They did have the car for over a week and I didnt hear back for awhile but so far it was worth the wait. Having the team at Toy-Auto Masters looking after my 2002 Sienna and 2008 Prius has been life-changing. I love my older model vehicles, and it would be financially difficult to replace them, so I want them to run forever. I have finally found the guys that can make that happen! Dave and Jay have gone out of their way (aka to the salvage yard on a weekend to find an obscure part) to take care of me and my vehicles. They fixed two non-functional doors on my Sienna that other mechanics couldnt even get open, which was nothing short of a miracle for me. They dont try to sell you things you dont need, and they have repeatedly told me where I can hold off on certain repairs without sacrificing safety... and they do it promptly, with a smile, and at very reasonable prices.I now have something I never thought I would about my older cars, peace of mind! Because while I cant diagnose and fix the issues that come up with my vehicles myself, I trust that Dave and Jay are giving me honest recommendations and if it can be fixed, it will be... and it will be done right. This used to be a 5 star place: very helpful, communicative, quality work…the kind of place that demonstrated they’d rather have a long term customer than make a quick buck.Now? Very different.Make an appointment days out, then get a cal the day before that they overbooked and need to reschedule. Drop of the car first thing in the morning, and they won’t even look at it for a day or two. Calls and messages go unanswered. If they do look at it, the diagnosis is wrong and/or the repair doesn’t hold.What happened???
This is hands down probably the best auto repair shop. Jay was extremely hospitable and seemed like he genuinely loves to help everyone. They fixed my problem and had my car running smooth as butter. I even got a follow up text a few days later from Dave, the owner, to make sure all was good. I will never take my car anywhere else!

Customer service and quality went downhill fast!!!Im not sure whats going on with the guys at Toy-Auto but after using them for several years I had enough bad experiences this summer that I strongly dont recommend them.My 4runner was stolen back in June and I decided to get an older land cruiser as a replacement. Ive been using Toy-auto for basic maintenance on the 4runner so I checked with them on working on the land cruiser and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about. But heres a list of the things that happened since July:Inspected the vehicle, replaced the distributor, did some other minor fixes. One week later the accessory belts snap and take out a coolant line leaving me stranded on 285.I fixed the belts myself but couldnt find the coolant leak so I took it back. They fixed the hose but it took them most of the week and they wouldnt return my calls for several days. I had to go to the shop to find out what they were doing. Then, a day after I picked it up another coolant hose broke off leaving me stranded again. I fixed this one myself.Since then, its just been a comedy of errors and them not fixing things:They fixed the seat gears only to have them stop working a couple days later.They fixed the automatic door lock but it didnt even work when I picked it up.They rebuilt the front wheel bearings and one of them is already leaking.Finally, the last straw was after the power steering failed. Dropped it off to get it fixed and they called me the same afternoon to tell me what I already knew - needed a power steering pump. They were also going to reorder the door lock actuator and seat gears. But they didnt have an estimate and said theyd call me back. They NEVER called me back. I called them once the next day, three times the second day, and finally just went there to take my car back on Friday. It was in the exact same condition - no power steering, broken seat gears, and broken door locks.In response, all they said is: sorry weve been busy
I have been going to Toy Auto Masters for 15 years and I buy new vehicles based on them being able to work on them (Toyota or Lexus really). Love them! I will go here as long as they are in business! I recommend them to as many people as I can as well.
A friend of mine with an early 00s 4Runner once told me he had a shop he loved that refused to advise him to do some service that the Toyota dealer had recommended; said it wasnt necessary and took the time to explain the context and why it was okay to wait, but also why the dealer had said what they had. That kind of communication and honesty brought me in the door and Ive brought my little Scion here ever since. One of my best experiences was needing new tires and Dave taking the time to explain the tradeoffs of all the different tire type and advising me to get the cheapest based on my needs - love that honesty! Im a big communicator and its important to me to understand whats happening. If thats you, this is definitely the place.Im leaving Denver soon and its going to be tough to find this kind of service elsewhere - its the kind of auto shop that inspires faith in people doing good work (😮).
This shop is the best! Jay and Dave are such great guys! Very genuine and straight to the point. My boyfriend and I go to them with both of our Toyota’s every time. Wouldn’t trust anyone else except these guys. Also, Matt the technician is very good at what he does. My boyfriend is pretty picky about who touches his truck but Matt always does a great job!

Once I find a good mechanic I stick with them! A good friend recommended these folks and she was right. You can expect friendly service and super fair pricing. You can also expect to kinda have to call them to find out if your car is done because they’re super duper busy, but the quality of their work and the price cannot be beat. They’re not out to take advantage, just doing good business.
Bought a 2000 Toy4Runner in 05 with 111,000 miles. Ive been driving 45 minutes across town to Toy-Auto Masters for regular maintenance and oil changes for 12 years. Thanks to owner Dave and his talented and professional crew, I now have 270,000 miles on my car and so far shes running strong.If you are female as am I, rest assured ladies, they wont sell you stuff you dont need!

Everyone here is amazing! I’ve taken two vehicles to this shop and Iwill continue to bring my vehicles here. Jay was so helpful and nice! These guys are great! I trust them to take care of 3 cars for me (2 Lexus and 1 Toyota). They are always fair on price for repairs and they do great work. Super disappointed. Ive taken a couple cars here and had pleasant experiences in the past, not this time. I work at the local Toyota dealer and wanted to give the local guy my business instead. I took my daughters Tacoma to have a single brake light replaced and a broken door handle replaced. I dropped it at 8am. I went back at 4pm to check status as nobody answered the phone after ten tries. I get to the shop and they didnt do either item I dropped the car for. Thats right, no brake light, no door handle. Instead they decided to replace some random running lights, not by request, a decision they made on their own without my permission, and in the process managed to break the assembly and now the light is dangling from the car by the wire with broken clips they mustve broken putting it back together. Secondly they disconnected the battery, lost the bar that holds battery in place and broke the ground wire and now the car wont even start while still at the shop. They fixed that all up and now the car doesnt idle almost at all. They said it would self remedy after 15 minutes, well it didnt. Remind you, this isnt even on the docket of what I dropped the car off for. Why they were messing around under the hood is maddening. The car leaves Monday for cross country trip and now Im left alone to fix the additional issues this shop created. Then the very young mechanic wanted to blame the issues on being understaffed. I wish Id have known as I wouldnt just taken it to the Toyota shop if Id have known. Jay was on vacation and the rest of the staff completely dropped the ball.

They have an awesome pre purchase inspection program at a great price. When it’s all said and done they don’t try to push any costly repairs or unnecessary billing on you - just the facts and no BS. Had an appointment this morning never used Toyauto before. Needed a wiper blade motor checked out. It was grinding off and on. They checked it out put some lubricant. They will check on the part and let me know. Did not charge me at all. This is so refreshing not to be ripped off. My son actually recommended this place. I have a 1989 Toyota pickup. It still runs but that is because of Toy-Auto Masters. Dave and the crew. I have had just about all of the repairs you could have done on a car. I have used them for 25 to 28 years and I have never regretted it. They are Master technicians and they will treat you right!!!!My strong recommendation is that you not go anywhere else except to Toy-Auto Masters in Englewood, Colorado. Jay and Dave are sincere, honest, empathetic, and caring business owners. They truly live the golden rule with their business, which embodies my experience with Toy Auto Masters. I had a persistent exhaust leak that they resolved for me. I had to bring my Land Cruiser back a couple of times, and they performed work above and beyond what was invoiced to ensure that the problem was resolved once and for all. They are the real deal, and treat you exactly how you want to be treated. Theyve earned my business eternally; as long as I have my Land Cruiser, they will be the ones to maintain it. As we know, Land Cruisers never die, so Im sure that they will be maintaining my Land Cruiser for decades to come.
Great people but more importantly they know how to work on Toyotas. My 1986 LandCruiser isnt easy to work on and they were capable of diagnosing the issue and doing the work! I took this to a dealership and went to other shops before I found them and they were not capable of helping me or wanted to but really did not have experienced techs that could diagnose the problems. I strongly recommend Toy-Auto!!!.

The mechanics at Toy Auto Masters are honest, straightforward, and competent. I have taken my truck to a lot of different shops, but feel most comfortable when I leave my truck here. Dave does an excellent job giving tailored recommendations to my situation and takes the time to explain problems and the best solutions in an easy to understand way. This is the place to go for honest mechanics and excellent service.
Cannot say enough about Jay and Dave. I live no where near this shop but my engine light came on and saw their sign on Broadway. Not only did they diagnose my codes they suggested an appointment to dig deeper before replacing my O2 sensor (the light in question). Not only did it not turn out to be an expensive replacement (APX $300) but just an intermittent code error. A less scrupulous shop would of changed the sensor, etc. These guys are total pro’s. Ethical, honest, straight shooters. I highly recommend this shop.
A buddy and I were on a road trip to Arizona and had some truck problems. Took it in right when they opened and Jay at the front desk got our truck in the shop in a timely manner. I love this place and the atmosphere. Would definitely come back here for more auto repairs and would suggest the business to friends and family in the local area.

My buddy and I were on a trip passing through town when my Toyota Tacoma went into limp mode. Called the shop and Jay picked up. He was incredibly kind over the phone and told us to bring it in and hed get it checked out ASAP. Arrived and Jay was incredibly friendly, got my truck right in and diagnosed quickly. Had a bad coil pack and carbon buildup in the intake system. Jay did everything he could to give me a fair deal and get me back on the road. May be some of the most genuine no bs customer service I have ever received. Would highly recommend to anyone. Everyone here was very transparent, honest and genuine in everything they did for me. Shout out to Jay, Dave, and the rest of the folks here for keeping my road trip alive.

Toy-Auto Masters is an actual fair and honest mechanic shop! They really take the time to fully figure out and diagnose what’s wrong with your car and then expertly fix it. The owner (Dave) and staff (Jay - the guy at the front desk) are personable, kind and responsive. Their prices are fair and they’re all around easy and great to interact with. 10/10 would recommend.
Not a great experience here, sadly. To their credit, Jay was friendly on the phone and pleasant to talk to, but sadly I wont go back. I brought a truck in for inspection and that went fine enough. I asked them to replace some fluids and minor things (~$850 in work), which they did. The work was delayed a few days due to a personal issue, which I can understand completely. However, when I got my truck back it died a couple days later. Toy-Auto had applied anti-corrosive spray on my battery but didnt reconnect the terminals completely and the truck died. When I opened the hood, I found an oily rag had been left inside the engine bay as well. Thats a dealbreaker — and also a great way to BBQ a car. I replied to a text message by Dave and told him about the rag, but no answer. Called a couple days later, told Jay about the rag and battery and thats that. Bummer.

I was in a stressful situation with my car. It needed a new engine and I was deeply concerned about finding a reliable shop that could replace my engine without it costing me an arm and a leg. I found one! Toy Auto Masters. I spoke with Jay originally and he got right on it. He provided me with two estimates to choose from and once I selected the one that would work best for me, he arranged to have my car towed to the shop. I have been going to Toy Auto Masters now for a few years to service my 3rd generation 4Runner. They have performed regularly scheduled maintenance as well as repaired those things that just wear out after you put over 200,000 miles on a vehicle.I have had my 4Runner for over 18 years and while I am not very mechanically knowledgeable myself I am very familiar with my own vehicle’s quirks and repair history. When I get my vehicle serviced communication is really important to me. I have gone to lot of different mechanics over the span of those 18 years and Toy Auto Masters is the best.Dave the owner is very receptive to my concerns and while I am not always familiar with the intricacies of specific repair work Dave is always available to listen to my concerns and painstakingly explain the work to be performed before proceeding. I really appreciate that because for me I want to know why things wear out and how to diagnose those odd sounds and quirks to tell the difference between something serious and something that is a minor issue that may not need immediate attention. I greatly appreciate that they share that knowledge with me. In the past I have been to shops where mechanics were not always forthcoming with that knowledge and it left me feeling uncertain about their recommendations. I have never doubted Dave’s expertise.I trust Toy Auto Masters to listen to my concerns, to be honest with me, to prioritize the maintenance as it is needed, and to guarantee their work and follow up with me to make sure everything is to my satisfaction even if it’s a year later.I have had a few instances where mechanical problems were not easily diagnosed and Toy Auto Masters exhaustively and meticulously triangulated the issue and repaired it which is a level of expertise other shops aren’t always able to achieve which is how I came to find Toy Auto Masters in the first place.I trust them with my aging 4Runner which still runs great after all these years much to their credit and at a cost that I have found is less than other shops I have dealt with in the past.It is never a good feeling when your check engine light comes on, but knowing that Dave has my back when it does, goes a lot to reducing my anxiety.I highly recommend Toy Auto Masters.
I have been going to this place for just over ten years and I think that their service is amazing, I wouldnt go anywhere else. I had issue with my heater and after the fix, I still experienced a under-performing heater. When I contacted them, they went out of their way to investigate and make sure my original fix was 100%. Jay, Dave and the rest of the team absolutely rock.

I bought a used vehicle that needed an alignment and an overall mechanic to check it out as I had 5 days to change my mind about buying it. When I walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed. They told me what to expect for pricing up front, which was completely reasonable. When the job was completed they called me to pick it up. When I arrived, one of the mechanics was cleaning the windshield because the dealer I bought the vehicle from neglected to clean the sticker remnants. Above and beyond! Definitely my new shop!

The owner himself spoke with me on the phone and answered my many questions fairly and honestly. They did the work that was needed and were not pushy for more. I was introduced to Toy-Auto Masters several years ago by a friend of mine and Im so glad I started to bring my 2015 Honda CR-V to them.They are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I have been having a problem with my trailer wiring. Once Toy-Auto diagnosed the problem and the parts were acquired, the mechanic, Tom, was able to install the parts quickly and professionally. When he had a question, Tom, would ask how I wanted the trailer connector to be wired.The service writer, Jay, was very accommodating and allowed me to wait for my car.Toy-Auot Masters is a very professional company that does great work.Mike

Been taking my car here for about 2 years now... theyve been kind and courteous and from what I can tell theyve been honest and havent taken advantage of me. I was dealing with a rear differential leak on my 2014 RAV4 with only 77k miles on it and I brought it here to have it inspected and serviced. They were quick to solve my issue and luckily saved me from dealing with some major issues down the road after discovering both the drain and fill bolt were loose after the dealership previously serviced it. There was very little fluid left in the differential and I’m really lucky this was caught and corrected. They cleaned up the rear differential nicely and refilled it to spec and verified it no longer leaked. I will be having my vehicles serviced here from now on after this experience and I highly recommend anyone looking for a honest reputable shop to come here. Great service and overall experience.
Jay and his crew at TAM impressed me with their professionalism this week. Id previously had them inspect my Lexus, and received a lengthy list of repairs - some of which were [necessarily] pricey and extensive. I agreed to their assessment and dropped my vehicle off with them.A few days later, I received a call from Jay, who was very up front and forthcoming about mentioning that one of the more expensive repairs theyd originally recommended wouldnt actually be needed, after all.It was an honest misdiagnosis, which Jay apologized for --- but hey, these things happen! The thing that struck me most was that he could have charged me for that repair anyway, and Id have never known. Instead, he showcased his integrity by telling me the bill would be MUCH less than the original estimate Id already signed off on.Overall, these guys certainly seem to know their stuff - and this experience has proven them to be an honest, trustworthy destination for my vehicle. If you want a shop you can trust - give TAM a call.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Toy-Auto for many years now (for my old and current Honda Pilot) and have always been very happy with the work they have done on my car! I recently just met Jay when my current 2010 Honda Pilot needed some emergency work done on it. He was so warm and friendly not to mention he was very determined to find the true root issue with my car even when it seemed like finding the problem would never happen. The communication was excellent from the time I called saying I needed to bring it in (last Thursday) to when it was fixed (Friday). They diagnosed the problem the next morning after I brought it in and they had my car fixed within the same afternoon. Highly recommend giving them a try and I do not believe you will be disappointed, thank you Jay and everyone else at Toy Auto!!
Had some engine problems in the middle of a long road trip. These guys fit me in last minute on a busy day, were incredibly nice, knowledgable, and got me back on the road in a hurry. Could not recommend them enough!

Guys, if you have a Toyota or Lexus this is where you should get it serviced. Oil change and preventative maintenance was performed on my 3rd gen Tacoma and was very pleased with the time, cost, and overall professionalism of the place. Never once felt that I was being taken advantage of.If you call, ask for Jay. He’ll advise you on what should be done.
I took my 2nd gen 4Runner in for a bad clutch hydraulics issue. They had that plus a couple other issues they discovered fixed quickly. Now it drives like a brand new truck! Highly recommend Toy Auto for anyone who owns an older model Toyota or other Japanese OEM car/truck.
I have been using Toyauto Masters for about 8 years now. I first started using them after leaving the mechanic industry. I was searching for a shop that I could trust. Phil was great for the years that he was there. Just recently I was at a crossroad with what to do about my aging 97 4runner. Jay, the new service advisor did great. At first, I was nervous having only worked with Phil for the last 8 years. Jay took the time to review all the major work that needed to be done. Then, gave me the time to decide what I wanted to do which I appreciated a ton. My budget did not allow me to spend as much as the quote, so Jay and Dave were willing to work with me on price which meant a ton. After the work was done, there were a few issues that arose that required me to take the vehicle back through their warranty. I think this is where they excelled. Sometimes we all make mistakes, so the fact they honored their warranty is what will bring me back again and again. Thank you Jay! I highly recommend taking your Toyota, Honda or Subaru to ToyAuto Masters.
Ive taken every vehicle I own to Toy-Auto since moving to Colorado 6 years ago. As a female, I have always been on guard going to any mechanic. Never have I felt uncomfortable here. They are honest, hardworking and upfront. My husband and I moved about an hour away a year ago and still will take the time to drive across town just for Toy-Auto. When purchasing new vehicles, my husband and I take into account if they will be able to service them - I trust them that much.
Kept my car hostage and did work that wasnt needed/required. They tried to then ask me for a 5 star rating for a discount! Pure scam artists!
Best auto shop Ive ever been to. When the owner is willing to give you a ride to work and calls you directly, you know theyre trustworthy. Call ahead and set an appointment as theyre busy, but youll be glad you chose them. Ive been going to Toy-Auto Masters for years and they always provide an above and beyond customer experience where its quite clear they care about the people they do business with. This shop has integrity which you can rely on, thanks Dave!

I called this business on 9/21 for a quote. Gave all details including number. Never received a call back. Then called back on 9/24. Ended up going to Toy Doctor, associate answered on first ring.Dont believe Toy-Auto Masters is good customer service if they dont answer or return customer calls.

Honest, knowledgeable, professional. I asked them whether I should have some maintenance done and instead of just saying yes and taking my money they let me know that service wasnt needed for 10s of thousands more miles. (UPDATE: the above review is from 8 months ago. Today - March 18, 2021, I called at 7:15 am, before they are even open. They put me right through to Jay. I told them I thought I needed a new water pump for my 90,000 mile 2009 Venza. He told me they had an opening and to bring it right over. Got there around 8ish maybe? He asked when I needed it, and I said this is so last minute, I was happy I just go the car there - by this time the coolant was leaking onto the ground - and whenever they could do it was fine, figuring I might have to rent a car for something. Jay said they could probably do it today and when would I like it. I said well, 1:00 pm would be nice. Jay said he thought they could do it. He called me around 12:30 pm to say it was done. Same day, no appointment, new water pump, belt, and radiator/cooling system flush and fill, about 4ish is hours from the time I dropped it off! THESE. GUYS. ARE. THE. BEST!!!!!).
Genuine, and very service oriented. Not looking to just make an extra buck off you. Will certainly bring my taco back when issues arise.
Bring your car here!!! The staff and owners at this shop are in the treating people right business!!! You know how youre never quite sure youre getting the best price or the best service....not a single worry here. I made the unfortunate mistake of first taking my car to the dealership only to realize they were sticking it to me. BAD!!! So I checked around for 2nd quotes and could not have been happier to have found Jay and his awesome attitude toward helping me get my car fixed. It was a MAJOR brake repair on my Toyota Prius V and they were able to take care of my car at a price that was right! Ive never felt better about my choice in a mechanic shop in my life! Will continue to go here for any future issues and will be directing all my friends here as well. Dont hesitate to come here, I thought my issue was only going to be able to be fixed by the dealership. I was soooo wrong!! They really are the Masters!! Thanks to everyone at Toy Auto for all your hard work and excellent customer service!! Couldnt be happier!
Dave and Phil are AMAZING Toyota techs, they are incredibly knowledgable.I went to them for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection and they were completely honest and helped me easily through the entire process.Incredibly good quality shop to go to if youre wanting your Toyota-baby worked on!
These guys are great! The team diagnosed the issue on my Honda Pilot (it needed 2 new wheel bearings) in about 10 minutes and they had it fully repaired within about 3 hours. I cant say enough about their kind and thoughtful approach. Great people, they know what theyre doing, all at a fair price. I would take my vehicle back here any day and twice on ... well theyre not open on Sundays but you get the point!

Recently discovered this place as my car was hit by somebody else so I went to go get it fixed at this facility. staff was very friendly they even follow up with a text message after the repair was done to make sure I was satisfied. I asked them for the parts that they replaced and they gave them to me and I will be going back to them for any kind of work tune-ups oil changes that I need because they have good prices.
