They installed a new oil tank and removed the old tank. They were timely, professional, and knowledgeable. I shopped around A LOT and they were by far the best company in regards to price and integrity. Many other companies I had received quotes from lied about building codes and requirements. (I confirmed this was the city.) Would 10/10 recommend Harned!

Was looking for an oil provider who did both oil delivery and service. Found this company on-line. Read the reviews and made the call. I have not been disappointed. Everyone I have had the opportunity to interact with has been very customer friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.Mark C came out to clean my boiler. It’s an older Dynatherm and he didn’t even flinch. Other companies I have engaged to clean my boiler have looked at it with dread and have even had to call in “specialists”. Prior to starting the cleaning, Mark took the time to make sure the heat was working in all the various zones - so I wouldn’t need to make a future service call. Turns out there were issues. He got that all straightened out and proceeded to clean the boiler. He patiently explained everything that needed to be done. Honestly, I always watch as technicians clean my boiler. He replaced filters I have never seen replaced before. He also took the time to tell me various things to watch - just in case they might need to be replaced.My entire experience with this company has been extremely positive.

Jarred was great. Very friendly, courteous, and professional. I feel so bad because our system did not have a lockout feature and we werent aware that you shouldnt prime it more than three times. Jarred had to deal with the result of that and he still maintained the demeanor he walked in with.

A crew from Harned Durham removed our old heat pump and oil boiler replacing them with a new gas furnace and heat pump. They were prompt, very professional, personable, and efficient. The Bryant central A/C installed around mid-April 2019 was a replacement for a 30 year old Kenmore still in excellent condition but very noisy. Jared and his assistant whose name I unfortunately forgot were very professional, extremely efficient and very courteous. We had to wait until May 2nd, a warm day (83F), to test the newly installed system. The unit is so quiet we are not even aware that it is operating and provided a comfortable 72F in a record time. Fabulous customer service! When our central AC unit literally burst and spewed freon gas and oil on a Saturday evening, they were johnny on the spot. A service technician came out on that Saturday evening for an initial assessment. And by Monday afternoon, another service technician arrived to provide a full assessment and a quote to replace the unit. The best part was that since they were not available for another week to complete the work due to other commitments, they installed portable window units in all of our bedrooms, at no additional charge. After the tune up, my oil furnace its consuming much more oil than before...they install smaller nozzle than the manufacturers burner recommended settings and after that .. changing to original nozzle, but my furnace its consuming a lot anyways...im was looking to make fuel economy and i get the inverse....very disappointed...make yourself a favor....look for a serius oil company!!!!
