My experience with Dr. Cole and his staff was awesome! Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable, and they had the latest technology. I was especially appreciative they offered a fantastic option to dilation!

Dr. Cole and his staff are a breath of fresh air. Highly professional and caring for their patients. Along with quality care they have great frames to choose from and more colors and styles that can be ordered.Dr. Cole took the time to explain different options, was patient when I was wiggly with the eye drops, and took the time to build the prescription I needed. I then picked out some frames in styles I liked and the staff helped me find the perfect shape for my face while maintaining the style I originally chose.When I came back to pick up my prescription they adjusted the glasses for my face and said I can come in at any time to do any adjustments needed if they start slipping.

Was able to get in the office within a week of calling, which was amazing. The exam was informative and comprehensive and Im looking forward to getting my new lenses.

Can confirm this is one of if not the best eye center. It took me around 9 calls to other places only to be told just the exam alone would be well over $100. Here, $95 including the extra bits they offer. And unlike the others this place can actually help my eyes, as horrible as these eyeballs are!

The office took the extra effort to ensure my son received quality special order lenses- as a consumer I would have missed the detail they noticed and insisted the lens company correct! My daughter and I are both patients of Dr. Cole and have been for 5 years. We followed him from A to Z in Arcata, and I am so happy we did. His staff is great and he is awesome. He is very caring and thorough. He is also great with children, even when they are having a bad day, which my daughter was on her last visit. He was very patient and kind. I am from out of town and was camping in the Redwoods. I injured my eye and Cole Family Eye Center was kind enough to squeeze me in. It was a life saver with not having to go to the ER for care. Their staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience here. I took my young kids in for a check up and the staff were very friendly with them and extremely patient.The equipment is very up to date. Dr. Cole seemed very on top of the current science and practices for his field of research.The staff was also great about trying to keep costs down for our family. We will definitely continue to use them for our family eye care needs.

Followed Dr. Cole from Arcata to Eureka. I have a unique eye history and my granddaughter does too. He has done great for us. The whole office goes beyond to help. I recently moved to Utah, lost my reading glasses. Didnt want to pay for a new exam, etc. I contacted Dr. Coles office. Erica had me send the frames I wanted and they had new lenses put in and sent them back. Thank you so very much !!!! They saved me time and money which we all can appreciate !

Hands down the best eye Dr. in the entire Humboldt County. Hes about finding solutions to problems, not masking them. !00% Professional AND Personable. Genuine Dr. who even called me at home twice, one to check in, the other, to help with finding a solution to an issue. Its near to impossible to get both attributes in this area. I wish he was a Primary Phys. Dr Cole, Please dont leave this area, EVER. You can be the role model for Eye Drs. Could be a superb role model for the medical field here. They ALL could learn something from you.

Things seem more streamlined with Dr. Cole. They have a new machine that can take a picture way back into your eyes so they dont have to dilate. If there actually is a problem after what they find, they can still dilate to get to the bottom of it. I gather most times the machine is all they need with no dilation. It also gives them a picture for comparison next time. It costs a little more to use the machine, but if you hate having your eyes dilated its a great solution. The doc and his staff are all very friendly.

They take time to make sure everything is done correctly and that you are happy. Dr. Cole really listens to what you need and is very honest and helpful. Highly recommend

I was actually traveling and staying in Eureka for just a few days when I started having some vision issues unexpectedly. Dr. Cole and his staff made time to see me right away and were all terrific and attentive to my concerns. By the time I left, Dr. Cole had determined my problem and helped me develop an action plan for when I got back home. I ended up buying a pair of glasses that will also help immensely...

Honest, knowledgeable, efficient, friendly staff. Clean, professional atmosphere. Went in for a resizing of my frame recently (glasses were constantly sliding) they did some magic and had me out of there in no time. Highly recommend Dr. Cole and his people.

Personal and highly professional attention is expected here. They have all new equipment and do everything related to eye-care including glaucoma exams and treatment. They have a great selection of frames and do not gauge in the prices. Highly recommended - and also fluent in spanish!
