Today I feel like I hit the culinary lottery. They had a Spicy Crab Corn Chowder ( very very good ), then they had a smoked brisket on a Kaiser . I’ve had BBQ around the country and that’s was the best tasting brisket I ever had .. neither of these are on the weekly rotation . Hence the lottery reference.Hope they make both of these more often and maybe put them on a weekly or bi weekly rotation .
What a great surprise on a Monday morning. The breakfast menu has a number of tasty choices and the staff were super friendly and fun. The decor is quaint and building is open and airy. The pancakes with bacon were a win - and more than could be finished. There are healthy options as well. Come for the food and stay for the people watching. :)
Love this place. Great, quick, friendly service. With simple and DELICIOUS food! The Ruben was excellent. Even the simple grilled cheese was great! Lobster bisque had a thick, pasty texture, but it was tasty. Husband had the vanilla milkshake. I had a sip and thought it was yummy!
The BEST choice for always delicious food, great atmosphere, and incredibly friendly staff! My grandfather used to love the Udder Choice, and we have been coming here my whole life. Don’t miss an opportunity to enjoy a meal here, you will leave happy!!

Ive been here many times throughout the years since I was a kid, and never had a bad experience. the rustic atmosphere is adorable, the food is delicious, and so is the ice cream! the prices are very fair as well. a clean family friendly place I will always love!
Never had a truly bad experience here. Ice cream is super delicious and so is the food. Ive ordered countless milkshakes here and I absolutely loved them. Only issue Ive had is the attitudes of the people working the ice cream portion of the establishment. Other than that, I look forward to coming back again!
It would really be nice if the person who answers the phone to take takeout orders doesnt answer it hello....and says the business name instead. Otherwise as always the sandwiches were wonderful.
This was a nice stop on a long drive. Nothing fancy, simple sandwich and soup place. Everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches and the spicy crab soup was delicious. Added bonus was the really great ice cream and sundaes, combine that with friendly service and you have a winner.
Small size menu, but everything is good. Always have 7 plus types of soup. Great staff
Favorites are; Breakfast, Turkey Croissant sandwich, chocolate marshmallow ice cream and all the wonderful soups. They are one of the few places that know how to do things correctly.Why? Sliced, white turkey meat on Thanksgiving. Homefries that are nice and crispy brown
It was my first time to visit this restaurant and I will ABSOLUTELY BE GOING BACK! I enjoyed the food VERY MUCH and the staff were very friendly and well informed as to the menu and ingredients. It was very clean and well kept and the decor is so very cool! It was very busy at the time but we were taken care of wonderfully and the food was delivered to us extremely quickly and was delicious 😋!!
Food was good, french toast was mushy without putting syrup on it. Serve was good and the atmosphere was great. Clean restaurant with friendly servers.
Good breakfast food! Pancakes were too heavy for me, but the eggs and sausage were delicious!!! Hubs had an omelette and pancakes, no complaints from him at all.Took off a full star for the weak, sub-par coffee. A diner should have truly amazing coffee. They did not.

Hadnt been here in years. We were definitely not disappointed. Our server was great. Not to mention how wonderful my Coffee Hot fudge Sundae was. The $$ were very reasonable

Honestly the food is okay and the servers are usually very friendly, but I dont think Ill go back any time soon. Why? Because several times over a year I was handed a high chair with NO safety belts with the high chair itself saying, serious injury can occur if a child is not properly strapped in. I was just there recently and was handed a high chair, again, with no belts. I asked the hostess for one that would have belts, and she again gave me one without. It was the third time around that I finally got one with belts. I have messaged them twice about the issue and have never received an answer. I really dont understand why child safety is not taken seriously here.

We went to get ice cream but the lunches looked so good that we had some awesome soup, abig fat sandwich and a wonderful ice cream 🍨sundae. Plan on another visit and will bring friends. We are very pleased with the food and service😀😃😄

I have been to this eatery twice in the past few weeks. I was surprised the first time to see most booths occupied w/ o dividers above the normal height of the booth benches to keep exhalations from one table separate from those of the next. Better would have been seating fewer booths. It was lucky for me that a table was available and no other party was at nearby tables. The food was quite good...I wish they served fries, but chips are ok. The burger I had was very good. The BBQ was packed too generously onto / into the bun....it fell out all over the plate (luckily not in my lap or down the front of me). The BBQ tasted good, though...just a little unwieldy to manage, thats all. Prices are very reasonable. Its a real shame that I cant do dairy b/c the claim to fame here is a fabulous ice cream selection. Will return but I will aim for off- peak hours.

I made my own sandwich- warm turkey with bacon and provolone cheese on a pretzel roll. It was fantastic! Had the udder split for dessert. Also very yummy! Their ice cream is so good! 👍
Went with a large group, they put us all in a separate room. Service was good and so was our ice cream.
Delicious homemade soup (try the butternut, you wont be sorry!) and sandwiches. The Reuben is delicious. Lots of meat and sauerkraut piled on toasted bread. Just the right amount of dressing. Sweet tea completed my meal which hit the spot on a drizzly gray afternoon. The sandwich was accompanied by a pickle and chips. Cute rustic decor and sundaes made from local ice cream that looked delicious but that I had no room to try after my meal.
Best home fries with creamed beef, you can actually see the dry beef. Most awesome turkey club ever. They serve coke and for extra cost make it a cherry coke the way they used to do. Only place around for this.
We had the gyro, roast beef club and a banana milkshake and couldnt be happier! The serve was attentive without being smothering and the atmosphere welcoming, clean and cozy. It was our first time going there and well definitely be back - and often!
The Bull club sandwich did NOT disappoint and neither did the service. Great place, great food, great service, and great atmosphere! Peanut butter milkshake was a perfect ending.
My wife and I come here every week and all the food is delicious. Waitresses are always nice and service is quick. Also everyone there seems to enjoy it and not get caught up in these silly things people are making way to big of a deal of.

Boston clam was not good. It tasted like it was a week old. very fishy taste and texture was gooey. Turkey bacon club sandwich was toasted. Was not written on the menu that its toasted and wasnt asked if toasted or not toasted preference. Long wait for waiters to come around to your table to either bring you something or check on you. When asked if someone needs a refill one person in the group said no and she walked away not waiting for an answer from anyone else.

Fantastic place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Opening at 5:30am makes it a great stop before trips or weekend events! Always great specials and menu options. Great value for your money, and quick service. Easy to be in and out with a full meal in 30 minutes or less.

We just happened to stumble upon Udder Choice on our recent visit to Lancaster County and Im so glad we did. It was such a lovely surprise!Their menu is composed of simple items made well. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had the Chop House Potato Soup which was rich and creamy with big pieces of potato and a nice smokiness to it. Then all three members of our party ordered turkey clubs. The turkey was so moist.The only thing that made me sad is I didnt have room for dessert. They make their own ice cream from cows on the property and it looked fantastic. Its at the top of my list of things to eat on my next visit!

We had the pleasure of eating dinner at the lovely outdoor seating area this evening. Our son has multiple food allergies, and our server (Danika) was so helpful, understanding, and attentive to his needs. Our sons first attempt at ordering an entree was unsuccessful because of an allergen, which Danika discovered for us (thanks for sparing us!). She was quick to order his replacement entree, which arrived right away. All of our food was outstanding; very high quality and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return and highly recommend the Udder Choice!
