Be warned, none of the staff ( even those preparing food) were wearing masks or taking reasonable precautions for the current pandemic… Not sure what’s up with that.Besides that the sandwich that I got was well done and tasty. Decent selection of drinks and beverages with seating inside and outside to eat the food. There’s also a small array of local produce like honey, maple syrup, baked goods and bars. So it would make a great stop amidst a bike ride.Except I would never recommend someone enter a place like this during a pandemic since they don’t seem to care about their customers health.

Wasnt feeling well my wife went there today to buy some can soup for me . Noticed the deli was open and they made some chicken and rice soup right then and there . It was delicious highly recommend it

I had a good lunch sandwich was made fast and the ingredients were fresh. I also found a great selection of cbd sodas. Great local find.

Isabel, Gloria and Colby are awesome and have great personalities! They treat their customers as family! After a few times going there, Colby knows what my husband and I order. He is even remembering the side order for our dog. They talk with you, joke with you and are all around great people!! From the deli to the general store, you get great service! If you want a quaint, back home type of store GO to the Ellington Depot!! You will never regret it!!!

Underside of bread was burnt and eggs were over cooked. This place was my favorite spot for breakfast last year, such disappointment.

Walking into this place reminds me of walking into an old style restaurant down in Georgia . I was looking for something that wasnt on my GPS in the folks here were more than glad to help me find where I was looking for great place. This little store belies the abundant character and charm that leaves a major impression. The staff is wonderful, i believe them to be mostly a family, but they are sweet and eager to please. The prepared foods are excellent and the baked goods are extensive and memorable. Coming in for coffee, the setup feels surprisingly intuitive and the quality is excellent. I adore the mini fridge; its nice to have cream or milk that is actually cold! They keep the place immaculate and well stocked, with a few interesting surprises. Anything you could need in a pinch, youll find it in some form here. And the pistachio cookies oh my goodness!!!

Avoid the ice cream stand just got a $4 root beer float with maybe 1 scoop of ice cream and there $3 small not even kiddie size had the same sad amount of ice cream $1 extra for hot fudge are you insane???? Total rip off mad I even tipped because Im a decent person and the kid serving probably wont even get that tip sadly curve this location for I cream !!!!!

This gas station, general store, and deli is worth a visit. The folks inside are friendly, helpful, and gregarious. Sandwiches are excellent. Its like what you would find in VT or NH. Go in, order food, sit and watch the world come and go.

Good soft serve. The doggie dish is only .99 it is a small cup of vanilla soft serve with a milkbone on top. Their deli is good also,cold and hot sandwiches from the grill.

Their deli is amazing. We get breakfast here regularly and it always lives up to the expectations. Be sure to try the home fries

The deli here used to be great. I came in with my friend every day to get sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. In the last few years theyve fired and gone through a series of bad cooks and it hasnt been the same. The woman I had today was the rudest I have ever dealt with. I ordered something off the menu, and didnt mind waiting, but she flipped out about my order and said that she had a lot to do already. It was so bad my friends and I thought she was hiking at first. I told her I could order something else, but she was so rude to me that I decided to eat lunch somewhere else. I will never be back. Its so sad to see whats happened to this place.
