This is our second remodel business with Cloister Cabinetry. The first was our kitchen and a half-bath. This time, we did a complete remodel/enlargement of our master bathroom and an update of a guest bath room. Both turned out fantastic. We were very pleased with the design process, the quality of work and material, and of course, the final result. They made it a worry free process. We will definitely use Cloister Cabinetry again when needed.

We recently had Greg and his team add an island to our kitchen and new counters. We also had him redo our laundry room. The communication was excellent and the quality of work did not disappoint. We had a few minor things on our “hit list” when they were done but Jeremy addressed them quickly and to our satisfaction. We are really enjoying the extra space and beautiful counters. They will be our go to for any future needs!!

Craig was excellent to work with. We purchased an older home and needed a complete redesign of the kitchen and dining spaces. He provided us with multiple designs, was patient in our selection process and made sure we were satisfied with the final product. We could not be happier with our experience throughout the process and the final results.

Cloister Cabinetry handled our bathroom renovation with speed and precision -- all for a very fair price. Their selection of cabinetry products and vanity tops (we chose their granite) was wide and we were able to find something that matched our tastes perfectly. Beyond the install they stood by their products on our nit-picky callback and had the fix scheduled within a couple of days. Recommend.

We moved into our house with a very old kitchen and formal dining room the space was not very functional for us, so we wanted to remodel. Cloister Cabinetry gave us a beautiful kitchen space that we absolutely love! It has truly made our house the home we envisioned when we moved here. The guys were very helpful and worked hard to give us what we wanted. The before and after picture still amaze me! Thank you Cloister Cabinetry for giving us our dream kitchen!!!

We moved into our historic Bed and Breakfast and fell in love, the only thing that was not up to par was our crumbling slate patio and outside space. Cloister Cabinetry came over and designed a beautiful outdoor space that not only makes my heart happy, but is thoroughly enjoyed by our out of town guests! Best part they were neat, unobtrusive, respectful AND finished on time! Thanks to your team!

My husband and I bought a home that needed complete renovation, and we were therefore starting from scratch with our kitchen. We are both extremely particular in terms of quality, as well as aesthetics, and had somewhat of an idea of what we wanted but not a true picture of the final outcome. We researched and interviewed several cabinet companies, and choose Cloister Cabinetry as we felt they best understood our vision, and were able to turn our idea into a blueprint that we felt made most sense for the space we had. We found the rep to be incredibly knowledgeable, and he was able to quickly help us choose a cabinet style as well as draw up a layout that worked for our family. He suggested several different cabinetry options that we were able to incorporate into our design, that make for much more practical, functional storage space. Through the entire process, our rep stayed very close, and even spoke directly with our contractor on multiple occasions, in order to ensure we were getting the best design possible. And I cannot say enough about the quality of the cabinets. Not only are they beautiful, but they have withstood constant beating from our young children without even so much as a scratch. Most friends that enter our home first comment on our beautiful cabinets, and then ask where we got them! We plan to do another reno in a few years, and will definitely be using Cloister Cabinetry for our kitchen and bathroom needs!

We had a great experience working with Cloister Cabinetry on our recent kitchen project which involved replacing our counter tops, sink and cabinet hardware to create a more modern feel. Choosing Cloister Cabinetry was an easy choice as they are a family owned local business with a good reputation. We knew we wanted quartz counters and a butcher block island, but beyond that were all over the board with which quartz pattern/color to choose. After having many samples brought in to evaluate, we found an inspiration picture online and knew what we wanted to go with. Cloister found the hardware, butcher block and the quartz for us. We couldnt be happier with the results!

A friend had a kitchen remodel by cloister. it is beautiful. she said they were very helpful and was very pleased with the work. based on this favourable recommendation,we went to the showroom. it is beautiful, and saw many things that we liked.after talking to the representative,we set up an appointment to see & measure our space. when he arrived we had some questions about changing things.he didt seem to want to do anything else but replace what we already had. he had some suggestions but not what we were looking for.what we suggested, he seemed to disapprove, not because it was structurally not doable, but because he didnt like the look.the plan he sent was what he liked, not what we wanted.we went elsewhere and found someone more responsive and knowledgeable.maybe you will have a better experience if you know what you want, what can be done, and have no questions.

Cloister Cabinetry stepped in at just the right time for us and delivered a quality product at a reasonable price with excellent customer service. After a flooding disaster in our kitchen (and receiving the run-around looking into the repair route) we decided to take advantage of the opportunity and completely remodel it. Craig Scheirer was so helpful and made himself available for all my many questions, concerns, and endless emails. The work was done in a timely manner and their sub-contractors were careful and hard-working. After experiencing some issues with the final result, Cloister Cabinetry was committed to making it right and saw us through until it was done to our satisfaction. I whole-heartedly recommend Cloister for your next kitchen project, I promise you will be glad you did!

Our brand new house came with cabinets from this place. Terrible terrible quality. My wife taped a piece of paper with regular tape to the side of one of the cabinets and the finish came off. The finish was nothing more than a paper film (very very thin). They are not cheap either, I looked in to putting a kitchen island and they were charching me a crazy amount for the cabinets to match. You are better off going to just cabinets. Their finish is much better for half of the price you would think a local business wouldnt want to put their name on cabinets that are built cheaper than the ones you get at just cabinets

This is an old review but it still bothers me to this day-2 years ago we wanted to remodel our bathroom and had a few recess lighting fixtures put in our kitchen. Our 1st mistake was going to Home Depot who subcontracts out their work. We picked out our supplies and Cloister was going to install and complete the finishing work. We did our due diligence and looked at the reviews and History of Cloister. We gave the ok for them as sub contractors. Cloister sent out a few young men that were very polite and knowledgeable to give us an estimate, suggestions and the could and could not be done list. I was very comfortable in our selection. The morning the actual remodel started, 2 different gentlemen showed up. Again very nice. It was a father son tandem. The father was 72 and was just along to help his son. No biggie but i just didnt get the same warm sensation on the craftsmanship abilities. After talking with them for a few minutes, i come to find out that Cloister sub-contracted my project out to them because Cloister had other jobs. I really liked these 2 as people but the job was pretty horrific. The placed a new corner shower in which was about a 1/4 shorter than the old and I had extra flooring so they could have put replacement tile in on the floor and cut it nicely to the edge of the shower but they chose to put putty in the gap. Now every time you step near the shower, the floor gives and the sealant pulls away from the shower where any water on the floor easily runs into the gap which is a high probability for mold in the future. They were supposed to take off a damaged board that is between the sink and the garden tub. They did not replace it, they did not fix the damage (which was melted paint from a curling iron). Instead they took it off to put on the granite counter top to the sink, then they put it back on and just had it painted over. You still could see the damaged paint since they did not sand it but to make it worse I now have about 8 nail pop marks where they nailed the board back on. The granite has a very large gap in the corner and the there is a small gap most of the way along the granite back-splash and the vanity top. They used a clear silicone which has since dried and separated. No grout was used at all. the bathroom was left in a dirty disgusting mess when they were finished. Dust everywhere, bags and old nails and screws left in our new VERY EXPENSIVE vanity. No Clean-up was even attempted. I had to do that for the painter for the last day. The painter was ok but was rushed and just painted over everything as is. So if there was a blemish in the drywall, there wasnt time to fix, we will just paint over it. The 2 recess lights that I had installed in our kitchen was charged as 2 separate jobs. I think he charged 80 for each install which took them a total of 30 minutes to take the old out and out the new in but still was charged by the hour on each one and the rate was 80 an hour. When I questioned this to Greg from Cloister, he stated as soon as they start a job it is 80 an hour regardless if it takes them 10 minutes or the full 60 minutes. I get that, but fully disagree that putting the same lights in the same kitchen should have been 1 job not 2. I feel strongly that if Cloister would have done the job, it would have been done correctly but since we were JUST a Home Depot Sub-contracted customer and then Sub-sub contracted out without our knowledge or approval, we were just not that important. Greg the project leader at Cloister seemed to be somewhat short on patience with working with us and he called minutes after the painter left and asked if the job was done and I said yes and that was it. Between Home Depot and Cloister We spent 10k and really only had a new vanity, sink and medicine cabinet to show for our troubles. After a few weeks and really starting to see all the horrible craftsmanship come to light, I did try to reach out about our dismay to Cloister and Home Depot. NOTHING!!! So now every morning I get to be frustrated over this bad experience!!!!!!!!!!!
