What’s in the box?this one goes down in the “it’s a rough job but someone has to do it” category. I wanted to give Suzin L. Chocolatier a shout out. ( although I am cheating on my friends at Fear’s Chocolates) To adequately convey how good things are here, I had to try LOTS of items.My favorites were the milk chocolate-covered whole cashews. So large and so smooth. My son’s favorites are the milk chocolate-covered cherries / cherry cordials. We also got the Milk Chocolate-covered Strawberries, Milk Chocolate Pretzel Bars, Salted Caramels and Milk Chocolate Non-Pariels. It was a milk-chocolate fest!! they have two locations - one in Elyria and one in Amherst.yum

If you love chocolate this is the place to be. Suzin has been around for over 30 years. Located in downtown Elyria. As you enter the aroma hits you right in the face . They have a great variety and nice boxed candy for any occasion. Suzin is known for their chocolate covered strawberry that will steal tour wife, girlfriend or moms’ heart. Best chocolate in Ohio and, in my opinion, most if the country. We travel frequently and always look for specialty chocolate shops. Have yet to find one that tops Suzin Ls. My only suggestion would be that they have a better way to keep track of my points because I always leave my punch card at home in Texas. I ordered several pounds delivered last Easter for our baskets. Thats our newest tradition.

Is a wonderful place. If you cant find what youre looking for then you dont have a sweet tooth. Ive been going there for over 35 yrs and they dont disappoint. Their melt-aways are heavenly. I think the peanut butter is the best. And the chocolate covered strawberries are the best on the planet. I almost always stop by when Im in town.

Whenever visiting family, I make sure to stop by three (or four) times. Its the best chocolate Ive ever eaten; their meltaways in particular are absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, too.

Great chocolate. Nice variety. There were items for Halloween Ive never seen elsewhere.

They gave me some info on the history of the place and pointed out some things I might like based on my normal chocolate preferences, and I will say that what I got there is just AWESOME! My wife and I are very impressed with the quality of products from Suzin L! Super helpful staff, the whole bit, just great!

Best milk chocolate and white chocolate Ive ever had! Never tried the dark chocolate because Im not a fan of it. Its so creamy and better than Malleys. Definitely my go to place for a chocolate.

One of Elyrias hidden treasures! Started as a home business by the original Suzin L, it has blossomed into a major purveyor of fine chocolates. And they are indeed fine; their chocolate has a creamy, melt-in-the-mouth smoothness that I find particularly appealing. I always give boxes of their cherry cordials to family and friends at Christmastime, and bunnies, eggs, and other items at Easter (including more cordials!). Strawberries hand-dipped in chocolate are also available when in season, as well as a wide variety of other tasty items.

Have been enjoying Suzin L chocolates for over 20 years. Best chocolate ever, and Ive tried many others. Freshest chocolate covered strawberries I have ever had (they pick only the best strawberries), great selections on gummy candies and truffles too. I absolutely love their melt aways! They have good sales after the larger holidays too for any leftover holiday decorated candies. The Amherst location is smaller and has less of a selection, so I suggest shopping at the Elyria location or online.

Ive been purchasing CHOCOLATES from Suzin L for over thirty years. Our children grew up on this chocolate...especially in their Easter baskets. To this day...no other chocolate compares. Those children now live in Atlanta and Honolulu, and often CHOCOLATES are carried on the plane to their delight...as well as neighbors. Aside from the famous, chocolate covered strawberries, try the sea turtles. THEY disappear quickly. There is NOT a confection in the store that you will not like: TOP QUALITY!

The best!!! I can not say enough about their customer service and of course the chocolate is to die for. My 97 year old grandmother, who lives in Elyria, sent her 77 year old son, my dad, a special box from Suzin, we live in Florida. My dad is in a nursing home and the box went missing when it was delivered to the front desk. But with help from EVERYONE at Suzin L Chocolatier, they were so patient and helpful, the box was located and the mystery of the missing chocolate was solved! It was under the front desk. If you want to deal with a great hometown business, this one is a gem!
