The owner Bob is an outstanding mechanic ... trained and up to date with yearly workshops and further training. We have been using Bob as our mechanic for over 25 years. He has worked on all our cars ... old and brand new ... American and Foreign. He stays current and is like Sherlock Holmes... always solves the case. Additionally he is honest, fair and exceptionally dependable. It’s great to have a mechanic who is honest and knowledgeable.

I went in for an inspection and I knew my car was due for breaks considering the manual says to change them after 50 thousand miles. But I also knew my breaks were not that bad. The reason he failed my inspection was because of one burnt out bulb and he said my back rotors were really rusted. The owner was very nice until I said I wasn’t going to have him do the work for me and that I would do it myself. After that he was very odd and rude. When I went to change my breaks the pads were still good with even wear on them. The back rotors had a very small amount of rust. And when it comes to the burnt out side light it’s a good thing I checked both because they were both burnt out not just the left one as he claimed. This guy just wants to make money which is understandable and I bet they’re good at their job but I expect fairness and for them to stay polite even though you’re not going to make extra money off me in labor fees.

Always a go to place when there is an issue with either one of my vehicles. They are reasonably priced and always quickly to provide any updates. Never had any issues, and they do great work. Very shady company . I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE doing business with them. I took my car in without any lights on the dash and came out with my service engine soon light on . I will never go back there.. He fails inspection so you can go back ....... as you can see with all the other post that gave this shop a 1 star.

Shamrock Automotive is the only shop that we use in our family. I trust Bob Shamrock with not only my own vehicles, but with those of my children as well. Several times I’ve taken a vehicle in and said “I think it needs X, Y, and Z repaired”, and when later picking the vehicle up he says “Nope, just needed X. I am a new customer to this mechanic, but I must say I was very impressed! I was able to get my inspection done very quickly and I was able to get it done on the same day that I made the appointment. There was an issue with one of my rear calipers that caused me to fail, however The owner showed me exactly what the problem was on my car and explained it in laymans terms. The repair costs were reasonable and fair based on online price estimates for parts. I have noticed a great improvement to my cars performance after this repair. I will very likely be back for other car needs!

Bob Shamrock has been taking care of my pick-up and SUV for many years. He is Good at what he Does. Very Honest, which is hard to find at an automotive repair shop. He could have taken advantage of me several times but in the end has saved me thousands of dollars as compared to other repair shops. Shamrock does great work. Hes timely and very reasonably priced. And he stands behind his work. I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else. I can definitely say hes made me a customer for life.

I hit a pot hole that caused my tire to blow out and bent my rim. I got all new tires put on and they even got the dent out of my rim, it looks like it never happened. Customer service was so helpful and the mexhanics were awesome guys. I’m definately using them for any of my cars needs from now on

Shamrock has worked on 3 different vehicles for me. most recently repalced wheel bearings on my explorer. rapid service, reasonable price, actually was about $75.00 LESS than i was quoted and expected. the difference in the handling of my vehicle was amazing and noticed within seconds of pulling. the owner (?) is knowledgable and willing to explain what is going on with your vehicle. He has my business and Id suggest him to anyone I know

I took my car in a while back due to an oil leak. The guy said it was the gasket, etc and charged me over $800. He had my car nearly a month. Kept giving me excuses that they havent been able to get to it, etc. Finally I get it back and all was good for about 3 weeks or so and it started leaking again. I think all they did was fill it with stop leak. I didnt take it back to them or anyone else. All I do is put the stop leak in here and there and it works for a while. So Im sure thats all they did. Youve been warned about these guys.

Had my truck inspected there and he lost my inspection papers and is trying to make me repay for another one. No worries my lawyer is having a good talk with him about recomp my money plus lawyer fees

Great fair shop to deal with.

If there was a lower star to give this place I would have done that, the guy is an absolute thief. I went in with my car for an inspection, car only had 23k miles on it and he failed it saying the Brake Rotors are rusted and you ll have to come back for a re inspection and pay 40$ again. I took the car to the dealer to get the rotors replaced and dealer told me there is nothing wrong with them you dont need to change these at all. This guy is just failing inspections so that he can make more money on re inspections.

These people are total scam artists. I came in with a car that was two years old and they failed my inspection. They removed my lug nut and said it was missing so they failed me. I will be in touch with the attorney general and consumer affairs

Tried to rip me off, giving me a quote for work that didnt need to be done on my car, took my car elsewhere... Was really upset when they put my car on the lift and noticed that he had spraypainted under my car with bright orange paint... Even though you cant see under my car he still should not have sprayed paint on it... That is vandalism, .... What gives them the right
