Brought my 2021 Corolla to this shop for a paint job on my rear bumper and Tarek the manager was accomodating and values his customers, he even gave me a discount for being a first-time customer and asked me how much Im willing to pay and If I have other estimates from other shops. It was a competitive price and the job was excellent and It only took them 2 days to finish compared to other shops.The paint matches with the factory paint and you can tell that Its like it never happened. Ill definitely come back here for any paint jobs of my car.

Took my 2020 Corolla Hatchback here for a dent repair and couldnt be happier with my experience. I was sent a quote the same day I sent them pictures online and it was almost half the price of other shops I went to. The dent repair and paint are flawless. Worked with Tarek first on getting a quote and did all he could to give me a great price that no one else could beat. When the work was done, it was done 3 days sooner than they told me and the work was fantastic as if it never happened. I have a difficult pearl white color to match and the color matching was factory grade. I plan to come back to this place for any of my body work and refer business to them. The other reps in the office were friendly and easy to work with as well.

If I could rate this place with ZERO stars I would! Stay away from this shop If you want quality work. They cut corners and have no quality control over their work. My cars bumpers were painted without being removed, the paint was rough and bubbly, and to top it off the clear coat was smeared all over my car. My car came out of there looking worse than when I initially took it in.

This place is awesome. The owner is always available to walk you through the process and help with any questions or concerns. San Diego Auto Body & Paint is awesome! Found them online as one of the top rated body shops in my area and decided to check them out.Recently took the rear spoiler off of my 2002 Mustang. As with any older car, rings are left where the spoiler used to sit. Looked up body shops in the Escondido area and found San Diego Auto Body & Paint. Was greeted by Tarek and I started to ask for advice as to how I would approach the issue with the rings left by the spoiler. He was very friendly and offered to try buffing it by hand to see what he could do. We could see that it was removing a little bit of the ring but more work would be required. Tarek told me to come back during the weekday and theyll take care of it. Brought my car back in, talked to Elisabeth, and she immediately had Salomon work on it. They did a great job and I am extremely happy with it. Must have only taken Salomon minutes where it would have taken me hours to do.The people at San Diego Auto Body & Paint are great. Even though I only had a limited interaction with them, it was enough to showcase their quality of craftsmanship, professionalism, and service. Definitely will come back if I need any more work done. The Manager (Tarek) was great to work with. He was Honest, Open, answered questions and even spoke his mind. It was nice to deal with somebody honest whom also speaks his mind, and who not only gives the good news, but also the bad news and then the solution. They (the manager) were really reasonable and made me ponder why cant more places actually treat customers like a customer?I wish more businesses were run by people like Tarek.Oh, and look out for his really cool door opening dog. The manager has this pretty cool dog, big boy, who opens doors all by himself, its a neat thing to watch such a smart dog go through a buildings doors, opening each of them like a person. My Mazda sustained front end damage and my daughter took the car here for repairs that were covered by my insurance company. My car had four identical Michelin brand tires in good condition and one of them had to be replaced. When my daughter brought the car home I noticed that the tire that was replaced, was replaced with an off-brand tire. When I called the shop to inquire, I spoke to Terek and after asking him why the tire had not been replaced with the same one that was damaged, he said that he would replace it but that I had to leave the car for a day. He also referenced that there were other more important things in the world to worry about but that he would get it replaced. I bet that if it were Tereks car and he was dealing with this, he wouldnt like the service, the customer service nor the work that was done.My son in law who is a certified Ford/Mazda mechanic with a dealership then serviced the brakes and noticed the shoddy work pointing out that all of the parts replaced, including the headlights, were after-market parts. He also noticed that many of the cosmetic parts and work was not securely attached with the proper bolts and tabs.Maybe they do better work on the higher end models, I dont know but if thats the case, too bad for those of us with the economy cars. Treat your customers like you would like to be treated. The insurance company covers and pays for OEM parts and original equipment...replace the parts and equipment with same, not after-marker parts that do not conform to standards just to make money on the parts as well.I ended up not returning to get my tire replaced so that Terek would not hold my car another day just to get the tire replaced. I figured I did not want to get punished further for complaining about something that should have been done right from the beginning. STAY AWAY from this business!

Tarek was absolutely wonderful. I showed up without calling and he came out and looked at my car immediately. My car was hit while parked by the beach and had awful black marks all along the drivers side, but Tarek pulled out some car polish and a cloth and rubbed them out right there on the spot for free. He then gave me an amazingly low estimate to pull the dent out. He was friendly, honest, and not pushy at all. My boyfriend and I were so pleased with the service that we may even bring his car down from Oregon to be fixed.

Horrible customer service, super disrespectful and condescending owner, Tarek. Super unhelpful and continually lied about the repair progress of my vehicle (said that it would be done Monday, it wasnt, then said early Tuesday, it wasnt, and when I visited the shop they hadnt even begun repairs -- didnt even have the paint color they needed to start!! ) then accused me of not understanding the process when I wanted to take my car and business elsewhere.Avoid!
