From the start, Stacey made us both feel welcomed and comfortable. We were the only appointment at the time, so we had the entire boutique to ourselves. Stacey was attentive, hospitable, and intuitive to my dress needs/wants.My priority was comfort above all else. When I narrowed my selection down, I had picked a dress more off of the look. I had second thoughts the second I drove away, and Stacey generously offered to return and see if I wanted to exchange it for the other dress I loved - I did, and I have not had a single second thought since.The dress is stunning, comfortable, and perfectly me! I am beyond thrilled at my wedding dress experience and am so thankful for her empathy. She is genuinely in the business to make brides feel beautiful and happy, whereas so many are just in it for the money. Stacey is awesome! She has a really good idea of what her brides are looking for in wedding dresses, and the style of her gowns reflects this. After showing her only a few saved photos of other dresses I had on my phone, she was able to pull out five or six dresses that went with the style I was looking for. The one I ended up buying was in that first set she pulled off the rack.One thing I really appreciate that Stacey did was giving me real feedback about how the fits and styles worked for my body type. If one dress didn’t look as good, she would straight up tell me it wasn’t as flattering. She wasn’t just trying to sell me a dress at any cost. She also was good about showing me dresses that were within my price range.Her store is clean and well kept.

Stacey created such a phenomenal experience for me. As a full figured woman I was especially happy with her approach to fit and silhouette. She was exceptionally accommodating, kind and knowledgeable.And as for the quality of the gowns- stunning. The selection was vast enough for me to try on 7 different styles. So while there wasnt everything under the sun, there was a substantial amount. Then there is price. I was pleasantly shocked at how incredible the pricing was. Dont be afraid to talk to her about your budget.Add it all up and I could not have been happier with this experience.

Stacey ONeill and the Something Old Something New Boutique went above and beyond to make my experience finding a wedding dress easy and stress free. This Boutique brings a very hometown feel to finding a dress. You are not overwhelmed by thousands of dresses to choose from because Stacey really took the time to get to know what I wanted and what I didnt want. She also understood that trying on things outside of my box, helped solidify my vision for the dress I truly wanted.Originally I was trying to find a dress for a wedding taking place in 3 months, but because of COVID, we had to push back our wedding date and I found the dress I originally picked was no longer what I wanted. Stacey was extremely patient and accommodating because I committed to two dresses and then changed my mind again! Stacey continued to encourage me throughout the process and on my third visit, we found the ONE!I was determined to support local and my decision paid off, especially considering the hurdles I threw at Stacey. She was so amazing and nice I found my dress in like one hour. SHe just knows her shop and she has amazing deals and it’s just a wonderful lady I recommend everyone go here just to try on dresses you might fall in love and I just love the vibe in the decorations and she’s an amazing lady go here now

This was the first and only wedding dress stop I made when started looking for wedding dresses, and I found so many beautiful styles that I loved. I ended up buying my dress right then and there, and I am so excited to wear it on my big day! Emma was wonderful, super helpful and very energetic the entire time. I highly recommend Something Old, Something New to anyone and everyone; it was such an amazing experience for a soon-to-be bride. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat!

Great service and great selection of dresses for a great price! My cousin got her dress here, she referred me and I got mine here as well! A close friend of mine knew about the great experience I had here, she visited the shop and found her dress here as well! Can’t say enough good things about this place ♥️

After many unsuccessful attempts to reach a resolution with the owner Stacey, this is my experience with Something Old, Something New Bridal. I purchased a gown for my daughter’s November wedding in July 2020. Stacey showed us a dress which had an unfinished bodice. Stacey said she would cover the costs of the alterations to finish the bodice. My daughter loved it! I paid the shop’s tailor for alterations such as hemming and adding a bustle. Stacey paid her for the work on the bodice. It was a joyful time with my daughter but all that soon went downhill and became the worst scenario we could have imagined!Long story: We were shocked when Stacey’s tailor botched the original alteration so badly that the dress --originally rather large on my daughter, whose size remained the same during this process, became so small it could not even be zipped! Multiple unsuccessful attempts were made to fix this dress. Not only did the look change but it would not stay in place. Stacey attended one of the fittings. She told us her tailor was having issues and had been “off”. She said she stands behind her tailor’s work but if we had lost confidence, we could discuss options. She offered an exchange. Daughter was hopeful of finding another dress but the many she tried on needed alterations and 2 ½ weeks to the wedding, we had neither the time nor the money. I called Stacey for a refund so we could buy a dress elsewhere but she refused saying she does not give refunds! Her only other offer was consignment without taking her cut. (With these poor alterations, consignment is doubtful!) With no further remedies offered by the tailor or refund from Stacey, we were resigned that my daughter would have to make the best of it and wear this ill-fitting dress.This was so wrong! The “finished” dress was compromised in both fit and form! And, it was unacceptable to have my daughter walk down the aisle in a dress that needed constant tugging in order to keep it up! We left the dress at the shop and placed a rush order for a cheap online dress, praying it would fit! So disappointing but the right decision considering the circumstances.After the wedding, I contacted Stacey several times hoping for resolution. She responded with, “We don’t offer refunds, if you think the tailor is at fault you should ask her for a refund. She is an independent contractor, not an employee.” Very surprising as she had never before mentioned it was not her responsibility. I reached out to the tailor but got no response. So much for standing behind your tailor’s work!I hold Stacey responsible for this situation since she employed her tailor as an independent contractor to complete the bodice alterations as was her agreement with us when we bought the dress. (We assumed that meant successful alterations, not the failed ones we received!) Mistakes happen but poor results should not fall on your customer! Stacey is the store owner and should ultimately take responsibility for the quality of work her shop produces-- especially when she knew her tailor was “off” (I guess it’s situations like this that Small Claims Court exists)Note: After realizing I was getting nowhere with Stacey, I went to her shop on Jan. 30th to pick up the dress. Imagine my shock when I found the tailor still there! In my opinion, Stacey is putting another bride at risk for a similar horrible experience!

I never excepted Stacey the owner to be a deceitful person. I purchased my wedding gown from her for $1040. She referred me to a seamstress who charged me $1240 to put sleeves on the dress, take it in, remove liner, add a belt and make a custom veil. After the wedding I took the dress back to Stacey to sell it on consignment. I renewed the contract one time then when it came to sign a contract the third time she said to let her keep it through Christmas to see if she could sell it. In her contract it says that if a new contract is not signed or the dress is not picked up she can keep it for storage fees. Knowing this and trying to follow her contract I purposely put a note on my calendar to follow through. I contacted her twice by email and received no response. So I made an appointment to pick up the dress. Before the appointment I received an email asking if I wanted to resign the contract or pickup the dress. I asked to pickup the dress. When I got to her store she handed me a dress in a bag and stated she couldn’t find my veil so she wrote me a check. When I got to the car I noticed the check was for only $109. I didn’t check the dress until I got home later that afternoon. When I opened the bag I found that she didn’t give me my dress back but one that was same style, not dry cleaned, and was a dingy white color.. it was not my dress in which I had paid all the alterations for. I immediately texted her, sent her an email, called the store and left a message. No response, so I made another appointment to pick up my dress. I arrived at the 9am appointment time.she was not there and the store was closed. I texted her and asked to resolve this matter and have yet to hear back from her. All I can say is buyer beware, you will not be dealing with an honest person if you shop here.....Very disappointed....

I never expected to be one of the people writing a horrible review, yet here we are. After almost 5 months of being ghosted by Stacey, I have to warn yall. Unfortunately much like other brides, I was deceived. I had purchased a dress from Stacey ( the Owner) in August 2020, with Staceys promise that this dress could be altered the way I was envisioning. The dress was a tank top style with an open lace back. I wanted to turn it into an off the shoulder dress. Even after much hesitation and the million questions my family and I threw at her, Stacey stood her ground in saying the dress was able to be made into an off the shoulder dress. Stacey said she would store my dress IN HER SHOP until we were able to schedule and see her in store tailor. With the reassurance that her in store tailor could do the work, I asked Stacey to forward my info to her a few weeks later. We were told we needed to pay a $50 fee to see what needed to be done to the dress. I just wanted to know if the alterations were still possible now that a professional was involved, so Afsan and I spoke on the phone, and Afsan agreed to look at photos to give me an idea of if what I was asking for was possible. Afsans first words were I wish Stacey would stop telling people these things. She promises things I can not do and makes the customer upset with me. After Afsan had told me that my dress was unable to be what I had wanted it to be, I called Stacey to ask what was next. Stacey told me to come try on the dress, and if I was just not in love with it that I could exchange for another dress in store. So, I set up an appointment to try on the dress to see if I would be okay with the minor transformations we COULD make. I sat in the dress in store being coached by Stacey that this dress was still going to be so beautiful the way it is. Knowing that it was not at all what I was promised. I asked Stacey if I could think about it and make sure I would still feel beautiful in the dress the way it was set to be. She said of course. After a weekend of thinking about it, I had reached out to Stacey asking what we could do about the dress, because I just wasnt sure that I would still love the dress. After all, it would be NOTHING like I was promised. Crickets on Staceys end. She had said she was out of town and needed to wait until she was back to speak to Afsan. Knowing I had tried on all of the current store stock in my size when picking out my original dress, I was discouraged. I asked Stacey what we would do since none of her stock was my taste, and the dress she had sold me was no longer going to be what she had promised me. Once again, Crickets. Little did I know the last time I would speak to Stacey would be on November 10th 2020. After several calls, Instagram comments that were deleted, texts and voicemails, We decided to file a dispute with our bank. The bank refunded us the money and we went about our way, until a month later when, instead of calling, Stacey had said our claims were untrue. So our bank had pulled the money back out of our account. So still, as of March 5th, 2021 WE DO NOT HAVE THE DRESS IN OUR POSSESSION. Now, we are a thousand dollars out, and no dress in possession. Stacey still to this day ignores phone calls, voicemails, and texts. But she cant delete this review. (: Stacey, I never wanted to write this review, in fact that is exactly why I waited so long. I had hoped that you would own up to your mistakes, but you have not. Im incredibly disappointed that I allowed you to play a huge role in my wedding planning process, and that you walked all over me. I am 30 days away from getting married, without the dress I purchased from you, and $1000 out of pocket. Disappointment and hurt dont even begin to cover the feelings I feel. As a business owner, I know youre hurting during COVID, but that is no excuse for poor customer service and for deceiving so many of us. You should truly be ashamed.

Who wants old dresses someone worn and there prices new over priced

I LOVE this Boutique. And the owner was perfection. She pulled all top favs, and was more than patient when I couldn’t decide on “the one” . Considering I had two of my boys 8 and 6 with me... Yikes, I know ! She was more than understanding and accommodating. But truly focused on me and helped me perfectly. I would highly recommend this store to all brides. THANK YOU for the best experience.

Stacey the owner was great from being kind and welcoming to her boutique. She had so many beautiful dresses to pick from. I said yes to the third dress I tried on! The owner really listened to what I was looking for from the size, price, and style of the dress. And I cant wait for the wedding day to wear my dress.

Very very pleased with the service we received. Stacy was very helpful and when there was miscommunication on the price, she honored what we were accidentally quoted. We went to several other stores and nothing compared to the customer service we received here . Prices and selection were great as well. My experience was amazing!!! I couldn’t be more pleased with my appointment. First the store is beautiful! The couches made the visit comfortable for my mom, sisters, and nieces. Every dress I tried on was gorgeous and the prices were unbelievable! Stacey listened to me and pulled dresses that I absolutely LOVED! She was wonderful! She was extremely helpful and never pushy or rushed (as I had experienced other places). I recommend this shop to EVERY bride! You will not be disappointed!!

I had a fantastic experience here. I got married for the first time at age 55 and found the perfect dress. Stacey, the owner was very kind and showed me many dresses over many months. I happen to live in Boston but travel for work. She even sent pictures from sleek to tea length. We ended up cutting a dress to ballet length and it turned out to be gorgeous. I would highly recommend this place. She has a great eye, great elegant selection and is very patient and sweet!!!

Stacey was such a blessing. So easy to work with and extremely helpful in finding a dress that suited my preferences. Never felt rushed or pushed to buy something. You can tell she loves her job and takes pride in her business. She has years of experience in the bridal field. Im on a short timeline, and thousands of miles from close friends/family, so Stacey essentially took their place in this significant experience. Such a delight, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dress. Prices are more affordable than expected! Selection was unexpectedly large and diverse. She only picks dreseses she likes based on current trends or timeless looks. Not your average consignment shop. Even if youre not considering a used dress, stop by her boutique to get a feel for what styles youre interested in. She has great advice on tailoring and proper fit, and theres no pressure for sale like a bridal chain store.

I am in love with the gown I found at this boutique! Stacey, the owner, was very pleasant while she assisted me during the process. She tactfully balanced allowing me to think over selections while offering suggestions and information where it would help me make a decision. I wanted a dream dress for an affordable price, and that is exactly what I found. I would recommend seeing what Stacey has to offer - especially since she works with local seamstresses for tailoring and adjustments. I can hardly wait to wear my gown, and I will never forget the moment of picking out the perfect wedding dress. I have been back to the boutique a few times since purchasing the gown, and Stacey has been easy to work with, cheerful, and I get the impression that she sincerely wants to help however she can. Found my dream dress with the help of Stacy!I tried a few other places before I went to Stacy and didn’t feel the same care and attention with any of them as I did with Stacy. She not only made me feel great with her beautiful personality, she was patient, answer all of my questions was aware of what I was looking for, did not pushed me to get just any dress, she wanted me to get the right dress. Stacy is not about just selling another dress she wants each bride to have the right dress! I will definitely recommend this place if you are looking for your dream wedding dress.

This shop is awesome! The owner is very friendly and helpful, she is full of great ideas and advice. I came in wanting an affordable dress and was very pleased at the selection. She has dresses for all budgets in a wide variety of styles. I tried on a lot of dresses, spent a night debating between two favorites, and then bought my bridal dress here the next day. I just bought a dress here today! After a less than satisfying first dress shopping experience at BHLDN (totally rushed and stressful appointment with a not very helpful sales woman, although also partially my fault for thinking, very wrongly, that I knew exactly what I wanted), I went into this appointment with low expectations, but a much more open mind. Stacey was so welcoming from the moment we walked in. She encouraged me to pick as many dresses as caught my eye in as many styles as possible...and there were PLENTY of options! After trying on several promising but not-quite-right gowns, I found one that I thought was pretty close to “the one”, then Stacey worked her magic, did one more sweep of the store and found something even better! I never would have picked this gown for myself, but it’s amazing. The whole visit was relaxed, fun and just lovely! Stacey was so helpful and patient; I really wish I had just come here first!! The prices on every dress I looked at were also VERY reasonable. I will be sending any bride I know to this shop! Thank you Stacey for finding me a dress that I’m so excited to wear!!

Found the perfect dress with Staceys help! There was a great selection of dresses, good range of prices, and everything was very, very good quality. We visited another used dress store that had very cheap stuff, some of it was even stained. Stacey maintains a very clean, beautiful shop. She only schedules one appointment at a time so you have plenty of time and space. She also referred me to an excellent tailor in San Marcos (Pleats) that was able to make all the modifications I needed at a very affordable price. Definitely will recommend this shop to other brides! My dress got so many complements at the wedding, and for 1/3 of the retail price!

If you are lucky enough to happen upon this little boutique early on in your wedding dress search--dont bother making any other appointments. Everything else after Something Old Something New falls short. There is an amazing assortment of dresses at a great price. The owner is not only sweet, kind, and attentive but she has an eye for helping you find the right dress. Dont expect to get talked into something you arent crazy about. She has a gentle way of giving you space and reassuring you that youll know the one when you find it. This might not be the wedding dress store from the romantic comedies you grew up with--its the one they should have included! This store lets you feel like yourself so you can find the dress that suites you, and makes you feel beautiful just the way you are. I cannot say enough wondering things about my experience at this store! Its perfect!

Great selection of dresses! The owner has an eye for bringing in stylish designs for fair prices. Shes also very knowledgeable and has a good eye which Im so thankful for because this isnt my area of expertise. Definitely worth the drive for me!

This boutique has many different styles to choose from and priced right. Stacey (the owner) was amazing! She was very attentive and fun to shop with. I tried on about 8 dresses and she helped me with them all. I highly recommend her store, youll love her selection and personal touch.

Nothing Short of AMAZING! Stacy took the time to find out exactly what my daughter wanted, listening intently and only giving opinions when asked. She allowed my daughter to find her style before telling her what would look best on her. She tried on many different styles and kept narrowing it down. Stacy pulled out two final dresses (stacys picks) for my daughter and asked her to try them on and they were exactly the dress that she was looking for! With two amazing options we left to think about it (one of the two dresses was stark white though)she was wanting a warm white). We got a call 2 days later that she had gotten a warm white in the second dress that my daughter loved. We came back in with my daughters entourage and picked the one she already had on hand. Stacy was so happy she was able to provide the options for my daughter and was not upset at all that she brought the warm white dress in for her. My daughter is so excited to wear it on her wedding day! Stacy knows her stuff, is patient, kind, generous, and hardworking. I will send every bride I know here! And pictures after the wedding. I feel I made a friend!

This shop is AMAZING. The owner is so sweet and patient, she genuinely wants to make your big day special! I went with my 3 month old daughter, mother, and grandmother. The owner must have helped me try on 30 dresses until I found the perfect one. She was so funny and really made my experience memorable. My dress was only 800 dollars and used to be a 2,500 dollar gown, so if your looking for a deal this is the shop to go to. Upon purchasing the dress the owner gave me a six pence coin to wear in my shoe on my wedding day (something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a six pence in your shoe) which I wore and thought was adorable. She also ordered a vail that matched my gown perfectly and went out of her way on her day off and steamed them both the day before my wedding. You have to check this place out!

Stacy, the owner, was so helpful. Her shop is full of dresses and accessories. Every bride gets her full attention with the sweetest smile from Stacy. I didnt purchase my dress here, I had a disaster with my veil and she took time to assist me in my options - attempting to find a replacement, referred me to a tailor for repair as well as other options. She also blessed me with a silver sixpence to put in my shoe! Thank you Stacy!

Yeah I finally found my wedding dress and Its so beautiful!!! My sister found this store and told me I had to come check it out and Im so glad I did!! I couldnt believe how many beautiful dresses this little store has and at reasonable prices. Stacey the owner was an awesome help she was very nice while helping me pick out and try on dresses she stayed professional but also laughed along with my bridesmaids and I as we tend to joke around. I went to 5 stores looking for my dress and this store was by far my favorite store. I will continue to recommend this store to everyone!! Thank you Stacey! I love my dress!!!

Unless you have an appointment, you are NOT welcome in the store and you wont even be asked if you want an appointment. So sad, my mom, daughter, and daughter-in-law walked in with intentions of looking around and making an appointment but the blonde sales person told us it was chaotic in there nd we had to leave. Luckily for us, we left and spent our $5,000 somewhere else. This place didnt deserve it.

This little store is wonderful and the owner, Stacey, is a wonder. She is accommodating, knowledgeable, flexible, and will go to great lengths to find the perfect dress. And accessories. My daughter found a beautiful dress there, and Stacey and I will be working on finding one for me, the mom. Superlative service!

Beware of deceptive pricing promotion. I bought a sample (i.e., not new) gown that clearly stated Retails for 1950 with a sale price of $899 only to find out after the fact that the same exact gown actually retails NEW for $800-950 both online and in other local bridal stores and that sample gowns were selling for $300-500. The owner would never admit to any wrong doing, despite the fact that this is a clear case of deceptive pricing promotion which is considered unethical by the Federal Trade Commission and is prohibited by California statutory and regulatory law. Please future brides, BEWARE and research the dresses here before you buy them to ensure you are getting a fair price (let alone an actual bargain).

The owner of this boutique is an absolute joy. She has a great selection of beautiful gowns at a fantastic price, and really lets you take the reins. We absolutely loved our experience!

Great customer service and polite

Waste of time. Drove 35 minutes to get there an I even asked if I needed an appointment, she said no I dont. We got there, waited an hour AND CALLED but nobody showed up. I will be telling people to stay for away from this place. The dresses looked nice inside. Too bad we didnt get to go in. I wasted my whole afternoon an its the only day my husband had off to look around with me. I am beyond dissapointed.
