The previous owners of my house left a 4 foot panel in the back corner for some reason. Then there was just the stockade fence. I asked that they remove the stockade fence and replace with the white PVC fencing with the woven lattice design, since that is what we had around the rest of the yard. Instead of removing the small 4 foot panel at the end and replacing with a full 8 foot panel they butted up two posts next to each other and installed a second 4 foot panel. See photos. The installers didn’t say anything to me until the work was completed, said they had nothing to do with it and I had to call the office. I called the office and they asked for photos and I sent them in. They said they will have the office supervisor call me back the next day. She did and basically told me I have to pay more money for an additional 8 foot panel plus labor to have the issue remedied. I asked why should I pay for their mistake and she said it wasn’t their mistake. They are not helpful, a little rude and once they know you are calling because you are upset or trying to fix something they don’t answer or give you some line that “that person is not in the office”. Save yourself time and aggravation and hire someone else. Oh and they installed before national grid flagged the property of gas lines, that’s safe.

Liberty Fence recently installed a 6 Infinity Solid fence with Saturn Scallop top (white vinyl) around the perimeter of my property, and I could not be happier with the work. The salesman was timely and easy to work with, the office kept us updated on potential installation dates, and the installers were neat and professional. The job took two full days to complete and it made our property look better than we anticipated. We were so satisfied with the work that we plan to order vinyl railings for our back steps at a later date.After reading many of the reviews online, we were hesitant to use Liberty Fence. However, we did not experience any of the problems that were mentioned in some of these reviews. Many of the negative reviews relate to installations that were delayed for weather during the busiest time of the year. Our installation was rescheduled twice due to rain, which I was very happy about. I did not want my newly laid sod trampled on during the torrential rain we were receiving. Our installation was performed in October so we did not experience any delays. If I purchased the fence in the spring or summer, I would expect to be delayed due to the backlog from other customers. If the company did not have a long list of customers ahead of me, I would probably question the quality of the fence and take my business elsewhere.Overall, my wife and I are very happy with our choice, and we would highly recommend Liberty Fence.

To be honest your service was very appalling. What a horrible experience. In the office theyre very rude and treat the customer terribly. When I made the order I was told the wait time was 3 weeks, the most 4. I have 8 weeks of waiting and no one responded until last week that they let me know my order was ready for pickup finally. On Monday, I was treated terribly when I came in and again today Im being told its not ready. Very terrifying experience. First time ever this happens to me. I thought they were professionals and serious. Worst of all, I asked for my money back and was told to look at the company policies. It states they dont give refunds, I must wait. So anyone who orders a fence from here, be aware you will have to wait until they feel like it or buy a fence elsewhere and lose that money.

Worst customer service ever! Staff was extremely rude and condescending. I asked them for a free estimate a year ago For a renovation during Covid and because I didn’t do the work they won’t come and fix my fence a year later. And I was extremely professional with them but they kept repeating how valuable their time was and the staff kept cutting me off without even letting me talk. Extremely rude stuff!No manners whatsoever!

My wife and I needed to install new railings for stairs at the back of our house. After a great experience with Liberty Fence in 2018, we decided to work with them again. They had a variety of options to choose from (white vinyl, black vinyl, aluminum, steel, etc.) and we settled on the black aluminum railings. The railings are solid, provide added safety, and give a really nice finish to the house. They also match the windows and doors perfectly. The installers had everything finished in one day and they were very neat. We are very pleased with the new railings and we highly recommend Liberty Fence.

I used Liberty after the Hurricane last year, our whole rear and side fence and deck fencing destroyed .Salesman was responsive and Replacement was done for the fence but I had to wait for Deck fencing to be replaced. They explained the material shortage and I understood. They had to cancel an appointment on Deck once and I messed up on 2nd appointment. They came this past friday and finished the Deck. Horrible customer service. They dont provide updates on deliveries. I took off from work and they showed up at 630pm just to collect money when the fence was not installed yet.

I must say the sale rep did a great job explaining in detail about what they were going to do and he listens to what I wanted done. I am extremely happy with the results, my backyard looks great and the price was right. I passed my inspection.

My fence after 6 months started leaning. Numerous calls and run around from this place. They always have a new excuse and refuse to fix my fence. Last message was completely ignored.

Liberty put up my fence around my shed and to fence in my pool filter. We needed a similar fence to what I already had and Liberty came through with the fence and the best price out of the 3 other vendors I looked at. They were prompt, even during these times, they also were extremely clean during and after fence installation. Their workers were kind and friendly as well. I highly recommend Liberty fence and railing!

Had fence installed and was told gate will be installed a week later cause they measure it to spec. salesman Dennis never told me that or I would have waited till pool closed. Gate finally gets installed and was lower then original gate (when I bought a higher fence)weeks later new gate gets installed to match higher fence and they dont come with higher post so once again pool area is not safely secured. A bungee cord was put in place. Another week goes by for post to be installed so pool lock hardware can be installed. It took 3 1/2 months for this to be done .and Im a repeat customer.

Liberty was hired to install vinyl fence and railing throughout my property. They after an extremely long wait installed. Since the installation about a year ago it has never been right. Lots of broken pieces that have never been fixed properly. Every time I call Dennis the salesman comes out and takes pictures and assures me that they will be by to make needed repairs but no one ever shows up! I call again he comes takes more pictures same story no one follows up and nothing gets done. My general contractor who got them the job has called countless times also and nothing gets done. Now they are ignoring me and my contractor. If someone from this company doesn’t come soon to correct these problems they will be hearing from my attorney and be paying me to have another company come fix their screw ups. Very unprofessional only care until they are paid then they disappear! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Very disappointed in Liberty Fence. They brought a wood gate during my installation that was damaged. I called the company right away while they were still doing the installation. They said they would send someone out to fix the problem. MONTHS later I am still waiting, after many many phone calls to the company, they now tell me the gate is not under warranty....Are you kidding me...so disappointed in this company. Sent a long complaint to the Better business bureau. Would not ever recommend this company, because for months they told me they would send someone out to fix the gate. Now they tell me the gate isn’t under warranty....shame on you Liberty Fence.

When installing a railing on my steps leading up to my front door they CRACKED my paving stone. The issue was pointed out right away and they agreed to fix it. I was told they will send someone out to fix it. I have called several times. At first they said they are backed up due to covid, each time they were unable to give me a date of when it can get done. Each time they just took my info and said they would reach out. I asked for a manager on a few occasions and was denied each and every time!! I want my stones fixed. They damaged it and now leaving me hanging!!! Its been months of this.

Nice fence. Worked quickly but Liberty left a gap between the fence and my neighbors house just big enough for their dog to get through. When I called about it I was told that ot was not their problem (paraphrasing) and that I should stick a brick in it.

I have put down payment 3 months ago with Manager Rita. So far they have not installed it. I called multiple times and went to the office multiple times, more than 20 times, they never call me back. I spoke to Toni and Anastasia and they also never callMe back. I requested many times to speak to the owner but they will not let me. I filed charge back with credit card company for my money to be return. I am requesting all of you to stay away from this Compnay.

So homeowners, like myself, would need to do due diligence to pick the right (perfect) one that fits their need, when it comes to cost, quality, and service. After I interviewed about 10 companies in 5 months and Im glad to have picked Liberty Fence for my 6 PVC privacy fence and aluminum gate. I selected them since i see their work all over the neighborhood and it all looks great. they responded very quickly to a minor issue after installation and corrected it. I had Liberty Fence install my fence about 2 months ago; the installation was perfect but due to the fence/gate settling in, there were some adjustments needed. The owner ended up coming over for the adjustments and I really liked to that - gave me the impression that he was doing quality control over any issues costumers were having. Only placed a star so I can do a review. This company wasted my time during a critical time. My house was damage during a terrible storm and the fence needed repairs. Called first thing in the morning and spoke to a lady who explained to me I needed to send pictures to the companies email address.Fine, after doing this I waited and waited until later late afternoon I reach the lady again who seems to not recall our talking earlier nor has anyone viewed my emails (sent 2 copies). After asking to be contacted for an estimate (again) for my fence she stated that someone will be calling.At 9pm!I get a voicemail because my phones on a break since I figured all (Fence) businesses are closed. It’s some tech from Liberty Fence leaving a message. At this point I was done and moved on. I returned the call and left a voicemail about why am I being finally contacted late a night for fence work? Never even heard back from them. This company is unprofessional and that’s being nice.

Worst company ever! Installed 2 months after the promised time. People at the office are the most unprofessional bunch. Showed no care and would not return my deposit even after 3 months of waiting. The only reason Im giving two stars is because of the professionalism of their salesman Don, competitive prices and the physical quality of the product they install. As for their service and care of the customer I would give zero Stars if possible. I had my fence installed well over a year ago. Since day one I was having trouble with two of the gates closing. One of the gates after about 2 weeks of waiting was fixed. The front gate that goes out to the street has been an ongoing issue since its installation. The company has been by a minimum of four times to readjust it and I have readjusted it at least six times myself. As I have stated many times to the company, the door is too big for the size of the opening. About a month-and-a-half ago I started calling again to have this corrected for the last time and placed about five phone calls and never received a call back. After hounding them and explaining to them that I am very worried about my dog getting out and hit by a car as the door needs to be forcefully closed as well as forcefully opened (and contacting don the salesman who got back to me immediately when service issues is not his job. Im sure he had a hand in why they finally contacted me), they sent over a service person a week later. A week later, I had to call them to see if they were going to do anything about it and they stated over the phone that the door is too big and needs to be cut down, as I have been stating since its installation. I just called today, a week later, to see when theyre going to come and take the door and they said someone will call me to set up a visit in about a week. There is no doubt in my mind I will not be getting a call in a week. I feel after they got their thousands of dollars when the fence was installed, they could care less about the finished product and the satisfaction/safety/welfare of its customers that the fence is supposed to protect. Almost a year and a half later, I do not have a functional product, and liberty fence is clearly in no rush to correct the service they provide. I highly encourage you to seek other competitors and read their reviews as well.

Liberty installed my fence about 15 years ago and did a good job. called them back a few months ago, the sales person is arrogant and has a pushy attitude. . we got a few more prices when we called them back same sales person same arrogant and has a pushy attitude. and they are 3 weeks late. No Phone call, No apology. i called the office and the girl said she would call me back in a couple of hours. First a couple is TWO, second that was yesterday morning (around 9:30). i am giving them one star because BBB site does not have negative stars. i would rate them F-. when i originally called them a few yeas back to repair my fence they never came this time i told them i wanted a new fence and they showed up. so if you need repair call and act like a new customer (they have poor record keeping).

Full service and commitment to quality!From the original consultation to a completed job in a couple of weeks. Their sales rep actual talked me out of a more expensive product and Im glad I listened to him. They installed a 6 foot tall privacy fence around my property and it was done perfectly. The installers had a level with them at all times and were meticulous about making sure all posts were straight and above grade. Job well done and in under budget.

They made schedules two days before and after schedule time expired no one showed up, they called me and said they wanted to make another schedule. This is the worst experience I had.........

Worst fence company ever! I called them to enlarge a gate at my home. Liberty installed the original fence so it made sense to use them. I should have known better after the headache of trying to get an estimate. After weeks of calls, I finally got an estimate with Tommy who was great. I gave him a deposit. They could not give me for my gate no matter whom I spoke to. I asked to return my deposit and they said I lost that right after 3 days even though they cant give me a date to install. I finally get a date, and they call to cancel due to rain and reschedule. This gait was holding up my other backyard projects because I needed a larger gate for equipment. I received an estimate for an install within 2 weeks, and a larger gate for $200 less and Liberty would not give me my deposit. It took 6 weeks to get them here. Then they sent the nastiest installers that only cared about the money. I wouldnt trust them again. Ive filed with better business and today will file with consumer affairs. They have backhanded sneaky practices to lock you in and then leave you high and dry for weeks on end. Dont use them.

My experience with Liberty Fence and their service keeps getting better each time I call. I thought my son broke the lock on one of my fence doors and I called the owner to send someone to repair it. Saturday morning the owner himself shows up to fix it, the fence lock turned out to have never been broken and it was fine all along. I myself was embarrassed but he didnt seem to mind at all, we chatted for a bit and he went on his way. Most companies would charge for a call to come like this. Their service is second to none and I would highly suggest if you need fencing to call them. I did my research, they are the best.

Liberty just completed a commercial job for me,consisting of over 400 of fencing with 4 gates. Everything was perfect I am very happy with the project.

This company lacks all forms of customer service skills. Signed a contract with them on May 10, 2013 for an 8 foot section of fence to be installed, a very small project for them! They promised me it would be installed no later than June 5, 2013. We made several phone calls to them to determine the appointment date with no luck. Our salesman Dennis refused to help us at all after we signed the contract. June 5th came and went and still no fence. Their is a provision in the contract that says they have 30 days after the install by date to install our fence in the event there is inclement weather. Well it is now 50 days after my install by date and I still have no fence! The office keeps giving me the same run around about inclement weather but they have broken their own contract! I have already contacted the BBB (they havent responded to the BBB either, surprise, surprise) and I am now going to get my lawyer involved as they already took my money. Avoid this company at all costs!

They push how great their warranty is.A year after install issues have come up due to poor install.Contacted in the spring and made countless calls and sent a number of emails. When you first call, they send a wonderful salesperson who promises you the world and once they have your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, he will never call you back.I called the office six times before I got a call back. Despite the salesperson telling me I would have the fence within 4 weeks, it took over two months. Then the installers showed up HOURS past the scheduled time. Next you have to wait one week to get your gates installed. I tried three times for an appointment and it took 2-1/2 weeks. Really bad customer service.

They are flat out dishonest about their turnaround time.Mine was a pretty small job, partial fence replacement and installing two gates. The salesman promised us 4-5 weeks, maybe 6 weeks max. He put 6 weeks on the contract just to be safe as he stated. That was on July 2. They didnt install the fence until mid-September, and the gates until the end of September. So it took them actually 10-11 weeks, almost double the time.No one ever called to offer any apologies for the delay or offer any type of discounts for breaking the 6 weeks on their own contract, I actually had to call them every time to get updates. Im sure if a customer broke the contract and refused to pay the full amount as they didnt honor the turnaround time listed, they would go bonkers. They made excuses like weather problems pushed everyone back on their queue list, which I didnt really understand as a business practice. Why not just reschedule the people on the day of the weather problem instead of pushing everyone back? In any case, I had assumed they factored in any type of routine delays from the weather when their salesman said 6 weeks max and put 6 weeks on the contract just to be safe.Worst part was they already took one-third deposit when you sign the contract. If they were honest about their turnaround time from the beginning, I may have considered other companies which may have been a little more expensive but can deliver quicker. Unfortunately, due to the deposit, I was stuck waiting for almost 3 months for this small job.Note that I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because the installers were nice to deal with and the materials seem sturdy, time will tell how durable it is (god forbid if something breaks, who knows how long you may wait to get a repairman out). I also was aware of the gap in time between the fence/posts installation and the gates installation, I liked and wanted this as thats the proper way to do it. Most other companies wanted to do gates and posts on the same day, not recommended.But I will not be recommending them to any friends or anyone else due to their poor turnaround time and inability to honor their own contract. The labor and materials seem okay, and the pricing is competitive, so if youre willing to sit around for up to 3 months or more, give them your business at your own risk.

Terrible experience and I still dont have a fence! I have never had a company deal with their customers with such dishonesty and lack of respect. I should have known when Dennis, their salesperson, told me he makes up his own prices for profit (yet, it was cheaper than Rose, Amendola etc so I went with it but now I know why, because you never get a product!). I was told I would have my fence by May 30! Today is July 1 and they just called to reschedule my installation again for the 4th time! Every time I ask to speak to a manager, they say they dont have one there and they refuse to release the name of any managers. One employee, Kevin, initially refused to give me his name and said why is it any of your business what my name is?. He eventually gave it to me. He was no help, rude and just yelled at me and eventually told me to call back another time and talk to a different employee. Then another time I spoke to Rita, who also was no help. Then between May 21 and June 24, I left 7 voicemails for Yvette who never called me back until June 24, when she told me she was cancelling my appointment and the only way I got that appointment was by going in person and demanding it, which meant nothing because they cancelled it. They already deposited my $1,400 deposit, but I will fight to get that back because they dont deserve a penny of mine! I strongly advise people to stay away from this company. If somehow they make up for all the trouble they put me through, I will update this review and let everyone know.

Anyone you speak with at this company is a Liar. I called my salesperson, Don (complete flake) a number of times after we signed our contract in May... still waiting for his phone call... tried to cancel, they told me I cant and wont give back my $1000 deposit. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Do NOT use or trust this company!!

I had very very very bad experience with using this company, customer service was extremely unprofessional, the lady who took my order lied on me the whole time, every time Im calling she makes up stories, I feel sorry I used them for my fence, ended up using different company to finish my work, speaking to I believe he was the owner or manager in the office about how bad I was treated by this lady, he was no help at all, I felt bad all the time, I will never ever ever recommend this company to no body what so ever .bad customer service, unprofessional and lie these are all about this company.such a harbor experience dealing with all people working in this company, specifically this lady working in the office in Meacham Ave .

I had a pvc railing done on my house in east meadow about 10 yr ago by liberty fence so over the years the railing nut inside the post came loose so I called them they told np sir well take care of it and they showed up well I was at work and took care of it great company and staff thanks,dan

I have to admit I talked my wife into using this company because I saw their signs on other fences. I wish that I had spoke to the other homeowners, because they would tell me what Im telling you. DONT USE LIBERTY FENCE!!! We paid more, expected more, and got LESS. Much much less. We ordered a basic fence, nothing fancy. we were told it would be 3 weeks. It took 7 weeks!! We were told they would be here at 9, the SUBCONTRACTOR WITH DAY LABORERS showed up after 12pm. Then proceeded to eat lunch. On our manicured lawn! I called to mention this to the company, and got an attitude. I took the day off from work for what reason??? It just seems like at the company, from sales person to office to installer, theres no communication. Finally, somewhere around 130pm, and totally aggravated by the company and my wife, they got to work. They took down the old fence, damaged my bushes, then somehow managed to destroy my mothers family heirloom roses :( We couldnt believe it. The fence went up and i called the company to get compensated in some way for what happened, but they wouldnt help at all. They kept repeating that its in the contract that they are not responsible. Thats pretty obvious in retrospect! In the contract doesnt replace family memories. So we went back and forth for 3 hours. The owner of the company wouldnt get on the phone. But the office staff didnt manage to tell us, get this, that even though we made a deal to pay by credit card, we had to pay the balance in cash otherwise they were not going to install our gates (which we found out would be in 7 days, we have 2 dogs!!!) because of the issues that went on at our house. These things were there fault and we had to pay the price?? Not to mention the poor job by their installers, lack of communication and a salesperson no where to be found after taking our money and an absentee owner. 10 days later, our gates went up. Then one of them broke 2 months later nd the company wanted almost $300 to fix. what happened to our warranty? Do yourself a favor. read reviews at all sources (beware of too many positive reviews in quick timeframe!), research and knock on doors to get the truth. I wish there were zero stars.
