The staff there are very knowledgeable and kind. My son went in to purchase lace for curtains. He thought the price was for the bolt. They were very kind and gentle explaining the price was per yard. They helped him guess how much he would need. He wouldnt listen to me but came out all excited about how to make his own curtains.

Half the time, they dont have the weird, specific item Im looking for, but they have a decent selection of fabric and basic sewing and craft supplies.

Surprisingly... very first time i have ever been in there, it is absolutely the craft persons dream, nearly anything one could be looking for. Wall 2 wall to roof of artsy goodness :-) and the staff that runs the place are Walking Rays of Sunshine, Friendly Smiles and Helpful, Super Knowledgeable, their help has been instrumental in my current solar panel mounting project. i am very happy with my visits to Joann Fabric and Craft store in Eureka Ca

If u like crafts, be careful in this store! Just like candy to a baby.... You will find very quickly that youve been in there for an hour or longer. Amazing stuff, at great prices. Im a kid in a candy store.... I luv Joann fabrics

Having fun at the best fabric store in Eureka! They always have an assortment of seasonal items with great discounts. I found some beautiful ornaments for my granddaughters annual gift. She gets usually 2+ ornaments. I found 3! She is 11 and wants to learn how to sew so Joannes is the first stop well make!

They have a good selection of fabric. The aisles seemed a little tight in some spots. Overall, they were very well stocked. The staff was friendly. The signage was easy to read and clear. The store is smaller than most Joann stores Ive been to, but for the area it is nice to have this as an option.

Might be a good place for doing basic projects or kids crafts, the amount of fleece they have is astounding, but if you want to make anything proper useful you will have to go elsewhere, which is better anyway honestly, Id rather support a smaller store. They have no wool or anything similar, and they did not seem very interested in being helpful, seems like they only work there because it was hiring, not because they care about their jobs.

Good variety. All we kinda have. We need more fabric and variety like this around our county. Been shopping here since 81. Cool. Hasnt really changed.♡

You can find any kind of fabric of multiple colours.

Clean store, rude cashier. Helpful fabric cutter. Took 10 minutes to check out the one person ahead of us in line. She had 3 things and no issues came up for them.

I love most JOANN fabric stores many of them are wonderful!!! The one in Redding is especially nice. This one unfortunately always seems to be understaffed. Everyone working seems to be doing their best, but often times you are left waiting. Even more concerning is the fact that the front of the store often has nobody watching it, which makes me wonder how much shoplifting happens here. Still an okay place to go if you have a good coupon or one that will work with a sale.

Love this store. The only one around like it. ..now if only my sewing skills would improve !.😉

Joanns is a wonderful place to go for fabrics, yarn, and other craft needs. I love the positive energy from the staff. When I have a question or I need help I get it with a smile.

Why, oh why, does it always have to be so hot in here??? With the money Ive spent at Joanns through the years, you could have bought a decent climate control system fuve times over! The selection has improved in recent years, but I still order a lot of my fabric and supplies online to lower my costs and save myself the sick feeling I get from shopping in the heat!

Took a number and waited about 20mins to be helped. Once my turn came, I asked for assistance finding the fabric I needed (from a sample I had) and was told to find it myself. I asked again, reminding her that they have thousands of fabrics and I could not find mine. She requested I wait until she helped the costumers after me. What is the purpose of a number system if you are going to help people out of order? Dont waste your time waiting like I did. Find a different store.

Its not the only fabric store in town, but almost. Employees seem spread thin as butter. No one circulating to ask if youre finding everything you need. Wait in line for one fabric cutter, wait again for check out.. atmosphere.... Um ? None. Interesting or artistic displays....um... No. Easy to find stuff/ well marked isles?.. No. I should go apply..they need help

I love this place to get fabric and little fun decorations! This isnt a big problem, but when I purchased my fabric and she was cuting it, the pattern was off.

My wife Amparo enjoys shopping there she is safe quilter for 37 years she does beautiful work for quilts on Facebook so that you can see how she feels everything is done by hand not by Machine the patches are sold by machine but everything else done by hand on a large hoop she does beautiful work veritistic weve been married for 48 years and I dont regret anything no regrets shes a lovely wife and she feeds me very good to I weigh 220 pounds now so eating is very good

Good sales on holiday items. You can always find a 40% or 50% off coupon for one regular priced item. Plus if you have a couple coupons they allow you to use multiple coupons on separate items in the same transaction.

This is the worst excuse for a fabric store that I have ever seen. They are often out of simple notions like bias tape, not just in one color, but *at all*. Their trim & button section is a joke. Do yourself a favor and buy your notions & your fabric online & save yourself the frustration of thinking that you can get what you need locally in a timely manner.

Employees are usually helpful and friendly. Selection is somewhat limited in some areas. Sometimes JoAnn Fabrics has great sales but I never know until I get to the store. I have signed up to be on their mailing list many, many, many times.MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH JOANN FABRICS THE COMPLETE LACK OF PARKING LOT LIGHTING AT NIGHT. IT IS VERY DARK UNLESS YOU PARK IN THE FIRST 2 OR 3 SPACES NEAR THE DOOR WHICH IS NOT ALWAYS OPEN. WHEN YOU ARE ONE OF THE LAST CUSTOMERS OUT THE DOOR, YOUR LET OUT AND THE EMPLOYEES LOCK THE DOOR AND WALK OFF. YOU ARE LEFT TO WALK TO YOUR CAR IN COMPLETE DARKNESS. THIS IS DANGEROUS CONSIDERING A HIGH PERCENTAGE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE WOMEN, SOMETIMES ELDERLY WOMEN. I have mentioned this issue to employees many times but nothing changes. I asked to be escorted to my car one night by a male employee and was told he could not do that. I very rarely shop at this store anymore because it seems like everytime I need something it is at night time.

It’s the only Joann’s with in miles. I was happy to find lots of different sections including jewelry and scrapbooking and much more. The workers were busy cutting fabric and answering questions but friendly enough. I found sales. That was awesome

I havent been to a Joanns in ages and took advantage of their coupon sale. But while trying to figure out which 5 colors of cotton yarn I wished to buy an employee stood by impatiently as he wanted to place several skeins in the same area. I left without the additional purchase as I was really uncomfortable with hus fidgeting.

It is a smaller store compared to others, so it might not have as wide a selection as you would like. The staff is usually light on numbers, so you might have a hard time finding help around the store. Staff is usually friendly and polite; though maybe a little frazzled when there are a lot of customers at once.

Very clean and organized sales floor. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Can be congested by the front door, I wonder if someone in a wheelchair could navigate through? There is plenty of parking.
