An absolute discrace. I arrived 1030 for an 11am appt. At noon I had to leave for a 1230 appt. I was told the wait is over 2hour....90 minutes AFTER I arrived. Good luck with that store.....gonna try my luck elsewhere

In the 15 minutes I waited at the desk, not a single employee came around. I listened to the phone ring unanswered three separate times. And myself and at least one other customer just ended up leaving because there was nobody around. At 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. Terrible (nonexistent) service.

They also told me I needed brakes and showed me proof of it. If I had time I would have done it but I most say this place gets my 5 stars service even if I just got one tire today thank you... 👍👍

If the owner is not on the property, your service may be suspect at best.The front desk has a lot to be desired.Appointments dont guarantee prompt service.A WALK-IN that is just ahead of you to the service desk will have you waiting [extra time to get your car looked at] although your 10 minutes early for you appointment.To the Manager:One of these three days [Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday] should be an Appointment Only Morning.This policy (AOM) should be posted for all customers to see.No walk-ins that morning.

Great experience. Everything was handled very quickly. I went from a call to just get a price quote to same day appointment and service. Eric was an absolute pleasure over the phone and in person. He handled everything, was very clear about pricing and even convinced me to get warranty on everything. This is the kind of person and service you want to be the front and face of your business. Not going back there. I called 1/9 and was told to come in within 45 minutes. I went in as requested and was told to come back the following day as it was too busy, this after having waited for a half hour. But fine, I understand things get busy, appreciated the honesty that they might not get to my car. So I went back the following day, got there before 10am as informed... this time I waited till 11am before giving up. Wouldve gone back but I think Id rather go without tires at this point.

The employees are amazing and educated me on taking care of my car. Fast service: received both brakes done with the rotors, windshield wipers, oil change and inspection of my tire pressure all in a hour. Would highly recommend to get your services done.

I got an oil change for my 2016 Honda Pilot. They used full synthetic oil and charged $60. Every where else was charging at least $90. The oil change lasted 4 months before I received the maintenance required light. This was surprisingly lengthy since I had taken several long distance trips within this time frame. Theyre also a kids area with a large toy box filled with toys to keep the kids quiet while you wait. The employees are nice and work in a timely fashion.

Very quick and prompt service. The staff is very knowledgeable. Dylan did a great job with my car.

Good service! I was in and out for an oil change in less than 30 minutes.

Everytime I have an issue with my car, I take it to Mavis on Hempstead because I know Im putting my vehicle in good hands. They are always so kind and patient. The funny thing is, when I try to explain the issue of my vehicle and use gestures and sounds to explain, they somehow totally understand and then Im so relieved lol. They are very upfront about the amount of time it will take and how much itll run you so that you can be prepared. Theyve never over charged me and the manager Carl calls me to update me on my vehicle every step of the way. This team of auto professionals will always have my business because they are awesome in every way. My car is a 2010 and they have it running like new every time I leave their shop, Thank you guys.

The manager Charles at the Elmont Mavis Tires leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to Customer Service. Four new tires were purchased for my Mercedes Benz C 240 after experiencing a flat. I arrived at the location with the spare tire on the car. Mavis took the spare tire off along with the specific lugs for the spare, but failed to return them to the car. The four new tires were put on using the lugs for those tires. This information was unknown to me until I experienced another flat tire several months later. Upon arrival of the AAA technician to my home to put on the spare, the proper lugs for the spare could not be located anywhere in the car. Aware that the last time the spare was used was at Mavis, I returned there to advise of the issue. The manager was not accepting of his responsibility, but advised he was willing to review his tapes from the date of my last visit. I advised I would be purchasing the needed lugs from Mercedes Benz and would be bring the bill to his location. I have called and returned to the location with the bill from Mercedes Benz for 26.06 for the purchase of the spare tire lugs on several occasions; without success. All of the required information was left for the manager, along with my contact information with no response.Upon my last visit to the location, the manager Charles was present but refused to come to the customer counter during my visit. He had another employee advise me that he was busy and would be with me when he could. After waiting 15 minutes and observing the manager doing nothing, I realized that he had no intention of coming to thecounter and I left the location. When the manger of an establishment refuses to even acknowledge the presence of a customer, it is definitely time to take your business elsewhere. This is my second incident with this manager. I do not know about the services at any other Mavis locations, but I know I would never enter the Elmont location ever again.

Went to this Elmont location and I must say the service was pretty good. As a woman sometimes I don’t understand information about cars. Chuck at the front desk was informative and very patient with me. My car was serviced quickly and efficiently. Employee Eric came out and explained the work that was done. I will definitely be returning for future needs.

Id taken my car to Mavis a couple of weeks ago to get new tires.Charles helped me from start to finish with the process and gave me a great deal on a set of really good tires. They were fast, friendly, clean and professional. I had to bring my car back because I needed new shocks as well but they werent in stock, but once again Charles kept me informed as to when they would be ready. The service was fast and friendly once again. I will be taking my car back for oil changes now too! Great spot!
