Good Times Diner wasn’t much of a good time, but we made the best of the hand that was dealt to us.The Pros: Large menu with lots to choose from. Plenty of seating and it was well spaced out. Parking was easy. The coffee was good. The pancakes were outstanding. Really outstanding.The Cons: Good lord, where do I start? The service was fairly terrible. Our sever didn’t know the menu when asked about a dish or two. Then, she took our order wrong resulting in food we didn’t really want but were billed for. Prices on the menu didn’t match what we were charged for other items. They were out of bagels. We asked twice for “well done, crispy, bacon”, that didn’t happen. Drink refills were sparse. The tables were cluttered with everything you could possible want, and more cutting into the usable space. In the hallway to the restroom were soaking pans for what looked like utensils, and I think it probably has tadpoles in the water. Next to that was a large, open, garbage can where they scraped the waste and trash. It was out in the open and disgusting. Anyway, guess they are short on kitchen space if they have to keep that stuff in customer plain view. Perhaps we just got them on a bad day, that’s possible. Get burned twice, shame on me; we’ll try another spot next time.
Walked in and saw that it was a traditional diner and absolute love these things.I only had a small fry as we were waiting to get a haircut, but the service was phenomenal. They were on top of everything and totally above and beyond with making sure we had drinks, refills, and food.When I mentioned I was in a hurry, they visibly worked to do everything in their power to accommodate.Very happy and hope to come back again to try more food.
Dinner was amazing! Tara was a superb waitress too! Excellent food and service for reasonable prices. Way beyond impressed. I dont know what the other dude was complaining about in Prior post but I found them clean and very hospitable!
We used to go here all the time, and it was great! We went for the first time in a while today, and it was so bad. There were BUGS on the table and on my sons plate! The walls were cakes with old food and it was dirty. Well be staying away from now on.
My 10 year old daughter asked me to give a five star rating because the waitress at the good times diner did not give her a baby cup and kids menu like all of the other restaurants. So if your pre-teen is looking to be treated like an adult while dining, this is the place for you guys! Also, we counted our 278 shark teeth that we got at Blind Pass Beach.
Walked in and stood there for over a minute wondering if I should seat myself or wait to be seated. Finally I was told I could seat myself. How hard would it be to put up a sign?After that food was great. Great little spot.
This place is definitely a gem!! Prices are on point food is even better staff is friendly and courteous. Sarah our server was awesome. Hubby and I will definitely be going back! Good Times Diner is highly recommended.
So this was my first time there....with that being said no I will not be going back. I do have to tell you that this place was packed on a Sunday midday (which is usually a good sign) we had a big party of 6. But I was not impressed at all with my food or the portions. Service was ok nothing special. My mom had to send her food back. Kinda disappointed due to the fact this place was packed and i came hungry and left hungry. A no go for me.
Huge portions are crowd pleasers at Good Times Diner! I created a provolone & gyro meat omelet to be served with potatoes. The cheese wasnt melted, the potatoes were mushy, and the white bread was sourdough; but the overall experience was fine.
The service is AWESOME, food is great and the you cant beat the price. Great hometown restaurant. They remember your name and greet you when you come in.
Very great staff. I have been coming here to this restaurant for the past six years. Miss Dianne and Miss Dana are the best servers and Hostessess ever. Look for them and they will handle the team and customers very well.

Horrible place to go. I sat inside waiting 15 minutes to be seated, then wasn’t even directed to a table and was just told there was an open seat over there. Was given a dirty coffee cup by a busser and was told a server would see me shortly. I then proceeded to wait more than 30 minutes. No server came by even to greet me. As I looked around people who came in after me had already started eating. They’re understaffed but don’t want to admit it and instead of telling people there will be a 40 minute wait they’d rather just have unhappy guests. To top it all off people were coming in having to sit at dirty tables waiting 10+ minutes for someone to come by and clear it off. Stay away. I wish I would’ve saved my hour by going to McDonald’s and doing something productive.
Eggs Over easy were mostly hard, but everything else was fine.
The food was very good. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. All and all a really great place to eat.

Food was good. We had a nice breakfast. However, it must have been an off day with service. It took almost 1-hour for our eggs and pancakes to come out.
We go there to enjoy breakfast or lunch mostly..after Church. Never disappointed with anything... good food...right on the money service!
I ordered a hot open Turkey meal thinking I would get real Turkey but instead it was deli sliced turkey. Not very good but as I understand it in florida thats real turkey to them. Second time this happened to me so no more of that stuff. Also got a dirty look from a waitress that overheard us talking about it. Dont know if I would eat lunch there again

Would not go back again. Home fries were more like lumpy mashed potatoes but dry and no flavor. Got spinach and feta omelet which was also dry. The toast hardly had any butter on it. The only plus was the prices so if youre looking for cheap but tasteless food its the place for you.
Dont expect to be waited on first even if you got their first .Also trying to pay to get out is a joke know one wants to run the register. 😡also their condiments need to be wiped off and filled.

Fairly good food. Not a very clean restaurant. Husband said mens bathroom was nasty. Womens bathroom seem very clean. Waitresses are very friendly & helpful. Husbands tacos taste odd. Thought tomatoes were bad. Strange refried beans. I had grill cheese sandwich. It was ok. Fries ok.
We took a chance of stopping here for breakfast- not a good idea- for starters, my coffee mug had lipstick on it from the previous user, the food (bacon egg and cheese sandwich) was blah, toast tasted stale- definitely not a place I would recommend or revisit.

First time here and it was pretty good. Hubby had the Irish benedict and he cleaned the plate! My eggs and pancake were good as well.Service was ok. She never came back to check on us and just dropped the bill on the table at the end of our meal. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Who knows. Nice place. We will definitely go back and try it again.

My pecan waffle was awesome and our waitress was efficient and friendly.
We come here year after year for breakfast while on vacation. Diane (our favorite waitress) knows our food and drink orders even though she only sees us for two weeks out of the year. Coffee cup never goes empty and the friendliness and cleanliness make this restaurant our favorite breakfast spot. Not to mention the great breakfast specials - they have Mexican breakfast options and a different one is on special each day. Can’t beat the price and quality. Highly recommend! Try the breakfast quesadilla with the hot salsa if you aren’t shy when it comes to spice!

The waitress with a long braid at the bar was unfriendly. My first time here and she never greeted me. She simply handed me a very large menu and said “coffee?” 1 min later she asked if I was ready. When I said I needed a minute she didn’t come back for 15. Several wait staff at the bar but none offered to take my order or refill my coffee. I waited patiently while I watched two other couples come in, sit down and mumble about “poor service” and then leave. After 20 minutes, I put down a couple bucks for coffee and as I was leaving she said to me “happy Sunday“Won’t be back. Management needs to think about either hiring more staff, changing out the staff you have for friendlier staff or at least don’t have staff standing around while customers are waiting to have orders taken. Overall, not a great impression and I consider myself pretty easy to please. Too boot, the coffee was old and this was at 8:45 in the morning. Place needs a face lift.

They are very slow, went to eat breakfast and stayed at least 1 1/2 hours there. All we ordered was biscuits and gravy and 2 extra biscuits. Food 3as nothing special!

Diane is a magnificent waitress. Sometimes 12 of us come in and she knows what we want. Where else can you get that kind of service with a great, fun personality. The food is always good and to our liking. If there is a problem, it is corrected without question. There is always a bottomless cup of coffee, if that is what you like. Everyone is friendly there.
Went around noon. Got seated immediately. Others in my group got an omelet, corned beef hash and creamed chipped beef and said the were really good. The waffle was meh and the bacon was extra crispy. I had the open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. It was good but I think Ill try the breakfast if I come back again.
They have the best food. You walk in the door and see all the good looking deserts ALL HOME MADE EXCELLENT. I had there fish and it was enough for 2 people. My friend had there ribs and she said the same thing. I will go back.And would recommend the place to those who dont now about it. Need more help. The waitresses were going crazy the place was so busy.

We love going to Good Times diner for breakfast and dinner. The morning servers are outstanding! Not a big fan of having the evening servers wearing ties and black shirts. Sort of loses its homey feel.

The location is in a plaza. Were New to the area and wanted a quick bite. Seating is comfortable. Service is efficient and friendly. There are daily specials for lunch and dinner. Prices are very reasonable. The menu is diverse for adults and kids. Will be there again.

The place itself feels a little run down, but Ive never had bad food here. My friends and I used to go here frequently for breakfast. The staff is always extremely kind and accommodating. You get a lot of food for a low price. It fills up fast - especially on the weekends.
