I wanted to double the size of my bathroom and create a walk-in closet and some minor work in my master bedroom.Henry, Marvin and his team did a fantastic job in making what I wanted a reality. Henry came to my house a couple times to discuss my vision and really gave me a reality check on what was doable within my budget. Very frank and upfront, which I always appreciate.Once I decided to go with them, going in and working on the design was great. It’s always good when someone listens to your inputs, tries to make it work instead of just saying no.The selection of the materials was simple and easy. If you cannot find what you want in the vast array of tile, hardware and stuff, it either doesn’t exist or your expectations are too high. I knew what I wanted and Henry was able to get the material!He said the project would take five weeks and that is what it took. We spent more time waiting on permits than the time the project took to complete. Henry kept me informed every step of the way.Henry, Marvin and his team were always professional and courteous, which is something I highly value in a companyI would highly recommend Mimosa Kitchen & Bath.

Our original bathroom was 34 years old and totally outdated. Mimosa’s touch really brought a new spirit to our master bedroom. We are very satisfied with the work that was done. We had a wall knocked down, carpet pulled up and everything. This project was completed in 2 weeks! We are now waiting for our custom shower door then we will have a 100% complete bathroom! Mimosa team recently finished remodeling our kitchen. We love the new look. The workmanship is great. Henry was very helpful, patient and accommodating to our ideas and material selection all through the project. The project took five weeks to complete but majority of time was waiting for material to come in. That was because of us not finalizing our tiles selection till the last minute. We wanted to have the cabinets and the countertop installed to see how our shorted listed tiles would look in our kitchen before making the final selection. Henry was very accommodating. I am glad we waited because we end up selecting our 2nd choice for the tile backsplash and we love the finished backsplash in our kitchen. I have to mention Marvin and his crew. They were awesome, always on time, stayed as long as they needed even late evenings to finish their days work. Overall we had a great experience working with Henry and his team and would highly recommend Mimosa to anyone considering home remodeling project.

I have worked with Mimosa kitchen and Bath for my full kitchen remodeling project, Henry did an excellent job with his team . Henry oversees everything on the project, he was so kind and professional. We faced couple of challenges for plumbing stuff but henry was very helpful with his information and technical explanation to solve those issues. Project took almost 5 weeks to complete everything, (I think it was short time based on work they did in my kitchen ), We knock down the wall, moved lots of plumbing pipes as well as gas pipe, it was major renovation at our house. I would highly recommend this company to people who is considering to do larger renovation at their place .

Summary:  Mimosa Kitchen and Bath did a wonderful job.  They created the kitchen we had dreamed of and they did it at the promised price, with great attention to detail, and in the time promised.  We recommend them very highly and with no reservations.What we wanted: After putting up with a kitchen that was not well laid out we wanted a wall removed, new appliances, gas instead of electric, better cabinets, better counters, etc.  We also wanted to update the foyer powder room which Mimosa included in the deal.What we got: The new kitchen is amazing.  We love the layout, the space works so much better, and the cabinets, counters, sink, and appliances, are all beautiful. Mimosa solved a number of problems of what would fit where, added a first floor closet with their excellent design (something we had hoped for), and did it all on budget and on-time. Patty designed the space and solved the problems we presented and Henry was on-hand for everything the project needed.  The sub-contractors were all professional, polite, and took obvious pride in their work.  All necessary choices were explained and our wishes followed.  The crew left things as clean and neat as possible every day and, when the job was completed the clean-up was excellent.  We got an excellent design, a good price, high-quality work and it was all on time and on budget.  The powder room was also excellent. We cannot imagine being any happier with the outcome.  We recommend Mimosa as an excellent choice for any kitchen or bath design/build work you may have.

My kitchen renovation by Mimosa Kitchen and Bath was completed in nine working days! Henry kept me advised throughout the process so I would know what to expect. His workers, Marvin and Freddie, we very respectful of our parking and living space and were as polite as can be throughout the process. They were tireless workers and Henry was the ultimate professional throughout the process. My kitchen is absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience with a contractor.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted coming in and they helped me tile my kitchen beautifully. I would highly recommend this place if you are unsure what you want- the the whole atmosphere changed in my house and it’s better than I imagined.

I give Mimosa 5 well deserving stars. I have a small galley style kitchen. I obtained a few price quotes before I contracted w/ Mimosa. Their price was the best. Their service was also the best. My designer took pics of the kitchen and then sent me a 3d design, where she had incorporated the ideas I shared w/ her. She must have really listened because her very first draft, was 90 percent of what I wanted. Emails and one visit to the showroom, took it to 100 percent. Communication was key. Instead of trying to sell me on everything. She actually listened, took notes and worked w/in my budget. She never showed my anything that was not in my budget. Why? because I could not afford it. The project started on time and ended on time. The final result was better than I expected. I would recommend Mimosa and I will use Mimosa in the future, should I decide to take on more projects.

Henry and his team did a fantastic job on our two bathrooms. Patty, the designer, helped us pick out floor & wall tiles along with fixtures and helped us color coordinate everything together. Our bathrooms were original builder-grade and almost 30 years old so they needed a lot of upgrading. The in-depth contract that Henry provided showed all the work to be done at a price within our budget.The team he assigned to remodel the bathrooms did a fantastic job and we could not have been happier with them. They were polite, friendly, and really took their time to make sure that everything was perfect. They arrived at the agreed-upon time each day and usually worked 8 to 10 hours with hardly any breaks. They did not rush this job at all but still completed it within a very reasonable amount of time. Even when a few issues popped up unexpectedly (as always happens on a job this size), none of this phased them. They simply presented us with our options and made things perfect.The key thing about Henry is that he is very easy and pleasant to work with. He was flexible when I needed him to be and didn’t “nickel and dime” me when I made minor changes to the contract. He showed up every day to check on how the work was progressing and always asked if I had any questions or concerns. It was easy to see that he really cared about how the bathrooms looked and made sure that the little touches were taken care of even if they were not specifically spelled out in the contract.Bottom line – our bathrooms look GREAT and I would highly recommend using Mimosa Kitchen and Bath and would certainly use them for my next project.

We had our bathroom redone in early March. Henry did a great job walking us through the process and the selection of our new bathroom fittings- he even went out of his way to find us sample tiles he didnt have in the showroom. His contractor, Marvin, and his assistant were super professional, worked long days to finish the work (in less than 2 weeks) and did an amazing job with the tile placement and making the bathroom look amazing. Some of the caulk in the shower tile got a little messed up a little while after completion, but as soon as I let Henry know he was out here within 24 hours to fix it. All around good experience.

Yeah, if I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Also, let it be known that this is NOT a business that follows ANY county permit actions unless you force them to do so!!!

Very professional and, believe it or not, on time every day. Do good quality work and pay attention to details. Very flexible to changes in plans and make very helpful suggestions. Only negative is that you do need to stay on them about cleaning up the work-site.

After getting several quotes from different companies we decided to go with Mimosa. Im so glad we did. Henry is the best. He actually cares about doing the job the right way. He is very nice and genuinely cares about doing a good job. We had a few mishaps during our project but all it took was a call or a text to Henry and he was right on it. He even came to my house on a Sunday evening, his wedding anniversary, to go over a concern I had, which was something minor and could have waited until Monday, When he told me it was his anniversary I was amazed that he took the time out to come to my house to see the problem and to assure me it would be taken care of. Henry is truly a wonderful businessman and a wonderful person.I also want to mention Edwardo the person who did the work on our bathrooms. He was amazing. I am a bit of a perfectionist and every little thing I pointed out he made sure it was fixed. He was so friendly and nice. By the end of the project I was sorry to see him leave because he also genuinely cared about doing the best job that he possibly could. Nothing is going to be perfect especially in a older house but Edwardo tried his best to make it perfect and for that I am so grateful. He is a very hard worker and a great person.I could go on for days about how great the company is. I also want to mention James the person who came to give me the estimate. He was also great . When we went to the showroom everyone there was wonderful and James was a big help and knew what he was doing design wise.If you are looking to have your bathrooms remolded you cant go wrong with Mimosa. I will definitely use them in the future.

We love our new bathroom! Any kind of home repair or construction has some bumps and we had a few too. However, working with Mimosa was a very good experience. The principle was great and came every morning and every evening to check progress, address issues and ensure that the project was moving ahead as planned. Any issue that arose was handled well and everyone we dealt with was very nice and strive to make sure we were happy with the results. Our bathroom is beautiful.

Reasonable price and work...left behind some trash and left a large space in between the floor sections. One of the cupboard knobs was a bit misaligned. Henry was willing on coming back to fix the space. I liked the fact that they were willing to hook up the new appliances after work was completed. All in all I would say the end result was just average.

After speaking to three other companies and getting quotes we decided to go with Mimosa Kitchen and Bath to remodel our bathroom in our old 1970s condo. Right away Mimosa stood out. There were clearly issues and challenges with our condos bathrooms including a master bath where the previous owner installed a tub in the space of a half bath. But unlike other companies, Mimosa was willing to work with the challenges and come up with solutions with a budget we were comfortable with. We worked with Kristen in the initial stages where we described our style and design preferences. She was very collaborative and easy to work with. She didnt push any choices on us which ensured that our final bathroom selections would be something we were completely happy with. She and Henry were happy to take care of the technical details needed to install our selections.Our bathroom remodel wasnt without hiccups. The first involved taking out the old copper piping we had and replacing with cheaper PVC piping which my husband and I objected to. They had installed the PVC piping without consulting with us. Henry stated its something most people dont worry about, they install PVC piping as the default option, but my husband and I preferred the benefits of copper piping over the cheaper alternative. As a result, we had to pay additional money to have them take out the PVC piping they had installed and put in the copper piping we wanted. Although Henry offered to mitigate the cost of re-installation somewhat, it would have been lower in cost if they had consulted us about the piping in the first place.Second through no fault of their own, the tile company shipped them the wrong tile selection. So our shower room floor tile is slightly clashing with the overall tones of our bathroom. As a result of the mistake, Mimosa and Tile company offered us money back which we appreciated.Overall, we loved working with Kristen but Henry was a bit more difficult to work with in terms of not being as solution oriented. When there was an issue hed give us a reason why a particular option wasnt feasible whereas Kristen offered other options right away (e.g. when a niche couldnt be installed Kristen suggested a ledgewhich we love). The contractors were very polite and cleaned up the garbage when we asked them too.Id work with Mimosa again for our kitchen remodel. I will have to be extra vigilant about the selections installed so we get the exact kitchen we want. Id recommend others to ask as many questions as possible and to look at the work closely. If something doesnt look right, double check the right selection was installed as I did.

Terrible. The first red flag was when Henry the PM asked if we really wanted permits. I was having a full kitchen remodel including installing a gas line. Who would do that with out a permit. Then he complained about how long it was going to take since we insisted on permits. This place is completely unprofessional. Every time i pointed out a problem the PM either denied wrong doing or promised to fix it and didnt. He was going to move a window and add another, per the contract the new window is not the right size, the one they moved was not moved to the correct spot so it is in the way of the soffit which they had to rebuild but didnt bother to use a square because it isnt. The cabinets are not flush with the soffit because it is not square. When i brought this to the PMs’ attention he lied and said they didnt touch the soffit. All the original soffits are completely square (the ones they didnt touch). The new tile floor per the contract was to be a 1/3 stagger and he assured me the night before it would be, the next day it was installed 1/2 stagger and uneven. The one person working the project kept getting pulled away for other jobs. He ended up bring in a teenager to help him. The floors, door and windows had paint all over them. The transition strips were put in backwards, well they werent in because i pulled the nails out with my fingers, because they were also the wrong type of nails, NO HEAD on nail!! I kept asking the PM if he has ever done this work before because he didnt seem to know how to do any of it correctly. He kept telling me he wasnt used to people being there. He apparently flips homes because he suggested doing that to a home i was selling. There work is unpolished, unprofessional and incomplete ABSOLUTELY NO attention to detail as he states in his introductions in person and online. No one came to check the final product or go over the list of problems on the last day and they ignored us when we complained that the window they moved was leaking. I have a one year warranty, per the contract. Obviously thats worthless too. Beware, he will do pretty much anything to get your business then just do it any way he chooses. If I could do 0 stars as a rating, I would.
