I love the homey atmosphere here. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and a huge menu for desserts and ice cream specialties. We went for breakfast and it wasn’t that packed, thankfully. This place can get very packed! Our waitress was nice, and attentive to our table. Prices are good, a little above average though. The food was good, our hash browns weren’t cooked all the way, the potatoes were hard. Other than that the rest of the food was really good.It is further away from the city, which makes it a nice ride. The parking can be a bit confusing but just go to the side of the building.They take all cards, or cash. ATM available as well.

We all ordered the same dinner. Fried haddock with two sides to choose from. The fish was delicious and it was more than enough. We each brought half of it home so that we had room enough for ice cream. I gave it 4 stars because one person did not enjoy her maple walnut ice cream and it seemed to be a different recipe.

Prime rib was good a little over done. Mashed potatoes was not very warm. The baked beans were not baked. Tasted like Campbells out of a can. Did not eat. Yuck. 3 stars because I like Prime rib but was a little pricey for what I got. Went there a 2nd time. To give a second chance. 75 dollars plus tip for 2 Prime rib dinners that included 8 dollars off. You get a limited vegetable choice. Mashed potatoes are instant. Really. I guess this place is only good for a burger

Stopped to have a bite to eat with my wife Holly. We caught a lull in the action and were seated, water w/lemon was ordered while we checked out the menu. The place was exceptionally clean, although they still had a couple hours until closing @ 8:30 PM. She had a Reuben and I had a bacon cheeseburger. They had plenty of booths and tables. Dinner arrived and was made and tasted very well. Our waitress was very cordial and did a good job. She even got us to sign up for a frequent flyer club where we get a birthday dessert and collect points for later meals. We took a half sandwich home and paid our bill. We are looking forward to another meal there in the future. I would recommend this place for future meals and although we did not have any this time, we hear they have some excellent ice cream! Well try that next time!!! Looking forward to it!!!

The food was excellent I had the Rigatoni w/sausage and meatballs and a side salad came with it. It was very good I usually dont like sauce from restaurants but their sauce was very good. I am very please with their food and their sever are very good also very friendly and take care of their customers

Was wonderful! We took my son there for his Birthday tomorrow. He had their Pepper Steak, I had the broiled fish. My husband had their meatloaf. It was delicious. Had plenty of food. My husband and I brought part of our meals home. Service was good and friendly.

Excellent wings! I honestly didnt know what to think going in. Ordered the original mild wing, crispy, at first I was surprised by the lack of sauce but the flavor was very good! You could taste the freshness of the chicken. The wings were a nice size and they come with a bucket of delicious blue cheese! I will definitely be returning to try more flavors soon.

Stopped by for a quick bite and some frosty dairy treats with the crew, really enjoyed my experience. Friendly staff and the prices were very fair.

Great ice-cream, great atmosphere. SO MANY FLAVORS OF HOMEMADE ICE CREAM! Food is also very good but the portions could be bigger and they put too much salad dressing on salads. Waitresses are nice and good at their jobs. My grandfather used to take me here when I was a kid and its really cool to be going in now when I am older. I can still remember the polar bear on the roof when I was like 8-years-old.

I came in from Florida, wanted to have a nice dinner. We were a table of 6 but 3 separate bills. We were forced to pay their gratuity but received no table service at all. The waitress, Beth, who somehow was also the manager, took our order & after a 30 minute wait, brought our food. Forgotting a plate, and then we never seen her again. I had to go to the counter myself to ask for items needed. When she brought the bills we didnt know what the OPEN SRV fee was. Upon asking she said it was the gratuity for a party of 5 or more. I said it was 3 separate bills. She said Well thats how I put it to the kitchen so thats how you were charged I told her she did not deserve an almost $20 tip for 0 service. She acted as if our complaints were pointless and beneath her and charged us all anyway. I will never return and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.Very very disappointed!!!

Had dinner tonight and we were sat at a table that I was at approximately 3 years ago, it is the worst place to sit for dining in the country. My Dad was sitting in the seat that I occupied 3 years ago, every time a person walks through the entryway behind you the floor moves so much that you feel like you are going to fall. I spoke to the manager and was told that its been that way for 20 years and it is not going to be fixed, not will the table be removed.I also told her that the Roast Beef was the worst I had ever had.

I, myself can not think of a single person that has not enjoyed their Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Dessert from here. My favorite it the Belgium waffle! Try adding a scoop of ice cream instead of whipped cream. I usually add a side of crispy bacon to sprinkle over the top for that perfect sweet and salty combination.

Stopped here with my wife and daughter. The surly waitress refused to seat us at a table because we were 3; and the table held 5. We moved to another room, which apparently this waitress didnt want to bother with. We sat there at a table for 10 minutes while she ignored us. We got up and left without ordering. Will never go there again, and would not recommend the place to my worst enemies (and Im a combat veteran... not even them)! STAY AWAY!!!

Food was not so good. Im plant based. I ordered a meatless meatball sub and steamed brocolli. I dont eat butter and they poured butter over my brocolli. I paid $18 for 4 meatballs and brocolli I couldnt eat. Never again

I really wasnt satisfied with my experience there tonight. First of all the kitchen was extremely slow. Food wasnt that spectacular. Mentioned this to the server and the reply was Im sorry!!! Food prices have definitely jumped up.. Im sorry Maple Lawn but I was highly unimpressed.

First time at this place. Was taken out for my birthday. Ordered the fish fry, was the best I had. was done to perfection. Left with a slice of their coconut cake which was the best cake I ever had. I will definitely go back.

We stopped in after visiting Twinkle town at Bradley Farms. My husband and I both had fish fries. They do a great job of offering a diverse selection of fish bakes and fries. It’s unique and very tasty. They have a good selection of kid friendly items.The service was very friendly and quick. The only downside was that we didn’t check the flyer we got at Bradley Farms before we went! There was a 10% discount in there. Will have to go back and use it for another time.

Best ice cream anywhere! We go in for the Colossal. Delicious and made exactly as you asked. Wonderful place to go. Have eaten dinner there a few times and its like a home cooked meal. I highly recommend this place as date night or family time. Wont regret it 🍴⚘

This place is a really nice family style restaurant and ice cream shop. Ive been there for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner multiple times, and Ive never been disappointed. The service is excellent, theres plenty of seating, and the food is fantastic! Definitely try some of their homemade corned beef hash and breads!

Great staff, friendly. The food was delicious. The cooks work so hard to make the food for all the guests and they do it in a timely manner. A very homey setting. They have the best ice cream in town. I have so many memories of my dad bringing us here every Sunday for ice cream. Oh and there deserts are to die for! Please go and enjoy!

Ordered the Maple Lawn Sundae. It was supposed to have chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, nuts, whipped cream on chosen ice cream flavor. It came with no chocolate or nuts! The house dessert...employee didnt get it right! The dinners are pretty good, otherwise, and service depends on your assigned waitstaff. They serve homemade icecream...cool flavors!

This is a terrific casual restaurant, a local favorite. Wonderful staff and service. Good prices for great food! Save room for ice cream after your meal. Or just stop by for an ice cream to go. Great place!

The food is decent enough at best. The staff are kind so thats a win, however very long wait for food. The last few times our food has been so bland. My kids ordered burgers off three regular menu medium and they were literally overcooked hockey pucks. I ordered a soup and 1/2 sandwich and was kind of thrown off that French onion was like $4 extra when its a regular item. Overall, I felt like I overpaid and its not the first time Ive left feeling frustrated. Its usually on the bottom of our list. I will say they make a delicious haddock broil.

A quaint restaurant that gets a lot of patrons from elmira and Pennsylvania. The food is excellent. Tuesdays is chicken and biscuits superb. My favorite. Their homemade ice cream is out of this world. A must place to stop and enjoy.

My favorite diner in the Southern Tier hands down. This is my familys go to place. Ive been coming here since I was a kid, and now my siblings and I come here on Saturday mornings when we all come home for the weekend, or my friends and I grab lunch here on hot summer days. I had a great first date here with my girlfriend of several years. Its a perfect small town family restaurant with a real homey vibe.

Live in NC but whenever we visit NY we always eat here. Good food and even better ice cream

I have only eaten breakfast here, bunch of times. One of the only places i get the steak and eggs. The steak is a real piece of meat. That is hard to find in a steak & egg breakfast. I have gone to a lot of places steak is a rubber sneaker sole. Again that is not the case here. Wake up on a football Sunday, get steak & egg breakfast go home. Watch football in recliner. That is a perfect winter sunday! And you wont need lunch cause your full.

Dont go there to often but the food is great, servers are real kind. The place has an old feel to it which I really enjoy.

Outstanding experience. When I got there it was about 8ish on a weekday morning and was a little concerned that there was only one staff member working, but after a few minutes of waiting to be seated, the one-woman-army surprised us. She was very polite and friendly. Our order (2 French toast entrees and a Belgian waffle) came very quickly, and OH MY LORD it was delicious. Home made bread for the French toast, and the waggle was perfect. Excellent location for breakfast.

Good chili. Got white bread instead of rye, what I ordered. There was a piece of the lid from the ice cream bucket in my ice cream dish. But the ice cream was good the egg salad sandwich was good but it would have been better on rye. Paula straightened out my rewards account with my current phone #. Got hot water for the organic tea I brought. Waitress was nice.
