This was a great company with awesome tasting spring water. The company sold all their customers to NESTLE without even letting its customers know. I received an email from Nestle that said I have a delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I was very surprised because I never signed up nor was I notified that Palomar Spring Water sold us out. I canceled Nestle and I tried Sierra Springs Spring water. $8.50 per 5gal with no contract. Sierra Springs is supposed to be spring water from Palomar mountain but doesn’t even come close. It definitely doesn’t taste crisp and clean. It taste more like metal, I finally found a local privately owned company“Conscious Water Company” price is reasonable and they deliver for free. The water taste good and has 2 added minerals to make it alkaline.It’s not spring water but it’s better than the water at water.com.

You can still go to the self service kiosk. I believe it’s still mountain spring water. Also, the machine does take credit and debit cards regardless of the ‘cash only’ sign posted. When the sun is full force, the credit card machine won’t work. I enjoy my every 2 months drive to San Marcos to fill my 5 gallon bottles. No delivery services offer spring water for the price and I live in El Cajon and even with my gas and time, I save BIG time.

We used to LOVE Palomar Spring Water. Our water was delivered in glass bottles which we paid extra for and their customer service was amazing.Recently they were bought by Nestle. They did not let us know they would be delivering Arrowhead water now in plastic bottles. They also did not pick up the 20 glass bottles we had waiting outside for them. When I called to ask about this they said that they dont deliver glass bottles. I then asked about the deposit we had put down on those glass bottles and they said they did not know anything about that, would not offer a refund on those and that I could bring them to recycling. TERRIBLE customer service and would urge to stay away from this company.

I am so sad to see that Palomar Mountain Water has sold to big business. One of the main reasons I loved this company was it was local. Our mountain spring water is amazing! I was willing to pay the price of delivery and everything to have apart of that wonderful crisp Mountain Spring Water. I am canceling my contract with ReadyRefresh. Thanks no thanks.

I loved the water, but Palomar Mountain was dishonest to the very end. I called in late December to increase # of bottles in my next delivery because the product was great, and even though I spoke to 2 people nobody bothered telling me that my account was sold to a giant competitor and that I wont be getting Palomar water anymore. Judging by other reviews here these guys ripped and ran without so much as a heads up to many loyal customers. Not surprisingly they did charge me $51 for the delivery they KNEW they wont be making. I am disputing that charge with the bank because its basically fraudulent. So much for more ethical smaller businesses.

I was a very satisfied customer of Palomar Water. Their Spring Water was crisp, pure, and locally owned. I had no complaints, that is until they decided to sell to ReadyFresh, a subsidiary of Nestle, a company know to engage in child labor, unethical promotion, manipulating uneducated mothers, pollution, price fixing and mislabeling. I am now searching for a new water provider as I will NOT be giving my business to such an unethical company. It was good while it lasted.

Called Palomar Water Company today because i got a new delivery truck from Ready Fresh parked in front of my house and Zephyrhills 4 -5gallons water delivered at my doorstep, what happened to our wonderful, friendly delivery guy? What happened to our Palomar water that we love so much? I called and Palomar was sold to Nestlé! Its called Ready Fresh, not even an email or a phone call to let us customers know the major change. I have canceled my water delivery, I have been a faithful customer for a couple of years, its not cheap but I thought it was worth it. I am very surprised by how the company dealt with their their loyal clients. Shame!

I loved Palomar Waters, which tasted clean and fresh. Now we just received our delivery from arrowhead by nestle, whose water comes from treatment facilities and “springs” from dirty cities, not mountains where the water is purified naturally. Look into the sources of arrowhead and you’ll see. Besides the unethical practices that nestle has committed many times in the past, this water has a different taste, which at first is subtle. It’s only after I finished sipping that a minute later a distinct and noticeable after taste lingered in my mouth, hard to put a finger on, almost like fluoride or an acidic metal.Nestle Has Also Started Charging Double What Palomar Charged Without Notifying Their Customers. My bill went from $26 to $57Will definitely be canceling, very sad to say.

Called in and got the automated run around. Wth? Put on endless hold. Got a very strange greeting. So I asked, is this Palomar water? No, it’s blah blah blah. They asked, who are you? Wth? Sold their soul!! Used to be able to walk in and pick up a bottle of water. Nope. Used to get your schedule emailed to you without hesitation. Nope. I asked to add my email to the account. Nope, only have room for 1 email. Called to confirm I’m on schedule. Nope. We are behind schedule so you been pushed back. These idiots will be losing another customer. Clown alert.

I called and asked how we can do business and the lady who answered continually told me that I have the wrong number if Im looking for Mount Palomar spring water and it took me a while to get her to admit that they had bought Mount Palomar Springwater it was really hard just to initiate business. Very disappointed that they sold their deliveries to Nestle!! Not sure if the whole company is closed or if they just sold our address on the delivery list but I am NOT happy about it. I learned my next delivery would be Nestle instead of Palomar with less than 2 weeks notice and Palomar never responded to my inquiry about the type of water Nestle would bring. Sure enough purified tap water shows up and the new company charges $14/5gal jug for spring water. I loved Palomars water quality but their business practices show they care about profits far more than their customers.

Sadly Palomar Water is NO MORE. They WENT OUT OF BUSINESS second week of January 2021. They sold all their customers to Nestle/Arrowhead water. Nestle has a mixed track record. Google is youre curious. Sad to see two local bottled water companies in San Diego County go belly up in the past few years. First PureFlo in Santee (taken over by Sparkletts and now Palomar Water to Nestle. Palomar Water had a nice well along South Grade Rd., going up the mountain. I wonder what the fate of that will be. I doubt Nestle will maintain that neat roadside feature.

Weve had Palomar water delivery for at least 4 months and they have been great The water Is delicious, cold, (hot/cold dispenser) and refreshing. Ive had no problems with staff on either reminders or delivery dates, everything has been handled perfect. I saw past complaints in this area . . I think they have cinched it up and now perform above my expectations.

I was never informed by Palomar Water that they were selling to Nestle. Nestle is an unethical big corporation. I am not getting the alkaline water I signed up for and without my permission, Nestle has my credit card information, email and cell phone number and assumed they had my business! I am not only canceling my delivery but looking into whether or not those of us who were not informed about this switch have any case regarding our information being shared without our permission. So sad and frustrating!

The water quality and water dispenser are fine- no complaints there. Its why Im giving them a 2 instead of a 1. My complaint is about their customer service. Atrocious!There was an issue with an unpaid balance that I couldnt understand. I found their invoicing to be extremely confusing and based on what I downloaded from the website, it looked like I was paid in full. I asked for a complete report of charges and payments going back several months. I received several emails, all with different attachments that didnt agree with one another. Long story short, I went back & forth with accounting and asked to speak with a supervisor. Steve the supervisor (and owner) never got back to me even though I called several times. I finally got Steves phone number, left a message, no call back. He happened to pick up next time I called and was very friendly: assured me he would get it cleared up. Multiple days later I got an email that provided no additional explanation, just saying that I owed the unpaid balance. I have since emailed twice asking for help to understand because my records show $0 balance. No response.This is just the end in a series of negative customer service experiences that I have had with them. Their prices are good, but not worth the hassle! I will be cancelling my service next week when my new service starts.

I have over a dozen empty water bottles that were never picked up during the last delivery. I’ve asked them to come pick them up and no one ever came, they just keep piling up! A major eye sore and major inconvenience for me to have to keep calling so they can be on top of something THEY are supposed to be on top of.

Probably the worst service experience Ive has in a decade. Out of the 3 scheduled deliveries I tolerated, not one came the day it was supposed to. In fact, my initial delivery and cooler install was a day late. The cooler broke in less than a week. Neither the hot or cold dispensed. Okay, stuff breaks. I dont hold that against them. But, when the service guy showed up, he told me it froze and that it is the most common problem. Okay. They couldnt tell me when I called to just unplug it for an hour? But the real kicker is when my deliveries didnt show up, because their driver claimed he couldnt fit in the driveway. This is a condo driveway, completely straight and 49 feet wide. Hove me a break. I used to drive an 18 wheeler and had to back into spaces 10 feet wide. So, their solution? I could pay $15 more per delivery for them to use a van. If the water tasted great, I might have contemplated that. But it is ordinary water. Funny, the Sparklet driver has no problem with my driveway.Mark, you have a heck of an attitude. YOUR review is nothing but a whine about reviewers you call retards because you disagree with them. Someone who cant understand his bill shouldnt call people with legitimate complaints retards.

Just signed up for Palomar Mountain Spring Water and recived my first delivery today! The process was really simple and easy. Customer service was great. I made a request to have someone contact me on their next business day and they actually responded. Shannon arranged everything via email. Mike came out to get us set up and he was super friendly! He definitely made us feel at home in our new neighborhood. What I loved most about the water is there is 0 fluoride in it and is packed in minerals like calcium. Price are super reasonable also!

I tested three of the sealed new bottles delivered to me, somehow I opened it to smell the bottle and it smelled like dirty old water! Poor Customer Service: I transitioned our office water service from Sparkletts in Sep 18 when they sold out to a national chain and their service went to hell, thinking that it was going to get better. Well I was wrong, way wrong. Instead of twice per month delivery they only come once so we have have 12 bottles that we dont have room for clogging up our office. Plus they have to deliver extra because we never know when theyll be back. Ill get an auto call every day for at least a week stating that theyll be delivering tomorrow. After 5 days and no delivery Ill call the office and Im assured that itll be delivered tomorrow, which doesnt happen. About half the time we run out of water. Granted we are on the Naval Base but I was called in Nov 18 by a manager after voicing my frustration and only having one driver that had base access assuring me that it would be taken care of. I even went out of my way to sponsor them, contact base pass & ID to get them the appropriate paperwork and contact info and send it to them for them to fill out. That was in Nov, on 29JAN I get an email with the incomplete paperwork from them. I wrote back asking them to complete it and never heard back again. Its now March and we have been out of water for a week an a half. I called customer service and was told that a manager would call me to help out and no phone call. I cancelled the service and yesterday I get a call from a driver that they sent that does not have base access asking me to take time away from work to come and escort him on base. Unbelievable and obvious that they do not care about their military customers.

If stability and easy to understand business practices are what you seek in a water provider, look somewhere else.I have lost count how many times my delivery date has changed, I just have to hope their phone alerts work (it doesnt usually) and hope I notice the delivery email (they send multiple emails about bills, so dont be surprised if you miss it)Aside from this, random price changes, lack of communication and almost purposely difficult to understand pricing models really ruin what otherwise is an OK service.

Horrible customer service and horrible delivery service!! Ive been a customer for five years now and over the past two years, the customer service and delivery service has deteriorated to the point where I am now switching to a different water service. The water tastes very good, but the delivery schedule seems to change every single month, my delivery driver changes constantly, I NEVER know when they are coming, and getting a schedule from them has proven impossible. Ive called them multiple times to request a schedule. On top of that, the charges per bottle creep up every few months with no notification and no communication. Customer service is flat out rude on the phone. I was very happy with this company for the first couple of years but they truly no longer care about the satisfaction of their customers.

The water is good but the service is bad. they charge an extra fee to bring it up stairs so I have to carry the bottles myself. Also they dont bring the correct amount of water so I have to call them and get them to bring more all of the time. Also they forget to pick up the old bottles so I have 4 old bottles on my front patio.

I like the water, but the bill was more this month without explanation or breakdown. I had to take the time to call the company and try to figure out why I was charged that amount which is automatically charged to my credit card. They had a rate increase due to the new gas tax, which is fine I understand, however they owe it to their customers to explain the charges without the customer having to take the time to call to in order to understand their bill. In addition to that complaint I’ve had communication problems regarding delivery and pick up without going into details which are just boring I’m not impressed with the way this company does business even though I like the water I will change my service after my six commitment. I am also taken back by the surly attitude over the phone, who needs that, it was unwarranted and unacceptable.

Just to let everyone know because it is not in the contract you sign with them, your water bill will increase every year in March. At whatever amount they chose. They will not notify you. I have attached a photo of my recent email response asking why our rate keeps going up. We are not working. In the midst of a pandemic. And they do this?! This is bad business and I recommend giving your business to a company that is honest, available to respond back to your concerns and cares about its customers. This is not one of those businesses.

The water is good, but I am SO fed up with their delivery system. 3 times in the last 5 months they changed my schedule without telling me. So I would be expecting water to be delivered on the scheduled date, and it would never come. Then I would call the following day (because I only realize they arent coming after business hours) only to find out that they changed my schedule without telling me. I would then go without water until they found it convenient to come out or something. OR I would come home to find 2 bottles (I always order at least 5) outside of my door on a date that delivery was not schedule for.. like this time it was almost three weeks early - I literally just got a delivery! So now I have empty jugs piling up since I didnt know they were coming and therefore didnt put them outside to be picked up. Then I call them, and find out that AGAIN my schedule was changed to that day (again without my knowledge) and my next delivery wouldnt be for a month, so I would, again, be running out of water. I cant trust this company at all, so I intend to switch to a different company.They claim that they dont know about the changes until the customer contacts them, but that literally makes no sense. If changes come from operations, but operations doesnt contact the customer, then OPERATIONS NEEDS TO COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Its really not that hard.

Billing is very complicated. Just received my bill, last month was paid in full, however there is a carry-over balance of $24+. 3 months ago we cancelled service at my employment for the same reason after many attempts to clarify billing with customer service. Palomar never responded to our inquiries, so we did not feel valued, no worries we have four other companies that deliver that have better customer service and comparable pricing. Looks like I may also be cancelling my home service.

Called up in the morning and set up the SAME DAY in Oceanside. Water is as good as I remember. Costco used to carry in bottles; but alas no more. I prefer giving to a local San Diego company. I highly recommend just on customer service (superb) and the water (excellent). Billed monthly and you can change your order to add (or take away) as needed up to the day before your delivery. Added bonus: get your delivery in 3 or 5 gallon dispensers and also add in sparking water, water bottles, et al.Price point is right. Dont shop the big guys -- stay local in water -- and support a San Diego county business.

Wow, reading these complaints here is interesting. I thought maybe it was just me. I have had a lot of bizarre issues in the short time Ive had the service. I pay ahead online, but Ive had my empties taken, and not replaced because they had me listed as COD and so even though I had enough credits for a couple months worth of service, they still didnt give me any water. It was quickly handled, however. Normally I dont put much stock in bad reviews people leave. 99.99% of the time its the customers stupidity or attitude that primarily contributes to the problem. People love to whine, and the internet gives everyone a soap box, even the idiots whose opinions are worthless and misleading. Always consider the source, and make your own opinion based on your personal experience like you would a movie. Im going to see a movie that looks interesting. A retards opinion isnt going to prevent me from forming my own.

I would like to respond to M Abdelati. Your accusations are not only completely beside the truth, but also harmful and damaging to the company. We actually do provide natural spring water from Palomar Mountain, straight from the source, and only that. Your accusations supposedly are supported by the output of the spring and our sales revenue which neither of those you have access to. Our water is not mixed or tapped, but pure and natural. Even your claim that the industry is not regulated is false. We comply with all requirements of California Proposition 65, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the California Bottled Water Association, the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), and the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA). We even exceed these requirements by testing multiple random samples in our on-site laboratory every day to ensure that our spring water is free from contamination. I have been a customer for several years and I am not sure if management has changed or what is going on. But the service is terrible now. We got accidentally switched to once a month and all my stores were without water. When we asked if we could get water asap, we were told next week. Then, in one of my stores, the cooler leaked and flooded the lobby and stained the carpet. I asked if they could cover the cost to have it cleaned? Their response was, No, our water doesnt stain, but what they failed to realize was that any dirt or anything under the carpet WOULD when the water flooded the lobby, I was just looking for a simple carpet cleaning but now I am cancelling all my locations and wont do business them again.

My dietician referred me to this company because of the source of the water, spring water and its local. I have been ill going on 4 weeks now and Drs still havent found the smoking gun. She no longer wanted me to drink out of little 16oz bottles, especially the collapsable ones,because there have been several studies tbat state that BPA free bottles still seap chemicals into the water especially when they sit around in a warehouse and/or even out in the sun. She believes tbat part of it can be that Im being intoxicated by a build up of these nefarious chemicals and my 29 medications. Ive read several similar studies and they all agree that the build up of these other chemicals begin to cause health issues. Issues like renal failure, strokes, cardiovascular disease as it prohibits blood from carrying sufficient amounts of red cells, which increases the white cells which causes other chronic illnesses like cancer. All of which I suffer from except cancer. These same studies agree that water stored in hard plastic containers dont have these chemicals seaping into the water because the process in making them is different. Also since Palomar Sprins is local, water doesnt sit around very long before consumption.So back to the actual review. I got in touch with Mike Sophers who was pretty awesome and less than 24hrs later had my dispenser and water delivered. Its economical compared to what I was paying buying the 24-16oz packs. Im getting the alkaline, fluoride free water which has a crisp, clean taste. The dispenser is working great. I love cold water. So far, so satisfied and have not one critique.

You send me a 5 gallon that was already opened, you dont deliver my water, or you deliver it to the wrong address. When I call to complain at the main number, some lady tells me to, Go and get it, its not far. So, I call my salesmens number and he tells me Whatever, Whatever! -- Just put all our stuff outside and well pick it up.Ive never, in my life, dealt with people that were so incredibly unprofessional, Im floored, Im speechless, Im left with nothing more to say than; dont deal with this company, ever.Heres your junk, outside, exactly where you told me to put it.

I like the water but the billing department is so bad that I cancelled my subscription. I have been battling this for over a year now. I was promised one thing when I ordered and have not only not received it but I have been receiving bills for something I think is incorrect. Ive left a message and written notes on each of my bills asking for help in clarification. I have yet to get a response. When I have called in the past about this it was very hard to get someone who would get back to me. Good water but the customer service is horrible and I will not go back :(

The water does not all come from this spring or artisan well .. they lie. The majority of it comes from city tap water that they purify with active carbon filters and ultraviolet light. Less than 10 % comes from the mountain. It would dry out and we had a 7 year drought in SoCal. As a water resources engineer; thier daily ; monthly and yearly sales clearly excceed the wells output by a 10 fold !!! But there is no regulation in the industry, and all they are claiming is that it comes from a Company called Palomar Mountan Spring .. and not that it actually comes from THE Spring on Palomar Mountain !!!! What a cheat, Shame on them.

I have had services for a few years and was really pleased with the water and delivery. One day my water cool was leaking so I called to the office to have someone fix it or replace it. I was told by someone in the office to place the cooler outside and it will be exchanged that same day. When I got home there was no water cooler or note. I called to the office and asked what had happen and was transferred to the AP lady who rudely told me that I was past due on my bill and I wanted another cooler I have to pay the balance. I told her not a problem I had a problem with my card waiting on a new one. Also I would take care of the balance then. It took a bit longer to get my card than expected but I received call after call for my payment. I work during the hours of operation and have children to pick up after school, so my time is limited. Getting to the office and back to work on time is impossible.I wasnt happy with the way I was treated and cancelled my service with Palomar spring water company so I started getting water from Culligan Water. (Oh and Culligan is cheaper a 5 gallon and has a much better delivery service) Monday April 25th someone stopped by my house to drop off a pay request form and took 5 of my culligan empty bottles. I called today and when I told the receptionist who I was and what had happen she began to be really rude to me. I told her that I was going to call the cops for theft. She told me she was going to look into it and would call me back. I called 5 hours later and she had told me that they have found 2 of the 5 bottles. I asked to speak to a supervisor but sure enough everyone was out of the office.I am really upset with this and am trying to be the better man but my patience is running thin due to the treatment I have been receiving from PSW. I cant believe they would allow their employees to out of spite, steal property that doesnt belong to them or your company. I found the bill that was hidden behind a bush and I will pay the small insignificance balance, once I receive my bottles back.I wanted to let you know how the consumers are treated without any sugar coating.
