I would recommend Front Range stone to anyone and everyone. It only took 3.5 weeks from beginning to end when Lowes was saying 9. Everything was done perfectly and quality was amazing. The installers were in and out in less than 2 hours

So disappointed. Purchased through Home Depot. Initial timeline was emailed to me with a 3-4 week estimate after final approval. Had my measurement scheduled at which time I was told install would be another 3-4 weeks. Heard nothing from the company after the measurement, finally had to call them to get my install scheduled which was another 4 weeks out. Had my old counter taken out in anticipation of the initial timeline so now will be living with no counter or sink in my kitchen while I wait for my install. Was told that they changed their email template for updated timelines but I was NEVER informed of any of this.... I think they would have blown me off completely had I not called. Terrible service.

This company is clearly not focused on the customers needs. The project coordinator I worked with almost never answered the phone or returned calls. I called and left messages for days on end. When I did talk to him, he spoke down to me as if I should already know the inner workings of their business. After struggling to work with them for a month they finally found out that the granite I need was on back order and would delay my schedule for approx 3 weeks. Canceled the order completely, Im done. Dont let them blame the current supply chain/labor shortage, the bad reviews on google pre-date the current crisis, so theres really no excuse. If youre in CO Springs go to Planet Granite, they are a much more professional outfit.

Terrible Experience. Ordered countertops on Home Depot and was matched with them. After over a month of back and forth (all the while the custom measurement and drawings were complete and approved) the office reps didnt place the order and wouldnt respond in a timely manner. Unprofessional and a total waste of time so I cancelled the order to find a more competent company!

I wish I could break up my review: 5 stars for the installers and 0 stars for the company. Trying to call this company over the last 5 months has been impossible -- no one answers or returns your call. My Lowes rep did get through one time. When I was livid that there had been no communication about the install and the delivery window was closing (I sent emails) I was told they do up to 80 installs a day and do not have time to call everyone. How about do 40 installs, up your price, and provide good customer service? Every one of these 1 and 2 star reviews would appreciate that Im sure. My installers arrived after 6 and left after 8 -- with a drive from Wyoming to Denver in front of them. I made sure to mention that Im sure they are underpaid and overworked and was told it was their 7th install that day. I hope both of them find better employment. They did a great job and the one seam left is nearly unnoticeable. They were innovative to make sure one difficult piece fit perfectly. I do not recommend Front Range to anyone and will be sure Lowes knows the same. Those of you who used Home Depot should tell them as well. If you need to talk to these people, send an email and hope for the best because youll never get them on the phone.

We purchased countertops through Home Depot. We were a little concerned after reading so many negative reviews about this company (and having already paid we just had to hope it worked out) but honestly everything was great for our experience. The communication with Katie was consistent and quick to respond to any of our questions. The template and installation teams were both very kind and efficient, and the countertops look amazing! Very happy with everything we had done. We removed/installed the sink and redid the plumbing ourselves to save some money. The only negative is that the Home Depot estimate did not factor in a $250 extra charge for the island piece being greater than 20 sq.ft. which was a bit of a surprise cost.

Good Luck getting ahold of anyone! I have been calling all day long only to be put on hold for 15 to 30 minutes every phone call and then get a recording stating all of them are busy. If you want to leave a message they say it can take up to 3 business days to return your call? Installers cut the holes for the clamps in the wrong place and now we will have to pay $250.00 additional money for them to come back to fix their mistake, plus we have to wait 7 days with no sink in our kitchen! Installers were polite and did everything else efficiently. Still shouldnt have to pay for their goof and should definitely NOT take 7 days to fix their problem.

This is a hard review to write. The installers were great! Their work was amazing! The company itself...a little iffy. We had an appt. for 1-5 on a Friday, no one showed up. We called, they were closed. We thought they just blew us off. We went to dinner, since our kitchen was torn apart, and they called hours late. We hurried home and love our counters, but a phone call about the situation would have been more professional.

Terrible experience with Front Range Stone so far! Ordered solid surface counter through Home Depot. FRS has not contacted me once. Ive had to call them each step of the way. Theyre nearly impossible to get ahold of. Ive been told that Id receive a call at each step of the process, but never have. I told them about my time window for installation and was assured they would be able to accommodate me. Now Im looking at an install Thanksgiving week due to their retched customer service. I sure hope the install goes better than their in house communication. I wish I had read all of the reviews in advance. I echo the comments regarding the worst customer service!

I have nothing but good things to say about everyone from Front Range involved with my project. Phone always answered promptly and professionally, any and all questions explained and answered. The teams that did the demo, the installation and the plumbing were great. Sean, Ryan, Nik and the two gentlemen who did the installation ( sorry, Im bad at remembering all names) were professional, friendly, patient ( answered my 1000 questions). Did a great job and cleaned so well I tried to hire them to clean my house...lol. I love my countertops!! Thank you to everyone involved. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime!!

This is the WORST company I have ever had to work with. I ordered countertops through Home Depot their contact is with Front Range Stone. This company forced me to tear out a bread box before placing my order, took 2 months to get my countertops, they measured them incorrectly after forcing me to get an entire appointment to MEASURE FOR COUNTERTOPS then took another week to install even though I had to tear out our current countertops the night before otherwise they would leave and charge us a travel fee, then scratched up all my cabinets while installing, I have requested compensation for the meals for a week while I couldn’t use my kitchen and the damage to my cabinets. I have emailed and called with 2 managers and they haven’t responded to me in 3 weeks. I’m running out of ideas to get them to do the right thing.

Lots of negative reviews on here but I recently had a great experience with Front Range Stone. The one complaint I will agree with everyone on is that its extremely difficult to get thru to someone on the phone to schedule the install. The automated recording will hang up on you after six minutes. I just had to be patient and not give up -- FRS should seriously consider a new switchboard system. However, you can also go thru your customer account specialist at your local hardware store and they can call on your behalf. Leverage that strategy.Once I scheduled the install, everything else was cake. The installers showed up an hour early which was sweet, they were professional and nice and knew what they were doing -- Salvador was my lead installer and he was awesome. The install looks really good, professionally done, the seams are nearly invisible. They cleaned up all of the messes they made. I would definitely use FRS again but dont come to them if youre impatient -- They really do cover a massive service area so try to understand. If you guys improve your phone system youd knock the review game out of the park. Install took ~2 hours. If they do a good job for you, leave them a good review, its only fair -- Statistically people are way more likely to leave a negative review for a bad experience than a positive review for a good experience.

I had a fairly negative experience with this company, which was working as a contractor through Home Depot to install countertops. Someone from FRS came out to do a template in early June, and I was told at that point that the install would happen in 3-4 weeks. Well, 4 weeks passed and I gave the company several calls - after bugging them and Home Depot for days they finally got back to me and said since you called, well try to get you on the schedule. The implication was that, had I not called, I never would have received my counters! At that point, they told me that they were still scheduling 5 weeks out, putting the time between my template and install at 9 weeks. I ended up canceling the order completing, receiving most of my money back, and going with a great local company that did a template and install within a week. If youre not in a rush, this company may work well because their prices are low, but communication is poor and the timeline is slow.

I ordered granite countertops from Home Depot in western Nebraska at the end of November 2020 - yes 2020! It took until June 21, 2021 to get them installed and until August 5, 2021 to get them “fixed”. Run as fast as you can from Home Depot and Front Range Stone! Read the reviews! You pay up front! Then - Front Range Stone does not answer their phones’. They have a million excuses -COVID - sick staff - out of granite - waiting on a barge (in Denver), repairman had a baby, etc. Expect delay after delay. My countertop was cut 1/2” too long - so the refrigerator wouldn’t fit in the space, had a big chip on an edge, a rough finish around the sink, and NO finish on the underside of the lip around the sink leaving sharp edges exposed. It took another 6 weeks to get them to to return to “fix” the issues. They will never be fixed properly after they are installed! Also - be prepared for a lot of overhang around your sinks! To top it off one half of the kitchen had a 4” backsplash and the other half a 5” backsplash. Check the “designer’s” work from Home Depot! Don’t assume they know what they are doing! There were more problems than I can write about with this remodel through HomeDepot. Check out your LOCAL stores and run from Home Depot and Front Range Stone! It might cost a little more up front - but what it will save you in aggravation and extra costs due to mistakes made by Home Depot will be worth it! Check out the mess we got stuck with after the backsplash were “fixed” because “I changed my mind” and wanted the back splashes to all be the same height! I NEVER wanted them two different heights to begin with!

My install is probably a lot simpler than most since I was having them do a laminate countertop as an L desk, but they did a great job. There was some lag time in between getting all the payment settled and having them reach back out for install so Ill knock a star off for that, but the installers were great and took very little time to get everything setup.

Avoid at all costs. We ordered laminate through home depot and were connected with them to do the work. They took significantly longer than quoted to schedule an install date and getting a hold of them is a nightmare with 30+ minute hold times and no answers to voicemails. The only demo/install dates they had were over a weekend so we were without a kitchen for multiple days. We finally got the countertops installed and their schematic did not include two areas of backsplash that their team had removed during demolition, so we were left with two large areas of exposed drywall. The countertops also do not reach the wall in one place, leaving a gap and exposed wood. Took me over 24 hours to get a hold of someone and still have no resolution, just a promise to “call back soon”. Horrible company, avoid.

We got new counter tops for the house and had the worst time with these guys, the first time they came they said the cabinets were out of level and would not be able to install so we fixed it all. They came back and said that they couldnt put the counter top down with them leveled out and took out the wood installed to make it level so now the counter top has no support and is at risk of cracking. They also installed a bar top which came in 2 pieces and they did not match so they had to take it back to the shop. Instead of fixing the top correctly they just grinded it down where the 2 pieces meet so it has a half circle shape where they glued the 2 pieces together. Spend the real money on a contractor that knows what they are doing

The installers were very friendly, on time, and courteous. They did the sink cut indoors causing a lot of dust that took us several hours to clean up (it went through the whole first floor). Also the backsplash was 1 too tall which required a re-do. The second installation crew was also friendly, on time, and courteous. They also polished a spot on the front of the bullnosing that was left rough. All in all, we were pleased with the finished product! Beautiful quartz product!

Theyve been out twice now and both times the counters were cut wrong. Ive been without a kitchen sink and dishwasher for a week now because theyre slow and cant get their cuts right, and theyre unwilling to reimburse me for plywood as a temporary counter. Calling them is like calling phone support in India, who knows whats going on behind the scenes. But theyre more than willing to add notes into the abyss that is my account. Its comforting to know somewhere in their database there exists descriptions of my problems that no one will ever read.Ive literally finished renovations on my entire house while waiting for these counters to be installed. This was the first company I contacted in the long renovation process, why are they not finished when everyone else was done long ago? My house was supposed to be on the market weeks ago.

Dont use this company or Home Depot. After waiting over a month for an update on my countertops that I had already paid for, no one was willing to provide me with an update or give me an idea of what was going on. I called Home Depots corporate number and found that my order had been canceled after being told by both Front Range and Home Depot the one had to talk to the other for an update. I then had to demand a refund and even went as far as disputing the charges to make sure I received my money back. I purchased counters on 3/21 and honestly still have no actual idea as to what happened with my order as neither Front Range Stone nor Home Depot ever provided any actual information.

Working with Front Range has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had during a renovation project. I purchased countertops through Floor and Decor with Front Range being the installer. I was quoted 2-4 weeks on install, only to have Front Range schedule me for an install 6 weeks after my purchase. Their staff was incredibly rude, rarely calling me back, and actually hanging up on me one time when I was trying to get on the installation schedule. Worst of all, they measured my countertops wrong, and I had to leave work in the middle of the install to cut my stainless steel sink down to a smaller size and cut floor tiles out so that everything would fit with the countertops. I attempted to work with Front Range to make things right afterwards, at least compensating me for the time I had to take off work, but true to their style, they never called me back. I strongly advise DO NOT use this company! What a disaster - and they dont even care.

I have used Front Range Stone twice now ... once in 2020 and now again recently and both times had the same terrible experience. Let me say its NOT the installers - the installers are fine and frankly master craftsman, but its the customer service that is beyond terrible! Think twice or three times before you use this company via The Home Depot. Front Range Stone has a contract with The Home Depot and if you want certain types of quartz (as was our case) you must PAY IN FULL for the job before Front Range Stone ever will speak to you. And frankly, if you pay in full - you have no recourse with them. They dont have to answer the phone, or deal with complaints either. OH and for sure KNOW THIS - theyll put a seam in your beautiful, expensive quartz AT THEIR DISCRETION. I had a butlers pantry installed last year and the quartz was installed without a seam - but with the new buffet I just had installed it came in two pieces - seam right down the middle and they claim its because the structure of the cabinets couldnt support it....humm then explain to me why it worked with the other install? They did this for their own convenience! No care for my VERY CLEAR REQUEST to the person they have do the templateing... specifically requested a solid piece ... no seam and he said that was not a problem...installers said they would normally not see a seam in this type of install - yet Front Range Stone says there is a lot that goes into it! I have complained to The Home Depot many times about the poor customer service and they can do nothing locally but Im complaining now to the district offices because they need to know and realize this is a terrible situation and need to review their contract with this company. PROCEED WITH CAUTION because you too will hear the choice words of If you reject that order it will not be recut and at your expense....guess you dont read contracts before you sign and weve been in business for 20 years and have an excellent reputation ! Before you make the same mistake Ive made, READ all of the complaints against this company. Its not a isolated incident.

I went through Home Depot to get granite countertops. It was daunting to say the least. There was a problem with the design that I wanted, problems with scheduling, and miscommunication between the store and Front Range Stone. I was on my last nerve when the installation came and then one of the pieces of granite had a discoloring on it that looked terrible. I rejected the countertop and the company policy was that a new piece was chargeable.I hit the roof.. until I got one of their employees on the phone. This one employee was able to turn a one star review into a five star rating. Because Jenny M. listened.....and looked... and understood what I was upset about. She negotiated on my behalf for the company to make it right. And the company DID make it right. The result is fantastic and I really hope the Front Range Stone recognizes what a gem of a negotiator they have on staff!

This company is awful. Plainly terrible. I got entwined with these people while shopping for countertop through LOWES. This was a VERY large job, LOTS of countertop. They installed the countertop, then called and asked how it was, when I told them I had some issues with the matching of a seam, they told me they were going to schedule someone to come out and look at it, then we stopped hearing from them. I thought they were scheduling me, so a couple weeks go by and we dont hear from them... I reach out to LOWES and they tell me that Front Range emailed them, saying they already spoke to me, and explained the situation. This was a LIE, they never finished communicating with me, the issue was still present, and wouldnt be explained away. I get the number from LOWES for TIM LUNDY and reach out to him directly.I start speaking to TIM LUNDY who is apparently the middle man between LOWES and their company. This guy is the worst offender of communication. I tell him I have a problem, he says hell get back to me, and never does, so I end up having to call him, the day after he says hell return my call, every. time. Nearly half a dozen times this guy failed to call me back after he gave me a specific date that he would do so. Just to be clear, I was MORE than rude to this guy for him LYING and not respecting my time by returning a call. This guy is a corrective action alone. So I go through LOWES to get this issue fixed, and they are super helpful; unfortunately, they create a new order with this awful company to fix the awful job they did the first time. I hate the idea of LOWES supporting this terrible behavior, but as the end user, I just want my countertops fixed. They tell me my appointment for this re-install is the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, 2:00. Then I call in that day to confirm, Im told yup, today, 1:00 - 5:00. Then I dont hear from anyone until 6:00(!), and I tell them their window closed, well have to reschedule, my long weekend already started. I call Tuesday to reschedule and Im told Wednesday, 1:00 - 5:00 again. Wednesday morning comes along, Im getting ready to go to work, and I get a call at 8:26 saying theyre on their way, and running late. Wow. I end up working from home that day to accommodate their scheduling. They come out to replace the countertops today and, while the countertop itself good, theres some damage to my cabinets from them having to remove the old ones, as well as some generous caulking to attempt to cover-up said damage.Im at a point now where if I complain, even if LOWES decided to help me a second time, Id have to pull this countertop back out, order and replace the cabinets, then get yet another coutertop installed. Im done with this. I want to finish this project sometime this year, and it seems LOWES would only go back to this terrible, terrible company and it might somehow turn out worse this time. Please see pictures:The seam that started it all. Movement doesnt match at all (not to be expected with quartz, but this is beyond bad), and worse-off the seam is out of two different slabs; its white on the left, and the white on the right of the seam is more... yellow-y.Chipped kick plate, probably kicked. Cant find the piece anywhere (covered up?)Under-counter CHUNK of cabinet missing, filled in (badly) with caulk.Cabinet under countertop cracked.TL;DR: This company doesnt care about you or your project. They suck at communicating. They flatout LIED to LOWES and I have a beautiful chain of emails and call records to prove it. Their scheduling and contracted installers have no idea whats going on. Their contracted installers dont care about you or your project.Did you notice at least one of their 5 star reviews is from an employee about how good of a place it is to work? Did you notice how almost all of their reviews are 1 star or 5 star? Suspicious. This isnt glassdoor, Im not looking for a job, Im looking for someone who doesnt suck at countertops... continue looking.

Like clockwork the gentleman came over to lay out the template providing all the measurements. Installation was fantastic until we had a slight problem with broken faucet, due to my negligence. Front range had to stop the installation upon my request. After faucet fixed they sent a new crew out and completed the installation flawlessly. These guys started out great. Despite a misunderstanding in scheduling the measuring of the kitchen, we proceeded to get the granite exactly as we had hoped. The problem began when they failed to send 4 guys to lift the giant slab for our island. Instead 2 men suffered, dragging about 700lbs to the back of the house, where there were less stairs than in front, to reach the kitchen. Clearly you need more people to bring in such a large slab without damaging it, but they gave it their best and after an hour or so finally loaded it back into the truck. During several attempts to lift, the slab had slipped down the stairs and embedded itself in the soft dirt at the bottom, scraping the decking as it went. Fortunately there was no patio at the bottom or the slab (and patio) could have been cracked.I was impressed that they could return later the same week, and sure enough, 4 big strong men came and struggled, but got it in place and its beautiful. Im so very pleased with the crafters who made it for us, and for the men who brought it here to install it.What is bothersome is that the office initially refused to acknowledge the damage, and then said it is incidental, based on the photos I and the strong men took.Apparently if they come into your house and damage something, its not worthy of their time to repair it. Perhaps if they had broken a window? Or fallen through the deck railing?Bottom line -- if you invite them into your home, dont expect them to leave it the way they found it.

But, I made sure I worked with Front Range, and double-checked appointments, even though that is HDs job. Home Depot is way too big to stay on top of things, so I dont mind double-checking everything. I recommend Front Range Granite, without reservation.

This is the most difficult and frustrating experience we have had as a company opening our store. No calls regarding back order of materials. The custom order was bought and paid fir on December 22 at Home Depot. We were not contacted regarding back order of materials and finally, when we expected delivery of the counter top we were told that the driver was sick on the Monday for a Tuesday delivery. 1 driver for the entire state of Colorado. Workers booked off work to be there to install counter.Do not order with this company or through Home Depot. We will never again use Home Depot for our business, home or rentals. Plenty of bad experiences with 1 installation.1. The person taking the measurements was scyfor noon to 4. Waited for him all afternoon. At 4:30 he called and said he was an hour away. During his measurements we discussed a medicine cabinet & how the cuts would be managed to center it between the sink. More on that later.2. On installation day the crew had an 8:00 till noon window. Arrived about 1 PM. Installing the countertop they damaged both oh the sidewalks. The measurements didn’t account for any room to fit the top in. We had to repair about 2’ of wal,l, retexturing and repainting.3. They came with pieces too short to do the backsplash. They left without completing it. Another measure wasn’t accurate4. Back to the medicine cabinet. They had enough backsplash to do part of the backsplash to the left of the medicine cabinet. Explained to the installers that the medicine cabinet belonged centered between the 2 sinks. They took the measurements and made the cuts outside. I removed the medicine cabinet from the countertop & put it in an adjacent room to wait for my general contractor to install. The cut was 1/2 too short & when the contractor went to install the cabinet could not be centered without a gap.Front Range says they have photos that there was no gap. That could only be possible if the installers shoved the cabinet against the cut. They also claim there was no mention of the medicine cabinet in the estimates. That also is ludicrous. They are the sub for Hime Depot. HD designed the custom vanity complete with the cabinet as part of the order. And had discussion with their rep that made the laser measurements about how the cuts would occur. They charged me $40 for the extra cuts. I would avoid these people like the plague

I ordered counter tops through Home Depot. The plumber did not show to disconnect the plumbing for the tear out crew. That was on a Friday. This was not their fault, but they were able to get it resolved anyway and the tear out crew was back out on Monday first thing in the morning. Then, the install happened the following day. Very poor service!! I called to set up a measure, and was given the only available time from 8am-12 noon. I told them this was for a cabin 2 hours away, so I asked for a later time, and was told this was the only available time, and that they always start at the top of the mountain (my place) and work their way down the mountain for other work. We took off half a day of work, and left at 5:30am to arrive before 8. I called just after 8 and they now said they would arrive between 12-1. They never called the night before or that morning to notify us, even though I made it abundantly clear this was for a cabin 2 hours away and we had to take off work. I called again and was now told they would arrive between 12-1:30, and would call 1/2 hour before arrival. We finally gave up left at 1pm, and both of us missed a full day of work. If we hadnt been there during their scheduled time and they showed up, they would have charged us, but they made no effort to compensate us for a day of missed work. Needless to say we canceled our order. If they are this disorganized in just scheduling a measure, I cant imagine what an install would be like!

Technicians were great but the company is shady. My counter showed up without the sink hole cut and had deep gouges in four different places. The company left me hanging on corbel installation and did not install attachment points for my garbage compactor or a desk drawer. The thing that frustrated me most is that I learned the company did all of these things knowingly, hoping I would just accept the damaged product and reduced work scope. When I sent the company a letter requesting a refund for work not done, they ignored it. When I told them not to close the job until my concerns were address they ignored me and told Home Depot the job was done without my consent. Installation was scheduled to be complete before Christmas. I ended up with a torn up kitchen for the entire holiday and had to take 4 more days off of work to deal with all issues that they left behind.

We worked with these guys through Lowes and had a really disappointing experience. The customer service from the main office was good, as well as the person who came out to take final measurements. However the installation was awful. A two-person team showed up with no phone call to say they were on the way, no uniforms and in an unmarked vehicle. We had one very large slab that was far too heavy for them to carry into the house safely, but they dragged it in doing damage to both the slab and to our floor. Despite us having the sink and template on site during the measurement, the sink hole was cut in the wrong place. After a lot of back and forth we settled on the crew cutting the lip of our new sink down to make it fit rather than send the counter back. The the caulk job was pathetic, they left messy caulk prints all over our cabinets and huge gaps around the sink and backsplash where water would be able to get in. They made a dusty mess of our garage, it’s contents and our driveway. They did a token effort of a clean up job but instead of getting their own tools out of their van they helped themselves to our shop-vac, shovel and broom without our permission. Definitely would not recommend. Spend a bit more money and go somewhere else.

I would strongly encourage everyone that uses any company to read reviews. I didn’t read the reviews for front range stone and really wish I would have. The company is subcontracted out by Home Depot. The company is very unorganized! There is no communication between employees and management or the owner. The more we were promised the more we were let down. The entire experience was just exhausting to us. I feel terrible for the installation crew because they are typically the last people to leave the home and I am sure they are treated horribly because of what customers endured during the process. Hopefully things will change for this company. The problems may include: measurements not being turned in, scheduling issues, very long wait times, and Poor communication between the employees.

Ordered a new counter top from Home Depot. Took in my old measurements and were told that the new 4 back splash would be an inch higher than the old back splash to cover any imperfections from old caulk, etc. Then Front Range Stone sent out their person to laser measure for a perfect fit, he said the same thing that the 4 back splash would be 1 higher than the old back splash. Wrong. When the installer came out and the back splash was lower than the old one. He said the representative that measured didnt know what he was talking about. He said didnt you see the deer in the headlights look?. When Front Range called to see how my installation went I told them of the height of the back splash being too low, I sent them pictures. After several weeks a nice young lady called and said it was Home Depots fault and that the person they sent out to measure was a contractor and didnt work for the company. My feeling was he was their representative but they felt it was a private contractor, and was not responsible for what he told us. My feeling is I didnt hire the person to do the laser measurement they did.FRONT RANGE STONE WAS WILLING TO PUT IN A NEW BACK SPLASH IF I WANTED TO PAY THE TOTAL COST OF THE NEW ONE, I WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR THE EXTRA INCH BUT THAT WOULDNT WORK. Their communication is atrocious. Installers have been out twice, first time the countertops were not cut correctly, the contractors marked what needed to be fixed to make it correct. A week later the piece came back with the marks previously made mostly wiped away and no modifications made. Called customer service and was told the installation manager was in a meeting. I called back an hour and a half later and they said the manager left for the day after the meeting with no call back to me. Everyone is sorry and apologizes but no one ever knows what is going on. We also have machine marks on the edge of some counters. All this company does is cut countertops in a shop with what I presume is a CNC machine and handle schedules. Everything else is subcontracted out and each subcontractor is liable for all the actual work that needs to be done to get countertops installed. Every additional charge they add (stairs, big slabs, etc) does not go to the installers who have to deal with the installation process. In a nut shell they fabricate in a shop and communicate the work with their subcontractors, neither of which they do well. If I read the reviews on front range stone and knew they were a contractor for Home Depot I would of requested a different company or purchased our countertops elsewhere to avoid them.

This company was really responsive and the various crews that came to our house were great. We had them install quartz countertops and possibly due to the size of our counter (very small) or the color we chose, there is a very visible and obvious seam (in very visible and obvious spot on the counter). We did not expect this. We addressed our concern with the company and they were sympathetic, but werent able to correct the issue or offer us compensation. In the future we will do more research and ask more questions about materials used, placement of seams, and color, as I would not have paid the premium for quartz had we known it would look the way it does.

Ordered quartz counter tops through Lowes and just so happens that Front Range does their installs. I had concerns when the first guy came out to take measurements in regards to the hole for the faucet. I felt it would be too close to the sink opening and thus very narrow, hard to cut and probably break. I even asked if the sink opening could be larger and avoid the faucet hole altogether which was not my first choice but at least it would work with the style sink I chose. Anyway, the guy blew me off we know what were doing kinda thing but he TAKES MY SINK WITH HIM. I actually felt good about that, thinking they would pay close attention to making sure the sink/faucet openings worked out. About a month later, when they finally come to install everything, the installer tells me he cant cut the faucet hole because the sink opening is too big. THEY HAD MY SINK FOR A MONTH AND COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO CUT THE HOLE. So, they loaded the counter top back on the truck and left. It has been 2 days and I cant seem to get anyone to call me back. I have no counter and no kitchen sink. If I could give negative stars for customer service I would! The only bright spot is that their installers were very professional. After reading some of the reviews I was a little leery about moving forward but after calling and discussing my concerns we both HD and FRS we proceeded. The installation and quality are top notch. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is because the communication between HD and FRS made things a little confusing at times and it took extra effort reexplaining and assuring everyone was on the same page. There was one edge that needed to be buffed that I noticed right before the installer left, but he dressed it up as soon as I pointed it out. Our final product is outstanding and we love the counter tops! This was hands-down the worst experience we’ve ever had — simply put, Front Range Stone was AWFUL. Their lack of communication, slow service and horrible customer service was one thing, but the sheer volume of mistakes they made (FIVE) and the poor quality of installation was unacceptable. After coming to our house four times to try and fix their mistakes, they finally had to contract an outside specialist to rectify all the problems, and he said it was the worst installation he’s ever seen — he thought it would take 2-3 hours to fix, but he was at our house for almost eight. It was disheartening and surprising to experience how rude Front Range’s customer service was; they took almost no responsibility for their mistakes and were incredibly rude and flippant about all the inconveniences they caused. While Home Depot’s side of the partnership was fine, I would highly recommend going anywhere else before hiring Home Depot/Front Range.

I do not recommend using low strength rated adhesive for counters that have juts or free hanging runs which is exactly what they insisted on doing.Even when I offered my own industrial adhesive to the installer, he refused to use it and cussed in Spanish. Little did they know, I am fluent. Very unprofessional. I finally offered cash to him for him to do it correctly for the sake of my client. I never actually heard from Front Range so called myself and was instructed to take pictures of the water drip page and submit via email before they could have plumber come out again. Didn’t hear back after sending the emails so called myself. They told me they’d have plumber call me, then proceeded to call Home Depot and relay message to us that this wasn’t covered through work warranty since we didn’t get new garbage disposal (wasn’t explained to us initially). Home Depot wanted to charge us $200 for labor to have Front Range come out again and wouldn’t guarantee they’d be able to fix issue. Home Depot did later offer to waive fee but I declined as I don’t want to do business with Front Range ever again. I wanted to relay how satisfied we were with the Granite installation that Front Range Stone did and the problem they helped resolve for us. Last month we purchased Granite Countertops as well through Home Depot and Front Range Stone performed the measurements and did the installation. Everything was measured perfectly and the countertops fit great when they arrived. The corners were rounded according to the specs we had requested and the installers did an excellent job of concealing the granite seam so that it’s not even visible. However, during the installation we noticed a blemish on the kitchen island stone that looked like a stain. We were disheartened when we saw this as it just didn’t look right as it did not match the other natural pattern of the other granite. I called Tim from Front Range Stone and explained the problem and that when we visited the stone yard (different company), they were not able to move the stone so we could examine the surface. I would recommend that anyone considering granite installation, be sure that the stone yard (not Front Range Stone in this case) is able to move the stone so you can examine the surface to ensure there are no blemishes or defects and that it looks good to you.Tim from Front Range Stone was very understanding of the situation and he was able to assist us in getting a replacement kitchen island granite island stone at no charge.
