Love working with this team of professionals. Most importantly they do share their many years of experience and help to find the best solution for their clients. One of not many who gets the job done!

The community I live in (Crossings at Sweetbriar) had another pool service maintaining our community pool. They ruined it by not knowing how to close a pool. Aqua Docs came in and re-plastered and filled the pool in two days. It looks better than new. They know their stuff when it comes to caring for a pool.

We have used Aqua-Docs for over three years...opening and closing our pool, repairing our pool pump and installing a heat pump for the pool. Prior to this year, theyve been very good and helpful. Like someone else mentioned, a little rough around the edges, but they seemed to do a good job. Not always the most thorough, but got it done. Didnt always thoroughly clean out the filtration system when they closed the pool. Left exposed wires when they rewired our pool pump. We spent a lot of money using their services and thought we were a valued customer. This year, I wanted to convert my pool to a salt generator. Called them around April, talked to a person in the office and they said the owner would contact me...never happened. Called them multiple times after that and was never able to talk to the owner and he never called me back.I was very disappointed that they didnt seem to value me as a customer.I will not be utilizing their services again and am in the process of finding a dependable pool company that values their customers.

First call them to ask what they will be charging you for a service call. Here at my residence for 30 minutes to take old hot tub pump out. Charged $147.50. They proceeded to tear the pump apart and charged $85 with out my consent. They went with a new pump (motor assembly $379) was installed with a hefty markup cost. Was at residence for 30 minutes for the install but charged for one and a half hours of labor (1.5 hrs cost $127 dollars). Total bill $783.34Gary pressured my spouse to pay the bill before I had a chance to look at it. Like another customer said Gary is condescending. Future customers be warned. Aqua-Docs sent an email asking if their service wowed us. I can truly say the price gouging bill did WOW us. Never again will I use Aqua-Docs service.

Poor overall experience dealing with them. After my first call to schedule an appointment for a broken drain plug, they never showed up. Their rep failed to schedule it on their end. Called back to reschedule and they showed up as Re-scheduled. My tub has 3 drains. The service technician located two and wrote a note about it (I was away). But they failed to locate the third which was faulty. Called them back after trying to fill the tub, to inform them the drain plug was still not fixed. They came back out a third time and this time it was fixed. Finally their communication was sub-par. During this process I initiated all correspondence. Their reps never once called to give any status updates. They would do well to improve on this. One good thing was working with Kelly their rep who I scheduled with the second time. She was sweet and made things happen. Hire this company at your own risk. It’s likely this could be a one off experience, as I am not one of their regulars. From a business standpoint this not how one wins new clients.

I gave this company a 1 star not just because they wired the pump they installed wrong the first time and had to come back, but for the pricing of parts purchased. They replaced my pump on the hot tub, when they were out to identify the problem, they said it would be around $400. When the invoice came the pump alone was $598.00, a 50% markup. I called and discussed the high price as I found the pump online from distributors and the manufacturer for between 325 and 375. They sent me the invoice and proudly showed the price they paid was $411 with shipping. I understand that a business needs to pay its employees, but 50% markup for getting online and ordering something seems a bit high, so if you do business with this company, I would suggest ordering the parts yourself and if necessary having them install them, I doubt I would do business with them again given this type of price gouging.

I have been doing business with AquaDocs for 3 years now. They normally open and close my pool. the service I receive normally is pretty good. The service techs are knowledgeable and fast but pretty rough around the edges so I wouldnt recommend leaving your kids around them (A lot of foul language and stories of guns and hurting people). Normal guy stuff I guess? Maybe not while at a customers house? This year they raised there price over 100 dollars for a pool opening. I was ok with it especially since they gave me a discount because I use their service every year since I bought the house. I dont think I will use them again though. When I called the first time to schedule the pool opening, I informed them that my pool cover has water and some foliage on it and weather or not that would be an issue? They assured me that it would not be and that the service techs would take care of it. Well everything was dumped in my pool and now sits at the bottom. Kind of sucks! I did call to complain and received very good customer service over the phone. The ladies answering the phone calls are very polite and easy to talk to. However the issue was not resolved. I was told they will add a note for next time so it wont happen again and that it wasnt apart of the service to clean debris off the cover. Well why does it cost an extra 100 dollars to take the cover off then? Just not ok with it. Guess ill try another company and see how it goes............Update........After getting home for the day I discovered that the pump was left to run with everything left in the pool. All the pool jets were not flowing. The pump was in the red zone for pressure. Surprising! I would expect more from professionals. Its one thing to not do a certain things in a job but they should of known better to leave the pump one with the water so filled of junk. Could of cost me a whole new pump and filter set up. Beware guys!

Horrible service - I still have leaks. Over two weeks to get our hot tub up and running and when I noticed water level dropping I checked the underneath myself and found at a minimum of four leaks. Owner refuses to send some one out fix leaks for another three or four days. This is leaking into my basement and all he says is get a pump and pump it out. Gary is very rude and very difficult to work with. STAY AWAY.

Two years ago, I called and asked for service on my spa. It took me three calls before I finally talked to Gary, who is apparently the person who fixes spas. He finally came out and was able to fix my spa by replacing one of the three pumps. I spent nearly $900 for this “service”. With that said it seems that spa repair companies are hard to come by, so this year when my spa pump stopped working, I called them back. After leaving messages on three occasions, I called back in a 4th time but my call did not ring in their Ephrata office, but in another location. When the lady I spoke to answered, I told her I was looking for someone in their Ephrata office. She said that she could take a message and have them call me. Whenever i told her that I have already left three messages, she said “Sorry, but that is not my problem that they are not calling you back. Do you want me to take another message?” To which, I hung up the phone. Beware folks, this company sucks. I called Honey Spas is Mohton PA and got a friendly and helpful voice on the other end of the line and have someone coming out to service my spa within a week of my initial call. Adios Aqua Docs! I will forever curse your name and recommend your competition!

I had to find out this company wasnt hiring me through the billboard outside his business in Ephrata. Such a disappointment to find out that way, very unprofessional and obviously a waste of my time interviewing with the owner!! Hope he doesnt run his business so unprofessionally. Good luck to anyone that works or deals with him!!
