I got my oil changed about 3 weeks ago. They didnt put my new oil filter in right and in just a couple weeks, I had lost 1 quart of oil. I just replaced my engine in April and this could have cost me more serious damage. Then they told me I needed to replace my front brakes and quoted me $440. I declined the brake change and had my regular mechanic check my brakes... they were still fine and evenly worn. This location acted as if it were urgent that I had them changed. They also got me for a new serpentine belt. Said it was cracked. My same mechanic let me know that it was perfectly fine when he installed my new engine. So I wasted money on something I didnt need, they tried to get me to pay for brakes that I didnt need, and did not properly place my oil filter. Very dissatisfied with the service here.

Don’t do it. This is what they do every day, and somehow they forgot to install the air filter that I paid for after assuring that I get one and IT WAS NOT INSTALLED. I drive 20 minutes away to come back no one seems to care that it was missed there was no I’m sorry no remorse. And now I have to double check everything that happened during my experience. I go to leave, still unsure of the level of quality and I looked under my hood and they forgot to put the oil cap on. DONT DO IT

Thankful for the heartfelt teamwork & genuine hospitality of the employees, and management nonetheless, that work at this location; because my 2000 Jeep always needs a little work but they always get the job done 🙏🏻 I legit always recommend my friends here, because they’re more like family. This is the best Jiffy Lube Ive ever been to. Today was my first time coming to this location and they exceeded my expectations. Im telling you if you want your car serviced right give them a try.

The good - the employees are friendly and the oil change was completed quickly. The bad - after checking air filters, did not reassemble the glovebox correctly (left cabin filter door hanging and did not reattach glovebox damping unit so glovebox fell open hard). They adjusted the air pressure in tires and afterwards my TPMS system alerted that there was an issue. Checked pressure in tires and 2 were over 40psi and 2 were 39psi. MFG recommendation is 32, which is why the TPMS alerted.

Everyone was very professional and nice. They kept me updated, telling me what it would cost. I really appreciated all that they did.

Customer service is horrible! I bought a Groupon months ago and I didnt need an oil change until now so I went to use it. They wouldnt honor the none expired Groupon because they had new management. Jiffy lube should be jiffy lube and any good Customer service would be to still honor the Groupon to keep a customer. I even showed my Groupon before I went in and they didnt tell me that I couldnt use it so wasted my time and had to wait a while before they called me up and tell me I couldnt use that Groupon so I waited all that time for nothing. I went else where.

The gentleman was very polite and honest my oil light came on so i assumed i needed and oil change. I appologized for arriving so late but the gentleman checked the system and had seen that i still had 2500 miles left on my oil life. he said sometimes the computer system in vehicles have small malfunctions. he topped my oil off i thanked him and that was a great feeling for someone to be honest.

I had my oil changed, I used Groupon I was willing to pay more to Pennzoil,but the guy kept asking when did I get Groupon,so I was thrown off and forgot to ask.When I paid it was $2.04 I realized it wasnt Pennzoil.Its important to me because my car is 11 years old.Plus the man in charge kept saying how about a radiator change I said he said you may overheat,No I said wind shield wipers.Isaid no.All new people.The man said we dont have Pennzoil.I have always got pennzoil,looked it up a picture of a man pouring pennzoil in.Ocean City has it.Whose lying? I had a lot on my mind because I had a busy day ahead of me. From the moment I got there, the associates were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. They gave me good informeation about my cars needs and I didnt feel pressured to make any additional purchases. I had a oil change done a couple of weeks ago and the services were great! The price wasnt too bad but it wasnt the cheapest. I guess it depends on on what you want, better service or a car that isnt taken care of well. By the way, the manager was well mannered and valued my company very much. I went in today (3/27/20) to have my oil changed and tires rotated. Everyone was professional and friendly. They were done in about 30 mins or less. I used a Groupon and only ended up paying $2 and change for the taxes. Based on my experience today, I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

Went in for a oil change and possible coolant flush, which I know for a fact needed to be done. The service advisor (Ronald/Roland) to me that I needed to get my fuel injection and power steering service and that my coolant was fine. I said how do know the coolant was good, he said they checked the temperature reading and was at a positive reading or something like that he said. Once he said that, i lost all trust and just please change my oil and filter and thats it. He lied and tried to get me to spend more money on something I know I didnt need. Im never going back and advise anyone to not believe the staff there. Worst experience and I live 10 minutes away from the Essex location, Ill just take that drive back to Towson . Towson is a awesome location

My oil change was conducted efficiently in less than 20 minutes. Additionally, my car was vacuumed, windows cleaned interiorly and exteriorly. Furthermore, wasnt harassed with unnecessary car treatments.

Know your stuff if you try to come in for a oil change. If you dont know what oil youll need for your car the people here will try to convince you to buy the most expensive one. So know what you need before coming here.
