This had to be the best Giant I have never been to. Very clean and organized. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. There were handing samples out at the deli. It was nice! Ill be doing my grocery shopping here in the future

Such a clean grocery store with helpful employees in the self check out lane. Friendly lady in the deli. Good weekly sales and buy one get one savings. Only problem I had was they were out of stock for some of the sales items.

I visited do to ease of parking and in same center as my bank. Giant runs great sales but overall prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area.

I love Giant. I am from Western Pa. & we dont have Giant in our area but when I am in Eastern Pa. I go to Giant & I love it. Big selection of groceries & the deli has Boars Head lunchmeat which is the best. The meat department has fresh meat & poultry. The only thing they dont carry & I wish they did is Belle & Evans chicken. The best tasting chicken I ever had. Hopefully someday they will carry it. If you never shopped at Giant try it & sure you will love it.

Always a great selection of gluten free foods

Order pick up is a joke! Substitution for ham lunch meat and RUDE customer service ask how it works and if can not get another ham. Istead of explaining she was RUDE saying it means it was not in stock.

Their produce looks AMAZING, I keep coming back here for the apples because everywhere else and theyre brown inside. But these are perfect. Maybe just put instructions on Marty to let customers know what to do if theyre in Martys path because that definitely freaked me out

Operator step was very professional, pleasant and despite technically issues. Your operator remain patient, respectful and explain what why the long wait.

Appropriate temperature. Not crowded at all. No problems finding anything I needed. Overall great experience.

The customer service was great and Miss Emily kendall was very kind during my visit. She went above plus beyond on assisting the elderly each time that I shop there. The management staffs should recognize her as an exceptional employee. Miss Emily need to be employee of this year and be given a raise.

You know, Giant is one of the best markets around. The veggie and fruit selection is always good, the house brands are just as good as the national brands, and when they have a special, its worth the trip. I really like that they carry Boars Head meats & cheeses and the house made bagels are great. Who cares about Wegmans when we have Giant? And you can get a discount on your gas.

Great deals! The one week they had buy 5 vitamin waters and get 10 free!! Yes you read that correctly, I did not accidentally switch it lol. Theyre doughnuts are always fresh and tasty. Beware of the robot 😅 First time I saw it freaked me out haha. I think it cleans or something, but it seems to get me every time lol because I forget about it!

Very clean and organized. Produce was very fresh, we purchased meats as well along with household items. Everyone there were polite and helpful as well. All around a very nice experience.

Good place but my biggest complaint is it’s annoying that they don’t keep at least one register open until closing. Just close early if you don’t want to have a cashier stay that late. Most staff are friendly but others are too busy staring at their phones.

Great location, preferred over the over crowded Walmart, prices and selection fit everything I needed in a pinch when I had to make dinner for a few extra friends. Quick in and out, well since it was my first time in this store I had to ask for a few things location. This is not my normal store.....

Produce is always looking great and fresh. Not busy Sunday nights when we like to shop, and is still stocked.

Compared to most food stores, they do a great job at keeping the shelves stocked. Have yet to have a bad experience, even when its packed. Thanks ephrata giant keep up the great work

Kind of odd, but... Apparently my wife put in an online order, there was a mixup, the order wasnt ready, she canceled and just got her stuff. No big deal. Sorta thing that happens all the time.Jenna, who was apparently in charge of the matter, hand wrote an apology note and mailed it off with gift card. I dont think Ive ever even heard of that. Crazy nice thing to do. So where I used to just go to whichever store was on the way to accomplish the entirety of my to-do list, I go to Giant now. One good turn and all...

Its a great store and i love feeling like I can afford to shop there. Seems (to me at least) significantly more expensive than Walmart which is just down the street but you can find some deals and they have a really nice produce section. Other than that, I mean.. Its cleaner and a bit more modern than some other grocery stores around here.

This was a convenient grocery store to send my family to go shopping for me because im medically gluten free and they had a separate gluten free section. However, recently in there gluten free section on multiple occasions we have found the they are stocking regular gluten filled waffles in ALL 3 spots where the tag clearly says Vans GF waffles. After seeing that the wrong waffles were stocked again. We tried to ask someone to fix it and see if they had the correct waffles. No one knew how to fix it. So i guess Giant just doesnt care!

Forgot a bag at self check out and the girl saw it and ran it out to me before i got to the car

This is a very clean and organized store. I am disappointed today, Christmas Day, that you have listed your hours as open and you are not. It is great when stores close on holidays so their employees can be home with their families but you should not have marked yourself as open till 6.

No one on the sales floor to assist in helping find items. Out of stock on discount items while having name brand three times the price. You would think you could expect more from a store that has a robot as one of its workers.

Although I like the store and the ok selection of organics the deli still has some speed and sanitation issues to improve on, but my biggest complaint is a certain cashier with a 2 letter name that is highly annoying and slow, I am sure she is a nice person, but I don’t want to hear her life story every time I buy groceries, also my kids when they are with me do not want to be asked unusual questions or have awkward conversations with strangers. When said person is on the register there is always a few other employees that could also be on a register but they seem to just watch from the service desk and make fun of this cashier, and also seem to enjoy my misery as a customer having to listen to her. Please coach your employee(s) on professionalism! For the amount of money I spend in there I should not have to endure these interactions.

The employees need to be more lively especially the customer service staff. 🙄

5 tries to get our fee turkey. Just over 20 lbs. They had 5 different versions what to do about the over weigh. 6 different people and 6 different storirs. OMG

I am editing a previously 5 star review that I gave a year or so ago. Things have changed. The store used to be friendly and efficient. It is no longer either. Morale is clearly low and customer service is frustrating. Previously, I never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes but now there is often only one checkout open while multiple employees ignore customers. The self checkout cashiers used to be polite and attentive. Always acknowledged you. Now, only a few do. The last straw for me was overhearing a superior berate a younger employee in the most demeaning manor. As someone who worked in retail for decades, I know this points to BAD management. I dont accept the inevitable excuse of there is an employee shortage while there are clearly enough employees in the store. I cant blame the employees for lackluster service after seeing how they are being treated. I caught up with that poor kid and told them that kind of treatment is not normal or acceptable. They seemed shocked to hear that. I am writing a few letters to corporate. Curious to see how far up the bad management goes. Fortunately I hear a new grocery store is coming to the area.

Great produce. Sushi is the best and Wednesday is 4.99 fresh sushi special. Its amazing. The employees are great. The gentleman that gets the carts is the sweetest person. Love my Giant

I was impressed with the cleanliness and Covid Safe Procedures. I was not happy when I opened my case of soda and found all crushed cans. The box was slightly damage when i took it off the shelf but it didnt look as bad as contents. Probably more the blame in cheap cans versus Giant.

I had a very diverse grocery list with out of the norm items on it. I didnt even know what some of the items I was purchasing were (creative meal planning this week)! The associates were so helpful, I felt like I had personal shoppers! Such friendly and helpful employees at this location!

Great food selection and overall shopping experience. Facilities are very clean and always polite people to assist you. Congested vehicle access just outside parking lot.

Very large selection of food and good prices. We shop at Aldi normally for groceries, but for anything we cant find at Aldi, Giant is always the next option.

Full service supermarket. Good selection of meats, cheeses, breads and fruits and vegetables. Prices are comparable to other supermarkets. Loyalty program. I bought Butchers Choice strip steaks and they were very good quality.

This place was huge, like it was a enormous store, just completely massive. So big and large it was beyond words. If only there was a word to describe the largeness of the place...

This was posted by a concerned customer who was at Giant Ephrata this morning.I thought you should see this.Made a quick trip to Giant this morning for a few things. Happy to report that fruit/veggies, eggs and some meat products are plentiful. Dry cat/dog food and cat litter almost entirely wiped out (some wet food there). No TP or paper towels. No rubbing alcohol or alcohol wipes (or other disinfecting wipes) to be had. Had to improvise my cooking plans a bit, but overall, was better than I expected. Store was busy but not packed. (Cashier told me that the hoarders showed up for store opening at 6 AM) and (crowded out the seniors that were supposed to get priority at that time). STOP IT PEOPLE!!

People were friendly with smiles... prices reasonable an all the ladies at check outs had great smiles.... loved it their!!!!! Thanks again ladies!!!!!!

Beautifully organized and the cashier that attended to me reminded me that I had a free turkey because of hitting the point mark. She made my day because I was not able to get a turkey for Thanksgiving. Now I have one because of her caring and telling me about my points thank you Giants for trainings her to go above her just taking payment. I am so happy.

Get home you find that they did not deduct for the two-for-one on a couple of items, ($12.00 items). I did phoned the store when I got home and he told me next time I come in which will be about a week or so, to show them the receipt and explain what happened, so I will see when I return.Follow up, returned 2 weeks later and I showed them my receipt and they gave me a refund, all is good

I think all my Giant Food Store experiences have been positive, but I must say that this location in particular seems to have the friendliest, most helpful associates that you could hope for.Were a routine-shopping Giant family, so this is our go-to place for the regular order. I do sometimes buy meats elsewhere, and some packaged foods (like cereal and pasta/beans/grains) are purchased more cheaply, elsewhere. But for everything else, I shop Giant.Customer service is great at this location, for sure. Tonight I had to exchange some russet potatoes. No questions asked, painless return!My only complaint about this location is actually something they probably cant control: the wireless reception is so spotty in-store that my Giant app hardly ever works. So I miss out on coupons, etc that would be loaded on my app. Bummer.

There employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Stores very clean and easy to find things that you need. And the store always has good sales at least every time that Ive gone in there.

This is my other go to store for after hours shopping. Walmart is just down the street, but I shop at Giant when I have a primarily grocery type list of things to get. Wonderful selection of produce and just about everything else. Deli will slice your selections to the thickness you desire. Cashiers are typically pleasant and friendly.

Great store, very clean. Honestly just feels brand new. If your just getting food or snacks I definitely prefer going here over the Walmart down the street. I went later at night but the staff members I encountered were very nice and offered to help.

Nice store with gas station - super convenient. Friendly staff. BUT, this store chain needs to work on their self service register, not user friendly like Walmarts.
