I just dropped by by appointment to have my car diagnosed. The place was clean and the setting was pleasant and professional. Everything went quickly and the customer service was excellent. I have yet to hear back about the diagnosis, but expect good things from their service.

Wonderful mechanics and support staff. They went above and beyond to diagnose the problem with my car and the cost was reasonable. Love this place!

First of all do not leave your car here overnight under any circumstances, they will steal it. Manager claimed the keys were stuck in the car the night before, they got there in the morning and their gate was open and the car was gone, now who else thinks that sounds fishy? very shady overpriced dealings going on at this place, would not trust them to change my oil.

Good service, good repairs, on the high side for prices, when you see the quality of the work and customer service.I dropped them down because they missed a really big problem with the vehicle that they should have saw and reported, that if I were to do the work after the fact that they missed it will now cost an arm and a leg to have fixed.

This was my second time dealing with Old Town Auto. Both times I have been very satisfied!

They tried to massively overcharge me on an issue that was just fully replaced a few days earlier, even after i told them that it had all new parts. So i then went to pick up my car and they straight laughed at me as if i was dumb and didnt know what i was talking about or doing. I DO NOT recommend this auto service shop. I feel extremely disrespected.

I tend to have bad experiences at mechanics, but they really blew it out of the park in a good way. Great service, kind people, and communicative.

My car was having transmission issues, they took it in while they were already busy and had it fixed by the next day. They didnt even charge me as much as they could have for the container of transmission fluid they needed to top it off, and the entire repair was extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

We were traveling through and on a time crunch and needed brake pads done. This mechanic was quick to get us in, but could not give us a clear answer as to whether they had the needed parts in inventory, a time frame on work, or estimates on labor. There was an upfront inspection fee, but we didn’t have the time to wait several days for parts, if that ended up being the case. It was pretty clear they didn’t have the parts and were hoping to make a quick buck off inspection fees. We ended up calling another mechanic who gave us clear, honest answers about their parts inventory, their time frame and labor costs. We would not recommend this place. Their lack of transparency was problematic. It’s clear they are not a company driven by integrity.UDPATE: We were never informed of the warranty or of this policy. Instead, we called Les Schwab and they were able to verify inventory and pricing over the phone, plus the brake inspection was free (not an applied credit.) We do our best to support small businesses, but unfortunately this business provided a number of excuses, were not honest, and so I stand by my one star review.

Great service took truck in for new clutch and it was done 5 hours later

10 Stars!! I was in a panic. New to town, my garage is full of boxes, so Im parking on the street and suddenly my front passenger side window is stuck in the DOWN position! I know no one and just went to the internet. I cant even express how happy I was to reach Old Town Auto.First, I could just bring in my car and even if they couldnt figure it out that day or fix it, theyd keep it inside that night.Second, they called before I expected to tell me the repair needed.Third, after receiving the part it was done the next done BEFORE expected.Fourth, they actually saved me almost $40 off their quote due to a savings they found.And finally, fifth, they happily shuttled me both to and from my home near Henderson Center.It just doesnt get any better than Old Town Auto. They have a forever customer in me.

I’ve so far been to Okd a Town Auto twice. The first time was when my alternator went out. The second time was when my window was stuck down. Both times I needed new parts. The first time I was on a time crunch and they had it done in a day. The second time, Devin was super honest and helpful when discussing what’s wrong with my car. Love this place. I’m a 21 year old college student who doesn’t know much, so it’s really nice to have a place to take my car that I trust. Thank you guys!

These guys were a huge help when my car broke down on the 101. I had it towed to their location at night and they promptly got a hold of me the next day before doing anything. They then did an inspection on what failed at a reasonable price and gave me an estimate. I wasn’t able to fix my car due to the price of the fix and condition of my car. It was in there lot longer than anticipated and they treated me with nothing but kindness.

I had a wonderful experience at Old Town Brake & Auto Service, and would recommend it to anyone. Walker was super helpful in talking through all of the aspects of my car maintenance with me -- letting me know both what was going great with it and also suggestions on what work I might want to have done. There was never pressure to spend extra money on things I didnt need. I felt comfortable with the staff and trusted their work. The team was thorough in their inspection, and provided all of the paperwork and a checklist for me to easily see what was done and looked at. When I did decide to have some extra work done on my vehicle, they also took the time to talk through the cost breakdown with me so I knew exactly what went into the final price. Scheduling an appointment was also a breeze. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable -- I will definitely return to this business.

If anything happens to my Subaru, this is where I go. I have never had any issues after having my car serviced here. Probably the only place in Humboldt I would trust with both of my cars. Such an awesome team. Walker is great! He is always very helpful and has a great sense of humor. I enjoy joking around instead of stressing out about my car, so it is nice when the person on the other end of the counter isn’t looking at me like I am completely insane haha.

Was in a pinch for brake work. They slipped me in quickly, took the time to explain the problems, made suggestions of troubles to fix with cost estimates, did the work, and got me out the door in a few hours. I was impressed with their professional style. Recommended.

Our 08 Focus had a gnarly clunk when turning left under brake. I searched and searched l, but found nada. I took it to Old Town after hearing nothing but good about them, and Bryon put it on a lift. He spotted the sway bar had shifted leftward about 2. Now this thing is up, back, behind, and near invisible. The fact it shifted was incredibly hard to recognise- but he spotted it in 30 seconds. Its not the first thing youd think to look for, but he found it right away- saving time and money. They ordered a couple bushings and tore it down, replaced them, and put it back incredibly quickly. Whole thing was less than a couple hundred bucks. Anywhere else, this would have been a few days out and a ton of money. This place is absolutely amazing! And if you need a lift, theyve got you. Walker, at the front desk is the nicest, most professional guy in the biz. I dont like to admit defeat and go to a mechanic, but I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.

They did a fantastic job and fixed my truck right the first time!

Dont take your vehical here my girlfriend took her truck in to have the brakes fixed and they wrecked her truck and 5 months have gone by and there insurance still hasnt covered the cost to fix the truck because they were trying to force her to take non original parts out if a junkyard to replace the original parts. Absolutely ridiculous! The bureau of automotive repair even found her guilty and refusing to pay look it up they charged 1000 dollars for a front brake job and to wreck a nice truck and untold hours if headache and frustration trying to get the truck repaired to its original condition prior to leaving it in there hands. NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS !
