for my business and I realized that public storage is the best of all so far. The staff are quite professional, they explain their rules and regulations very clearly, they are patient, friendly and polite, they response to my needs promptly.I like the location of the storage, it is very clean and safe. I am very relaxed and calm when in the public storage premises. I highly recommend it. A representative called Miss Paula is very good. I like her politeness she seem to know A lot about the storage and I admire her speed and accuracy in handling customers. I like public storage.

I moved in to a unit here with the intent to eventually move a vehicle into this unit. Then the virus worsened, my job cut hours, and above all else I got sick. I was not able to pay for 2 months of storage space since I had to prioritize other expenses. Not to mention I had orders to stay in the house. This company harassed me at least once a day, even calling my dad about my unit space. I eventually spoke to Paula (the facility manager) their customer service center (which the representative I spoke to was insanely rude) and the district manager, Brad, all of which in so many words told me, “Hope you feel better, we take cash, card and check”. The unit was EMPTY and had I not been sick I would’ve made the time to close out my account with them sooner. It’s absurd to me how inconsiderate this company is during this difficult time and based on this experience I would NEVER recommend anyone store anything through Public Storage.

We had a wonderful experience here. It was late when we came in to see a locker. Paula was very patient with all of our questions and helped us with the right lock and explained the rental process. It was almost time to close but she never tried to rush us along. Paula was very helpful and made sure we had the appropriate size and still stayed within our budget. My experience at Public Storage in Elkridge, MD has been nothing but amazing. Tiffany was professional, informative and helpful from choosing a unit, lock and insurance. Her upbeat spirit and her willingness to assist is the reason I decided to continue to use Public Storage after downsizing. I am extremely satisfied!

Avoid at all costs. The outdoor units are infested with mice. It’s clean when you move in but within a month I had mouse droppings everywhere. I called management and they said there was nothing they could do. They still increased my rent by over 20 percent within 6 months. I found a dead mouse in my unit so now I have to pay someone again to move everything before it’s all ruined by the mice. It’s not worth the initial savings all the damage I have incurred. The staff are friendly but that doesn’t help if your property is ruined. Go elsewhere.

Today, I received the best customer service ever from any storage facility Ive used in the past. Tiffany was absolutely amazing! She definitely knows her job, the computer system and she listens to her customers needs and is quick to remedy a solution. She turned a glim situation upside down and I appreciate her efforts. Came in with my uncle to rent a space at this location and the property manager Ms. Donna was very professional. She greeted us as soon as we walk through the door with smile and asked question in details room by room on what my uncle was storing at first I was like why so many question? She than explained that my uncle need to protect his things that he would be storing from beginning to end. After asking detailed question she went over benefits of the property gate hours etc. Upon completing paper she went over everything with my uncle what really put the icing on her customer attitude was when she walked us back outside to the key pad to ensure that the code worked properly and ask have she provide 5 star service I thought to myself my she have went beyond 5 star service I would definitely recommend others to rent at this location lastly the property was very clean.

Clean space. Friendly and helpful property manager. Donna will show you various sized units if not sure what is needed. Competitive prices and good first time customer online promotions. Donna walked through terms of lease in a professional manner, she does encourage you to purchase materials, locks, packing boxes, insurance, etc but be sure to only buy what you really need. Although the prices seemed reasonable and they were running various specials. Process took longer than I would have liked, but overall a positive experience.
