Rural Kings are awesome. We were there installing cabling and cameras. The store manager Makayla and her staff was amazing to work with. Going back for a final install. Great store to for almost all your needs great prices. Very friendly highly recommend. God bless and have an amazing day.

Good store in the area. Have a decent amount of clothing for work and prices aren’t too steep. Plenty of things in there to get you by.

Wow!!!A new manager has made some BIG changes over there! Newly paved the parking lot, the huge potholes are gone. Store is cleaner and better organized! Remodeled restrooms too! Kudos!

The remodel is coming along quite nicely, the parking lot has been paved and restriped, the building has been painted, the restrooms (at least the mens) has been refinished, the aisles are becoming cleaner and more organized (still some work to be done), the checkout stations have been revamped and one of the biggest upgrades so far is, The C.C. Readers Actually work properly now!!

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of merchandise from food for rabbits, ducks and geese and horses to having baby chicks and rabbits. They also have a good selection of farm equipment as well as clothing. They could work on the cleanliness of their bathrooms but otherwise a great store!

They give out free dog treats! I would totally recommend this place for you and your doggo. Great deals and service. Would totally recommend.

Always a good selection of clothing, sporting goods and farm needs. Theyre a no frills store. Its basically a Walmart for rural communities, thus the name.Was able to find a good selection of ammo at reasonable prices. Sadly, the casualty of Covid is the lack of a free popcorn as you enter the store. 😪😪The major flaw of the store is the parking lot. It needs to be repaired, repaved and relined.It doesnt promote easy parking and their customers arent very good at it.

On going mouse issue in store. Pretty much guaranteed any feed you buy will be damaged. Diferent feed prices on different shelves same feed.

Always a good experience coming to rural king. Staff is usually friendly. My kids love checking out the bunnies and the chicks while were here.

Almost always have what I am looking for. such a awesome store with a large variety of items. staff is typically very polite and helpful. Only single negative I could say is there is a gentleman that works at the gun counter that isnt only slow but isnt able to multi task and help people even if he is sitting there while someone fills out their background check form etc. still hands down recommend and will continue to go there.

I went there to shop for nesting swings. I put two in my cart and the rest of the swings started to fall. So I moved three more swings so they didnt fall over on me. Inventory really needs to be displayed safer.

This store has improved the cleanliness and general housekeeping drastically from a year ago. It is now a pleasant place to shop.

Prices not always easy to spot since items are not individually marked. And some not priced at all.Some sections of store hard to locate (seasonal, for example).

Clean store and helpful associates. Registers are always quick to get through. Baby chicks always in stock 🥰 and manager specials are usually pretty good.

The last 3 times we bought ducks or chickens from here they have died, we got 12 ducks this last round and 5 died. They do not have anyone on staff that really knows about the feeds or proper care for the animals. I was really disappointed by the lack of knowledge. I trusted that they would guide me as I was a new owner to ducks. They told me medicated feed was good for them and we had 5 birds died 😟

This last time i went in was great but the guy that was at the gun counter not the older guy thats usually in there must of been off because i talked to a younger guy that talked about his guns and prices of his guns more then actually helped people with questions i planed on buying a gun there i have a few guns and was looking to buy one and he act like he just wasnt trying to sell anyone anything as far as guns i feel like he should be in another department like stock or somewhere like that and he was very judgemental in the way he talked i had enought money on me to buy just about any gun in the store and i feel like because i had just got off work and was dirty i was treated like i was broke he wasnt helpful on anyway and he seemed to be to busy to help me i wont be buying guns from rural king as long as services are like they were

Everytime I online order for in-store pick up it is never ready! Not sure why this happens, but its frustrating. They have the cheapest bottled water around, which is why I go!

Prices are great, service is good. However, the place just looks like stuff is thrown around. Skids are all over the floor instead of put away, stuff isnt put away thats off the skids. It just looks bad. Im not sure if theyre short-handed or not, but the store needs tidied up.

Hilsbrothers coffee we get there is yummy and has a great taste its a great place to get what ever else u need the workers there are kind and helpful

I ordered a log splitter on line. Called Elyria store and waited a half hour for them to confirm it was in stock. Was told it was in stock and could pick up the next day. I drive over an hour to pick up and was told they didnt have it! Outright lied to me about my order. Will never shop this dump again.

I generally like Rural King however they constantly lose sales because they dont have things priced there is no where to scan it and its hard to find an employee to ask. I dont put something in my cart if i dont know how much it costs. I mention this everytime Im there and it never changes. I spent fifty today could have been 300. Im estimating of course because those items didnt have prices. Also seems like a lot of their prices have gone up.

Its a good place to shop for grain and fun stuff. I try not to go often because I want to buy everything.

Ive edited my review. I used to enjoy shopping this store with its flea market atmosphere. Used to shop near weekly. But recently the store is an absolute mess. There is NOTHING on the shelves, and tall unsafe pallets of freight EVERYWHERE, with animal faces on them. They obviously have a rodent problem too. Most employees are very nice, some have no clue where products are. Many empty shelves. Not sure what the problem is lately, maybe need to hire more people to get the products off the pallets and on the shelves. Sorry but rating went from a 5 star to a 2.

Just called this store 3 times at 9:49am 4/13/21 & somebody picked up the phone and hung up. Every single time. ???? Im about to drive there and see the kid who thinks this is good customer service.
