Silly me thinking I spend 600$ on a mountain bike and it would be set up properly. Not to mention the parts that came on it arent the ones advertised online. Staff have the personality of a rock. I understand they offer free tuning after break in period however I will not be returning. The last thing I want them doing is touching this bike after I fixed it.

Took a small drive down to Martins. Had bought a bike from them over 20 yrs. ago. Walked in, picked out a Giant Sedona 21-speed, and test rode it. Very good. Sales people are great to deal with. Well worth my trip. When I need something, I will go here.

Even if this bike store is not near you, its well worth the drive! After searching everywhere for a bike within certain parameters, my husband found the perfect one there and ordered it online. They have not just the high-end bikes but bikes for all different level riders and any bike equipment, including clothing, that anyone would need. We called and arranged when we would come to pick it up so it was assembled and ready for a tester ride. The staff was so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Ill say it again, its worth the drive!

Amazing staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Matthew helped me with all of my questions. Took his time explaining many different aspects and tweaks to my own bike. I walked away with a deposit on a new bike after riding around on one. It is a major step up from what I am currently riding. Id recommend this place to anyone beginner to advanced.

Writing for both my Dad (Roger) and myself (Carol). I swear there arent enough stars to give this business. Just bought a recumbent bike and have purchased fitness equipment in the past. Would never go anywhere else. This is the way business should be done. You walk in and they take care of you like you are the most important customer in the world. The man who helped me with my recumbent was so patient, as I was getting it to rehab a knee injury. He was WONDERFUL. He also delivered it with another gentleman and they were fabulous. As they were leaving, my 97 year old dad who lives in the condo next to me stopped them to find out how he would go about having something specific done with his treadmill which I bought for him at Martins. They didnt just give him the price, they did it on the spot for a fair price and WOW what business does that? All I can say is that Martins treat their customers right, they run a business the way it should be run, they are the most honest people you will ever deal with and they always live up to their delivery times and they stand behind their excellent products. They also sell you the product that is right for you. They wont try to get you to buy the most expensive thing. I am using this for rehab so dont need all the fancy bells and whistles so the one I got that the salesman suggested is just perfect for what I need. A great quality machine but Im not paying for and not using tons of features I dont need. As soon as my knee is healed, Im treating myself to a new bike from Martins of course! Thank you Martins for being so dependably great!

I can’t say enough about the workmanship from this shop. My husband and I left our bikes at Martin’s for a general overhaul. My bike came back working better than it had worked new. I have always had glitches while shifting gears and during our 20 mile inaugural spring ride this year, all was smooth as can be!! Such a pleasure. Excellent people who know their product. I looked at both electric pedal assist bikes and convential bikes. I got a very good explanation on both. I am very happy with my purchase, a Class 3 pedal assist bike.Before leaving this store, have the experts there make adjustments to the seat and handle bars to match your body to the bike. I made the adjustments myself after I fell off. I had the tools and knowledge to do this but was too anxious to try the bike and it cost me some wounds. Nothing serious but painful. These people are very knowledgeable and fair.

We have had exceptional service at Martin’s. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and helpful in finding what you need. From our previous experiences elsewhere, Martin’s is the best. They also have a good selection.

Great experience. My husband and I went in an approximately 1.5 hours before closing. We worked with a gentleman by the name of Glen. He was knowledgeable of all equipment, and he freely gave his viewpoint on the advantages and disadvantages of floor models based upon our needs. He spent a considerable amount of time with us and we never felt pressured to buy. Great experience and we will continue to do business here again!

Best bike shop experience. The Martins have one of the best stocked bike shops we have been in. It has an excellent repair shop. While biking across PA, we had a flat tire and needed a quick tire change. They fixed it quickly and made some other bike adjustments that were needed. This is the friendliest and most helpful bike shop. I wished I lived locally so Martins could service all of my future needs.

They replaced my chain and tuned up the bike. Work that was done was acceptable but the chain still had the stock grease on it and not dry bike lubricant and they put a sticker on my bike frame with their logo and phone number. I know it’s just aesthetics but the sticker didn’t even peel off nicely so I now have residue on the bike frame.

I had them do a $60 dollar tune up to my E-bike. They did a ok job with that. My seat and handle bars were completely adjusted, they added a mirror but at the opposite of the one that was broken (wanted it replaced). I asked them about a speedometer issue, to which I was told the bike was cheap and things just break sometimes. Its a $1200 bike, not their brand, so I can only assume they dont like that. They do indeed sell $1200 E-bikes. The customer service seemed a little rude. I may go back cause unfortunately Im not sure of other places that could work on E-bikes besides myself doing maintenance.

Bought a bike from them a couple years ago went back to get a tune up and brake fix. Got it back today pretty much look brand new again I like the work they did

Overcharged me, after specifically specifying on the phone with them exactly what I wanted them to do - which was nothing, because they didnt have the parts for my forks. Well, they decided to do tune up (I literally just had one done somewhere else, just one ride on it since). And they tighten things down, to a ridiculous tee, aside from my headset, which they decided to leave loose after. Also, I recognize they are busy with the bike craze right now, but truly they couldnt care less if you are there or not. But hey, an 8th grade education doesnt get you too far.

They were extremely helpful with the purchase of my new bicycle. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to walk you through the process of getting the bicycle you need.

I went in there today to get my son a bike and although they were extremely busy they had great bikes and still had great service. They treat you like your the only one in the store and answer all of your questions and explain all the options. We walked in not realizing what time they closed and i was less than 20 mins until closing. I was so happy with the experience I ended up buying one for myself. When I had what I thought was an issue and called there an hour after they closed on a holiday weekend the owner was listening to my message and picked up and answered my questions knowing they are about to be closed for 5 days. Just an amazing experience and the entire family is there working extremely hard all the way down to the youngest members.

I dropped off a 20 year old Mt bike purchased from these guys for a well needed tune up. I was told it would be about a week and was given a preliminary review on what they felt it needed. To my surprise they finished it in one business day. Took it for a spin today and it rode like a new bike.

We have bought several bikes here for years (over 5). Our kids are outgrowing their bikes and we went to trade them in for a larger bike (after they told us when they outgrow them to trade in and they will give a good deal back). We took my sons bike back and they said they would only give us a small amount toward it in an exchange for an overly priced used kids bike. We then asked about my daughters bike because it is having problems with the chain and they said they would charge $50 to look at it. We explained our loyal business relationship and they gave the “shrug” and said there is nothing else they could do. We then went to the Bike Barn and they gave us much more than Martins offered for the trade in bike and and gave a new bike instead of a used bike like Martins was offering for a lower price. Highly recommend the Bike Barn! We have bought accessories at Martin’s and other items and they seem to operate differently than they proclaim their mission is...

I decided it was time to replace my 20 year old mountain bike that was purchased at Martins... Looked around at numerous shops and in the end chose Martins again. Mathew was awesome as I couldnt make up my mind...let me test ride 3 different bikes at different price points with no pressure until I made up my mind. Martins gets an A+ in my book.

You wont go wrong with Martins. Ive been to many shops and they know what their talking about. Vast knowledge of the bikes, how to service them properly, fit them to the person and just being good friendly staff. You wont be disappointed. Their prices are the best too. Get a Giant bike.

Best bike shop Ive ever seen.

This establishment has a wide variety of products in its well kept, clean shop. When I had an issue with the service I received on my Giant Revel 1, they were quick to correct the issue. If you are looking for a bike shop with friendly, helpful employees who care about their customers, I highly recommend you stop in. The young generation at Martins has great knowledge of the bikes and equipment and are extremely friendly and helpful and easy to work with. Being from Lancaster County and knowing that we have great areas to ride bikes and Martins is a great hometown business, I would highly recommend buying your next bike at Martins.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.We are currently in the market for a higher end book however I would NEVER, NOT EVER return to Martins.Several years ago, my husband brought in my daughters very small first bike because he was having trouble installing the training wheels. The technician looked shamefully at the bike and told my husband that he should throw his tools away because of the job he had done. These were his exact words. My husband was simply coming for help from a SERVICE company and was overtly humiliated for a service which he was willing to pay for. Absolutely unbelievable and unnecessary!We have shared this story with multiple people and discouraged them from coming to Martins. We regularly go to Weavers Bike Shop. He is super helpful, kind and has great prices.

Absolutely the most expensive way to go. We bought three new bikes a few years ago, from Martins spent $1,000. My wifes bike doesnt shift smoothly now, so I stopped by for some suggestions on how to get the bike working better.The only suggestions were to bring it in for service, prices start at .....I cant remember the starting price.I was looking for free expert advice. I thought buying local from a neighbor got me some credit.I gave the bike a tune-up with the help of a YouTube video.After sale service from Martins will drive you to buy your bike from EBay or Amazon.

A sales person was very rude. My 8 year old girl will never go in there again. The man was making fun of my nationality. I was translating. Very rude........

I had them come out to service a treadmill. They are the only place around that I could find and mine is now out of warranty. He definitely fixed one problem which was part of why I scheduled a service visit. But I was left with unresolved issues. Martins came back out and identified the second issue and resolved it. Ill definitely use them again for treadmill repair and will check them out when its time for a new one.

Bought an electric bike on sale. Went to pick up the bike and the shop never made adjustments specific to me. I would expect that after spending $1,000 on a bike it would include adjustments (pedals, seat, bars) specific to the new owner. Nope. Also, when placing order, the salesman didnt discuss mileage limitation. I discovered this on my own and questioned it when I picked up the bike. The response? I can upgrade for $300 which would make the total price $1300. $1300 was the original price which tells me that they probably downgraded the battery before putting the bike on sale. Buy your bike elsewhere!!.

Good selection (mainly Giant and Raleigh), fair prices, and an honest business. Oh, and theyre closed on Sunday in observance of the Lords day (it says this on their hours plaque).

I think its the only bike place close by that does work while you wait. We just use them for new tubes/tires and the little stuff. They have a big inventory for more serious bike people!

Nice bike selections and nice staff.....until you ask for a small discount! I really wanted to be a loyal customer but the way they show appreciation to their customers was quite disappointing. This year we bought three bikes from martins and tonight we were going to buy two more road bikes that would have totaled around $3,200. I just wanted $200 off this time since we would have spent well over $6000 in 4 months but they were too stingy to even budge. Granted both bikes were already on sale but really? $200 off for two bikes is going to send you out of buisness? Its not like i picked the cheaper bike of the two i liked on sale either. But its okay...id much rather spend my money at bike works in intercourse and buy a focus Cayo ultegra which is a better carbon frame and a cleaner setup than the defy advanced ultegra for the same price. Intercource bike works was willing to knock off $700 instantly hassle free for me to purchase from him. I just wanted to be a loyal customer to one place but now i know which place it is. Ill probably trade all three bikes to intercourse bike works and buy all new from them. For $200 you sure lost my vote. I was proudly advertising martins bike shop since i bought mine. But no more! Oh and when we bought the giant comax they asked if we were going to using the ride sense feature that CAME with the bike. We told them probably not right away since we didnt buy the computer. What did they do? Put it in a sandwich bag and tried to sell it as new!! Good thing we noticed it was gone because they made the excuse that they dont put it on the bike if the customer says their not going to use it. Still doesnt give them a right to take it off and sell MY options that was INCLUDED with my bike!! We called them and they said yea we have it. Stop in and well put it back on. And when we got there they took it off the shelf on the front counter display where they tried to resell it and installed it on the bike. I never questioned them about the shady thing they did. but now for a measley $200 Ill spill the beans.Answer to response. So it was on a special sale price and you couldnt take $200 off the bike. But you offer to take $50 off the sale price of the bike and a $150 gift card. If the math is correct, im sure its the same thing. I understand the marketing strategy there. But I would have rather taken the price off the bike and no gift card. You would have sold two bikes and made the same money. But regardless it was more of the fact that your brother felt it was more important to use a disrepectful and sarcastic tone of voice.Update 7/15/20Ive told my dad to stop shopping here but he is a forgiving guy. So on 7/15/20 he went in to look for a bike. His interest was for an electric bike. My dad showed me a picture of the bike they tried to sell him and it was a LIV girls electric bike!! I started making fun of him and said, see I told you they are shady. Why would Martins try to sell my dad a girls bike????? I still cant recommend this place on the fact that they are doing this kind of buisness. Most of their customers dont know anything about bikes and they take advantage of it. If you go to other bike shops that really care for their customers they will fit you into the right size bike and not just push you out the door with a GIRLS bike. He wont be buying from Martins and Ill make sure of it. If your in the area check out bicycle barn and shirks bike shop. They pay real attention to their customers.
