This is MY shoe store! For the past 10 or so years I get all my shoes here. And haven’t had sore feet since. Podiatrist recommended Footwear Etc back then. The salespeople are very knowledgeable & the selection is awesome.

I was very excited to find the store that is hidden in a little shopping center in Encinitas. I was referred by a podiatrist and it was the best referral ever. I bought a pair of slippers that I can wear all day long like shoes theyre so comfortable an offer me support in the arch of the shoe. I am about to buy another pair because the first ones are so good

The staff at the Encinitas store is professional and caring. They arranged my online order to be delivered to their store so I could pick them up without driving to the Mission Hills location. They did not hesitate to help me. Very courteous and gracious attitude in the staff and the store has a positive vibe!

I bought my first pair of Birkenstock sandals from Barbara at the Encinitas store! What a great experience. If I had just gone online I would not have had the benefit of her expertise and personal attention and I seriously doubt I could have gotten the perfect fit on my own.. We had to choose the size (38 or 39), the material (leather or synthetic), footbed (soft or hard) and width (medium or narrow). Barbara was delightful and did a great job of explaining everything. Footwear Etc. stands apart from the self-help, big box franchises peddling disposable fashion. The team at Footwear Etc. Encinitas is committed to customer service and quality footwear. I happened to call the store half an hour before closing for the 4th of July holiday asking if they had stock of a particular pair of non-slip shoes needed for a job. Sandra answered happily and went above and beyond to have shoes waiting in the right size when I arrived. That level of service is a rarity these days and is so greatly appreciated. Thank you, Sandra!!For those concerned about the cost of shoes sold at Footwear Etc., bear in mind you will buy one pair of shoes at Footwear Etc. that will last several years versus spending a fraction of the cost at big box franchises that last a fraction of the time and result in foot and back problems. The shoes sold at Footwear Etc. enable people to be comfortable on their feet all day. That value is priceless.

Sandra was great! Ive had a ton of fittings before but this was the best Ive had - she had an elegant combination of exchanging pleasantries and getting down to business A++

My old pair of SuperFeet flip flops where WORN out and are no longer available. Sandra helped me find something new that would work and was very knowledgeable about all the different brands. Great experience!!

Love, Love, Love this place. The shoes...OMGosh they just help to make you feel like a new person. The manager Barbara is so knowledgeable about which products are best for your feet and also in her familiarity with where the shoe/ sandal/ boot was made, what materials your getting and even which ones are waterproof suited for your adventurous side. I am never able to leave without buying 2 pair and oftentimes wanting more!! Her and her staff are very open and friendly, yet diligent in following all safety protocols to ensure your shoe buying experience is one you will enjoy!!!❤

I will be 70 years old in a couple of months, its been many years since Ive visited a shoe store with the kind of personal service and attention to the customer that I experienced as a Young Man.I left the store and sat in my car without buying anything. There had been no pressure whatsoever from Barbara or anybody in the store. Then something made me go back into the store and purchase one of the pairs of shoes that Id been shown.Great store, great staff. Ill be going back!

The first pair of shoes I bought here didn’t work out and were causing my feet to have issues with ingrown nails and just pain in general. I brought them back and Barbara was able to help me find a pair that are really comfortable for my feet as well as some insoles that actually work. I have always hated insoles but she showed me some that stay in place and provide great support for my super high arched feet. She explained a bit about the brands and overall left feeling like the product fit my foot and was great quality.

BEST SHOE STORE AROUND! My wife and I have bought all our footwear needs at any one of the Footwear Etc locations in San Diego in recent years. This Encinitas location is closest to home now so we dropped by here today looking for comfortable quality shoes for my wife...at least a couple of pair for casual and business purposes. Sales assistant Cynthia looked after us from the get go and we must have driven her almost crazy with the number of different shoes my wife needed to try out. In the end it came down to 3 styles from 3 different brands. Too hard to separate so we bought all 3. Throw in a cute pair of socks and it came to around $370 for the lot. Great quality comfortable shoes and terrific patient service from Cynthia made it all worthwhile !

Thrilled theyve opened in Encinitas! There is such a thing a comfortable good shoes that are cute! Must visit if youve had foot surgery or have bad feet. No more sacrificing style for comfort and arch support!

The sales person/ manager was very attentive and knowledgeable. She helped me find the shoes that fit well and even had tips on how to improve the fit of the smaller foot. I bought 3 pairs of pretty and comfortable shoes. Thank you Footwear, Etc.

Been buying my shoes for work here for a couple of years. Staff is friendly and helpful . Don’t try to sell you stuff you don’t need.

They have good shoes and some cute styles but alas the staff is not as knowledgeable as foot solutions I guess it is meant for different needs
