Great bookstore for finding Bibles and good Christian reading material. They are definitely improving the building and entrance with their renovations. Also their parking lot is MUCH improved. Check them out if you need a new Bible, study books or simply a good story book to read.

A super little local bookstore with a focus on home schooling. Tons of curriculum, books, and student supplies. Found an old Houghton Mifflin book we used for high school English. Really good stuff for educational venues - home or classroom. Other books as well - many faith-based. Tons of good guides for kids, too. Loved it.

They have a wide selection of Christian and nonfiction books, but not terribly organized for their used books. If you like a treasure hunt, this may be the place for you.

Very nice selection, some old, some new. Last visit found National Geographic dating back to 1930. Amazing place and we always meet the nicest people.

I never really took notice to this store since I have passed it several times in my travels over the years. Until I did a search for bookstores. Its a cute little store of used and new books and a few other items for scrapbooking and world maps. I found a few books, but I am sure if I spent the time I probably would have found a few other jems too. It is worth the look.

This is a cute place, it has more than just books. They also sell cards, school and office supplies, and stickers.

What a great little place to stop and browse for books! They also have boxes of greeting cards of all occasions. They have a vast selection of home-schooling supplies as the store is owned and run by Mennonites. The prices are beyond believable and I try to shop here before I go anywhere else when looking for reading materials.

Great place for books with a Kingdom Christian perspective

I continue to love the actual store itself but lately the staff has become quite rude and unhelpful. Also was not surprised but was very disappointed to see staff not wearing masks.

This store has tons of new and used book, as well as stickers and other school-type supplies. However, do not go there with children. This store is the opposite of kid-friendly. There is no kids section for little ones to look at books, no toy area for them, nothing to keep little ones occupied. Items such as balloons and whistles are displayed right at eye-level of young children. If your small child manages to snatch something like a balloon, and stick it in his or her mouth, (which of course happened to me today) the store will then make you pay for it. Perhaps they could store such items higher on the shelves. But then, I guess they’d sell less of them. Also, when you go there, it helps if you’re Mennonite if you want to be helped or shown any courtesy. In summary, the selection is nice; customer service, not so much.

An excellent little bookstore. They carry a wide selection of Anabaptist writings, both non-fiction and fiction. About half the store is of used books as well, some on Bible and theology, but much of it fiction from before 1970 or so. Many of the older books are young adult novels, plus timeless classics of American and English literature.

The definition of quaint, this Mennonite-run bookstore has different paper/school/office related products all under one roof that youd have to go to several different stores to get. Walk down one aisle and find every kind of gel pen, fountain pen, ball point pen, markers, highlighters, pencils, and chalk you could ever want. Its all leftover stock from the 80s and 90s, so its dirt cheap. Im talking 50¢ a folder dirt cheap. The same, every day quality products you could find at Walmart for half the price. Ever wanted to learn PA Dutch? Theyve got all the flash cards and workbooks you could want.AND theyve got maps! Good Lord, do they have maps. Maps of every State in the Union, plus maps of every county in Pennsylvania, some of just a city! To see Lancaster or York laid out flat, the whole thing, with every side street and creek, is HIGHYLY satisfying for someone like myself who often finds Google Maps on my smartphone to be unwieldy when down on the streets, hitting the pavement.Ive often wanted to learn the names of every river and stream in Lancaster county, but trying to do that on Google or reading the signs whilst driving over them is very ineffective. Today I bought a large, high quality map of the whole county and can travel and peruse the waterways to my hearts delight.

I could spend all day here. I actually stunned on to this place, and, boy, am I glad I did. As a home school parent, I was impressed with the supplies and used books section. There is also plenty of new books to choose from all in one store.

This is my favorite bookstore. We live 2 hours away and I get so excited when we are in the area and can go. It is wonderful for homeschoolers. They have a large variety of new and used homeschool books, as well as other books.

Good books, roughly sorted by subject-- but please, cant the used books be sorted alphabetically by author, within their categories? Its a challenge to search a dozen long shelves for one author.
