Chesapeake Service Center did our travel trailers inspection and replaced its tires. They were awesome to work with, fast service and so friendly! The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable! My wife picked up the trailer and felt safe pulling out of there with our two little girls in the truck knowing they had completely gone over everything. We will absolutely be back!

What started as a simple tire installation ended up ALMOST KILLING ME! BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE CENTER!Came in for service to get tires installed after purchasing them on TireRack. Tire Rack recommends this service center as a premier installer. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! (MORE BELOW)PROBLEMPrior to bringing the car in for the tire installation, I noticed that the brakes were making a noise. I specifically asked if the technician could take a look at the brakes. The lady who worked at the front assured me that they would take a look. After the technician dropped off the paperwork I asked her again about the brakes to which she replied (based off of the technicians report) that there was nothing wrong with the brakes. She reiterated that had the technician found any issues with the brakes they would have noted so in the report/receipt once they handed it off to her.Yesterday, my brake pedal started sinking and the brakes were not engaging fully while I was driving southbound on I-95. I had the car looked at and the technician found that the brake pads were completely worn out causing the calipers to break off that led to all the brake fluid draining out of the vehicle. With my Ford E-350 being a front-wheel-drive vehicle, the technician said that there is no way that the brake pads and the calipers in the REAR of the vehicle would have worn down to that point within a couple of weeks. Especially considering the fact that the car is driven only 2 times a week.I am not sure how much trust and respect should be given to an auto service center that cant even see that a brake pad is worn out. Furthermore, I trusted them with this diagnosis that could have ended up causing significant physical harm to myself and others. This is a church passenger vehicle that is used to carry sometimes as many as 11 passengers at a time. Luckily this problem occurred without any other passengers on-board. However, this could have become a very large catastrophe. Please BEWARE of this shop and beware of the work they do.CONCLUSION:This shop has great reviews from other customers and this may have been a one-time anomaly. However, I felt that future customers should be made aware of this situation and should be able to make an informed decision as to all the positives and NEGATIVE aspects of this auto shop. While this is a service center that does Maryland State Inspections for safety, I want to call into question the thoroughness and validity of the work they do in inspecting vehicles. What should have ended up simply being a brake pad and rotor change ended up costing double because of caliper destruction.I hope that the management and ownership of this service center get a chance to review what happened and make the necessary changes to the work they do. This is the prime example of a service center haphazardly and negligently checking vehicles that put peoples lives at risk. This should NEVER happen again.

Definitely recommend this company. They were very knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. The staff there were so nice and helpful. My only complaint would be the office door was a little hard to find.

I had the unfortunate way of meeting this business as my daughter was in an accident and they towed my jeep... I have to say they were super nice and helpful easy to deal with. Its hard to find nice people in the towing business. This people are nice . I would recommend them anytime . Thanks for the service .

We were traveling from DC to upstate NY. Low tire pressure light comes on. Although not one tire is flat -- we did not want to continue driving until it was checked out. Chesapeake Service Center was recommended to us. We drove on over and Karie greeted us kindly and professionally. Our tires were inspected quickly -- no issues -- NO CHARGE -- we went on our way and made it home in good time. We were grateful for the peace of mind -- and by the way, they have a very cool waiting room. xoxo

Dont trust the good reviews. I called for towing, gave them the address to be towed to they agreed, waited 2 hours in the cold, then get call from owner, sorry I cant go there!

When scheduling an inspection I was accidentally scheduled for a Saturday. Despite them being closed they honored the appointment and did everything quickly and professionally. Everyone was very polite and there was a comfortable place for me to wait while work was being done.

Awesome service and very ethical. I was stalled on I-95 and they were able to tow me back to their service center. The problem with my car was dealer specific, so I was transported to the nearest dealership. I highly recommend them because they have great customer service and they truly want to help you. Good people!

Great folks. Knowledgeable, patient, and fair pricing. They take the time to explain things and dont get frustrated when you ask questions. They call before they do any extra work unlike a lot of shops which just do it and then slap you with a bill. Recommend.

Highly recommend this company. Our truck broke down on 95 the Saturday evening before Easter. We were a few hours from home. Jack arrived quickly and brought us safely to a nearby hotel. He went out of his way to find a part and was able to fix our truck on Easter Sunday morning and have us back on the road. The cost was extremely reasonable. We cant say enough about great the service was and what a great employee they have in Jack.

I have taken 3 cars and a popup camper here and they are quick, honest and trust worthy. They will tell you what needs to done and what would be beneficial as well without over stuffing. I will go there every time I need car work.

Chesapeake Service Center in Elkton is the best. Ive been going there for almost (Or over) 10 years. Highly recommend. In less than an hour, they were able to get to my location after I broke down in the middle of the road. Same day they told me what was wrong and had already fixed it for the best price ever. I love them!!!

Highly recommend these guys. Car broke down on 95 and was not from the area. These guys towed us back to their place and were very friendly. Had us back on the road in an hour. Very trustworthy and have good rates as well. Wish I had a mechanic like these guys back home.

Car broke down about 15 miles away from their shop, we had been stuck in traffic for 3-4 hours when my car died on the road. Jack picked us up and towed the car back to the shop. Keep in mind this a Saturday so many things close.He was very nice, and the mechanic diagnosing the car very smart, had it figured out in a few minutes. However, their parts guy was closed for the day so Jack very kindly drove me to the local Autozone to buy the part I needed. I was back on the road in an hour or so. The best place to take your car hands down.This is the best mechanic shop Ive ever been to.

Broke down on 95 this morning and these guys rescued my son and I in a timely and professional manner. Jack was a class act and engaged my son and his questions like a seasoned Grandpa. ..Dont hesitate to call these guys if you are unfortunate enough to get stuck on the side of the road!

Very curt. I was told me keys werent there. We had to make an extra trip to retrieve them. They should have been handed to the tow driver that retrieved the vehicle. The Saturday morning person I dealt with was extremely rude.
