You know how it is here. Don’t bring your items to sell back to them because it will be a huge ripoff. But you can buy anything from there no problem but u can probably find it cheaper somewhere else
It has been quite some time since I have been to this location, but this visit was unusual and mad eme feel less than welcome. I came in to look at action figures and pops and spotted one I liked. I was the only person in the store might I add. So, I enter the line where it says Line starts here. Then seven minutes goes by while I watch what seems to be the only employee there, walking back and forth to the register and then the floor to stock. We made eye contact several times and I hated the thought of being a pushy or rush customer. I have been in retail so I get it. Thats when a dad and two kids walk in and walk right up to the counter acknowledging me standing there and asking their question about a video game and she handles their transaction while glancing at me still waiting to be helped. The dad and his kids leave and she turns and looks at me and exhales heavily before giving a reluctant..are you ready? the remainder of my interaction at the counter was normal as was the greeting when I arrived, but I felt very neglected by her doing that to me.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
My wifes boyfriend loves this place. He was able to sell my console and games for 30% of retail value and give her nice night out on the town.
I made a reservation here and when I arrived it was gone. The staff here helped me locate the same product at another location, called the location to put the product on hold for me, and then followed up via email after I picked it up.Theres a sense of personal touch here is that is missing in a lot of Corporate America. Hats off to the employees at this location.
Paul Refused a trade in 25 minutes before closing what the reason that was said was that it would take too long
A decent sized gamestop with a wide variety of collectibles and games. Ill go in just to look around and half the time Ill leave with something. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Customer service:The woman behind the counter was very helpful, to me and everyone else who entered that evening.Gamestop as a whole: Decent prices if your buying, but if youre selling, try ebay first. They lowball you.
Waited in line to use a gift card we have never used before and was told “that’s a older card we can’t take it”. Seems like they neither cared nor wanted to help last that. The days of customer service are looong gone
I always liked it here ever since I was a kid. It was my go to place for anything video game related. The only reason for 4 stars is that sometimes there workers are not aware of their customers needing help so just make sure to alert them. Other than that, great store!
I just wanted to buy Zodiac age for the switch and was met by a wonderful employee who new a lot about the game. As were talking the manager came to chime in and clearly didnt know anything about the game, but kept trying to but in. Not only that she tried to get me to pre order a game I didnt want and sign up for a gamestop card that is not worth it at all. I liked the employee I talked to but I dont want to walk into the store having a fear of being pressured to sign up for stuff I dont want
Store manager went above and beyond to help me. I really hope everyone gets the same service that I was afforded because I will be returning solely for the service I received today. Thank you!
I talked to manager one time and she was very pushy about trying to get a gamestop card even after saying I didnt want one multiple times. I was asking about a game and she would somehow bring in the gamestop card and how it would be beneficial for me. I felt that I showed no interest in it but she wouldnt let it go. Lastly, she would not stop talking about her life and her leg prolonging my stay when I had to be somewhere and I wasnt trying to be rude but dont go off on tangents when most people just wanna go in and out.
Mike D was very helpful. My transaction was smooth and, I didnt feel like I was being rushed. Overall, I had a nice visit and look forward to coming back to this location.
A good place to visit if youre wondering why theres a steady decline in brick-and-mortar retail. Why search through a messy, disorganized collection of overpriced, mostly unwanted merchandise while jostling elbows with too many other shoppers in a too-warm environment only to stand on line forever so a disgruntled employee can inform you that the item youve settled on is out of stock? Even overpriced shipping from an online shop has got to be better than this.
Did not sell enough copies of Madden 08 to satisfy my needs
My son has now just gotten into the video gamer scene. And the workers here are always so helpful and patient! I really do love to applaud the great service! Because not every game stop is like this !
Love gamestonk
Great customer service!!! This location is friendly and welcoming Don Diaz and Rhys Winn go above and beyond with helping me reserve coming games and any questions i may have. I have also recommended fellow gamer to reserve and purchase games at this location!!!!!!
Customer service was great. Gentleman knew his stuff. He answered my questions and assisted me with everything I needed. Did the online game hold and it was up front and ready. I will visit again if the need arose.
Always very helpful, and work around everything to find what I want. Best GameStop store in Maryland.
Only one employee when I came in to browse. Very nice guy.
Im amazed at the stupidity of this stores decision not to accept a brand-new Play Station 4 (still in the original box, and never opened),as a trade-in for a X-Box 1. We were told that we needed to take it out of the box and play with it for a while before they would accept it as a trade-in. Simple enough. When it was clear that logic wasnt part the discussion, we simply drove 10-minutes down Rt 40 the store in Catonsville. Where they were more than glad to accept a brand-new, never used Play Station 4 as a trade-in. Guess whos getting our business in the future!
This place smells like a gym mixed with hot pockets. Gross.
Before coming into the store, I checked on both the GameStop website and on the mobile app to make sure this store had the item I was looking for (it isnt the most common thing so I didnt want to assume they had it, wanted to make sure). When I told the gentleman working what I was looking for, he proceeded to look on the computer in the store, he then tells me they are out of stock. I told him that it said it was in stock in this store, he then just tells me that Rolling Rd store has it in stock. Most of the time, when I say something about it being online, they will check the shelves. This kid didnt even leave behind the desk. He had a slight attitude and this is the same attitude I get from almost every person Ive dealt with in the past at this store except for a gentleman Ive dealt with a few times named Tony. They have this better than thou attitude about them. Yet, the one time I have been to the Rolling Rd store, they have been nothing but incredibly kind and helpful. Even though this store is right around the corner from my house, I am going to be driving 4 miles away just so I dont have to deal with their attitudes ever again. They really need to start being helpful and stop being annoyed at those that arent hardcore gamers.
This is the store we go to. We know most employees there even so they rotate from store to store quiet often. The staff is super friendly and talk to you about the game play and not just sales. I just wish they would call us when they new special editions can bepre-ordered. We were used to this at our old store. The location has a few 30 min parking spots outside and at times the parking lot gets crazy.
Staff was very helpful and honest when asked for an opinion.
The people here could not have been nicer or more helpful
Great people they are friendly and nice never feel intimidated to ask questions very helpful
Staff is very helpful! Will be returning soon
Service is pretty good except store will not have something when the website says that they do though.
Ive always gotten great service from these guys, fun to talk to, and they know what they are doing.
OK, this is about the gamestop in general. The guys there were friendly, so I dont have complaints to them.Gamestop stores are only good for USED games. If you want new games, go somewhere else. They OPEN the FRESH NEW GAME and store the game disc and manual separately, and when you buy it, they put the game discs in the case and close it with clear sticker which leaves terrible sticker residue. When I complained about the procedure, only thing I heard was its company policy.Well, duh.And when I checked the disc there for scratch, it looked all fine. But when I checked at home, there were few somewhat unnoticeable fine scratches. So much for the NEW game.Anyway, if you want sticker residue from that seal as well as stupid gamestop price sticker on your FRESH NEW game case with possible scratches on the game disc, please, go and buy from gamestop. At least, I will never buy new games from gamestop.
Nice, friendly environment.
Awesome service
The guy at the counter really knew his stuff. Great service.
I understand that the employees are supposed to sell a certain number of pre-orders, but verbally assaulting a customer for 10 minutes to get them to pre-order Battlefield 3 is a little desperate. Have some class....
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable
I traded 5 games, and they didnt give me any credit for 2 of them! They just took them! Even though they were on the trade value site... Stupid
The store is a mess. The staff is friendly, so they got that going for them.
Didnt get a reasonable trade price for my limited edition PS4 bundle
Very knowledgeable & friendly staff
Very friendly and awesome
Only one person working on a Saturday afternoon
