We stopped here during our visit and found a lot of good stuff. The layout was similar to my home town store. No one greeted or helped us while we were in walking around shopping.

Love their selection but the store frequently has a long line with long wait times, which seems crazy when youre paying for a $40 concealer. (You can go to a drug store and buy a $6 one without waiting!)Also I lowered my review because they just changed their store hours to not open until 11:00 a.m.! I showed up at 10:00 a.m. to see the change in store hours and there were multiple other people who did the same thing...all of us seemed to have the same sentiment. Boo! Not convenient nor reasonable for a giant corporate store like Ulta.

I just want to say that I have been waxed by many people, but nobody has ever done better than Moiya. She was so helpful with recommending makeup that I now love, and she did such a good job with my brows. I can’t see myself ever going anywhere else! Moiya you are the best!

Pretty much like every other ulta I have been to. Great selection with prices ranging from very inexpensive to higher Sephora range prices. Very limited in the hair color department unless you want like rainbow colors. They do have 1 line of normal hair color hair dye that is really good stuff though.

The staff are super nice. I wonder how i got directed into buying lipstick when i asked for tinted lip balm. I was told it went on like chapstick with very subtle color. Nope. Full on lipstick. So i go back the next day. I aay very clearly- lipsticks. Get sold lipstick again. I said i want moisturising and sheer- just a hint of color. I know Im not asking for something odd. I guess the staff really does not know what lip balm is. So, my first wrong purchase was $17. My second wrong purchase- $25. So i paid $25 and wasted 2 days in a store for lipstick i dont want.

It has great customer clientele relations and has make up that is just perfect for doing that Lady Dimitrescue cosplay everyones been into.

Always enjoy coming here. The staff is always very polite and helpful. I love that when I bring my 7 year old daughter they always make her feel welcome and do her eyeshadow or lipstick :) Lots of wonderful beauty products as well. I always read the informative product bio online before going into the store.

I went there for gel nail polish. The area was wiped out clean. I was disappointed. Was hoping to get new colors.

Great service. MAC counter inside store. Assistance with picking out make up. Small fee and you can get a made up, with great price ideas. No Macys near me so Ulta was perfect... Carries a lot of make up lines....

The people there are supposed to be able tp recommend make-up for your specific needs. Most Ulta stores do just that, but the people in the Eureka, CA. Ulta store always seem pretty clueless. You have to run them down, even when you are the only customer in the store.

Go see Ieke at the salon if you need highlights! Her work is beautiful and shes super nice.

The associates were friendly and several asked if they could help me with anything while I was looking around. This store isnt as large as some of the others, but the selection is pretty good. I mostly shop here for hair care products, but they have a great make-up selection too.

Don’t need a review ! Make up super store!

Plenty of makeup and beauty choices, staff tries but is not all that helpful. They offer discounts with the ulta card and generally have some sales going on. Downside is that they are so up on new trends its hard to find that reliable item I really like from time to time, and have to change product to something similar once every six months.

A manager named Ryan helped me very much today. As an older women its sometimes hard to choose the best make up for older skin. Ryan was patient, helpful, pleasant & professional! She was a great help!

Sad but I cannot have a good salon experience. This time I didnt even make it in. My appointment was cancelled and the woman told me maybe Sunday but that will probably not work. Why offer a rebook to just cancel again? The floor staff are friendly but the salon tends to be reluctant and push customers away.

This store has anything you might possibly need for your skin, hair, and nails. The products that I have purchased at Ulta have exceeded my expectations and I will continue to shop there . The people that work work there are usually very kind and helpful, except on a couple of occasions. Those times the shop assistant was a bit snotty, not helping anyone else and not seemingly interested in helping someone of my age, I assume. If that happens again, I will speak to that persons supervisor.Overall I highly recommend the Ulta store in Eureka for good quality merchandise and a wide variety of beauty products.

The first thing youll hear when you walk up to the register is phone number? in a stern tone from some uppity cashier.So, so terribly sorry, darling; but did you actually entertain the thought that I would be caught unawares or intimidated by your no-nonsense demeanor and stammer out my phone number looking like a deer caught in headlights?Not today, fudge pop; not tomorrow either. And, unless Im mistaken, not next week either...but let me check my weekplanner and get back to you.

Never getting my hair dyed here again! The person who dyed my hair said that the color purple would be a lot more lighter and saddle. I don’t even want to go out in public. If anything I’m coming back there soon to have them bleach the damn color out.

I like max factor. They dont sell it. I got 3 NARS lip liners. $24 each. Also all their eyeshadows have TALC. Talc causes ovarian cancer. They have renaissance eyeshadow which looked to be free of TALC. really wanted that damn purple but it has talc. They have Morphe brushes which work so well because their bristles are soft. Jeffrey star has his brushes out but pink? Lol. I hate pink.all their testers were dried out and were out of stock on the most popular items. They offered tissues and alcohol wipes for make up testing.

Wife loves it and they have alot to offer. Plus they do have alot of stuff for men there as well

Great beauty store. Prices vary between brands. You can buy from Maybelline to MAC. Staff has always been helpful and courteous, without being pushy and overbearing.

Love the employees but doesnt sell Bulgari cologne anymore...

So I came in wanting pastel pink hair, They bleached it, burned my arm with bleach cause the girl was so sloppy. They put the dye in and it only colored my roots and the rest of my hair was an ugly orange color. They seriously made me pay full price and the only thing done right was about an inch of my roots. And they took about 7 hours for that, when sadly i could have done a better job in about 2 and a half.

Horrible customer service! There was a free gift with purchase that I was going to ask about when checking out but the first thing the girl at the register said to me was what is your phone number? Not hello, how are you, did you find everything ok? Then she couldnt figure out my coupon, pretended to add it and repeated the same total twice, didnt ask for help and tried to go past it fast so I wouldnt notice. I waited to give her a chance to catch the free gift with purchase but she didnt say a word, stood there blinking at me while I spent $100 probably hoping I would leave as quickly as possible. I will never shop there again.

, I am a little disappointed in the hair Salons new Rule that they Will Not Make Same day appointments, (not even when they are available all day ) :Due To Corona Virus .., I Feel Like That has no effect on the prevention OR protection from the virus - and also if you are getting paid to be a hair stylist but won’t schedule appointments the same day - and if you have the knowledge that no appointment was scheduled for the whole day ; then what’s the point of you even getting PAID to work that Day ?

I once came in without make up on. Horrid. I know, but I was just there to pick something up before going home. I walked in after a lady who was greeted and then I wasnt greeted. Okay. Maybe they thought we were together or something? Then I look around at the clearance NYX products and saw someone watching me. I knew they worked there because Ive been there many times and they were shadowing me acting like a customer. Maybe they were a customer, but who follows someone exatly the same way someone else is going? I left after the staff was acting like I didnt exist. I know I look bad without makeup, but damn. I went back the next day because I got a coupon and I was wearing make up that day and I decided to have an experiment. I walked in. They greeted me so politely. I was offered help multiple time by different employees. I wasnt being watched. It was good. I felt pretty sick at that thought and left. Go for it if you think its worth it. To each their own.

Everytime I go in there they are out of what im looking for. Only one gal has been able to actually be any help with makeup or recommendations. She actually spends a moment with people to try to help them even though the lack of stock at times makes it impossible damn near. Ive also gotten fed up a few times because they made it too obvious they thought I was stealing and literally followed me wo asking if I needed help even tho I had no pockets on my clothes no jacket on and my purse is tiny. I just feel more like a bother than an appreciated customer. I dont think Ill be using the gift card my sister in law gave me for my birthday.

I dont know why people are saying great customer service. The employees of this store are the worst! They look at you like they just want you to go away! If your going in there with no idea of what you need or just want to browse be prepared to get followed around the store and watched like a hawk. The employees just stand around and talk to eachother and look the opposite way if they see you coming. I didnt even want to ask for help and when I did they were very rude and unfriendly. Still, the products are great so I got what I needed and left. I was beyond upset about the horrible customer service and not only on this one occasion, but it has happened everytime I go in there. If you dont go in there looking like a model they will treat you like your going to steal something. From now on I will stick with shopping online.

I hate writing reviews, but here it goes. Will not be going there again. Went in today just to look around and see if I could find a red lipstick. Ive been in before, and have received average service. Some of the workers can be friendly, unfortunately you have to look like an uppity pre-tween or bleached, bronzed and bedazzled soccer mom to be taken seriously. Im not a 24/7 fashionista, but I still like makeup and buy it. Wasnt greeted or even acknowledged when I was there today. I know I look slightly different with my choice of hair, and excuse me if I was wearing sweatpants, I had been running errands ALL day, but acting aloof and pretentious is really unnecessary and not professional. I think Ive received helpful advice from two workers over the many times Ive been there. Its a shame the only Sephora around here is in Redding, rather prefer them over Ulta anyways as their products may be more expensive but are better quality. Also, why the f*#@ do people act offended and repulsed when you actually swatch or try the product testers when you clean them? Unless stated on the label, that IS what they are there for, hence the alcohol spray and tissues.Overall, Im super bummed. But oh well, I dont want to spend my money somewhere where the employees arent welcoming, encouraging, and helpful to all customers.
