This is by far the best garden supply store in Humboldt county. They have the best employees and vast inventory around. Their pricing is in line with the lowest in the area.... They never disappoint. And I can ALWAYS get my Happy Frog loaded quickly since I have a jacked back... Thank you guys for being awesome!

My experience was quick, they had Knowledgable friendly staff, if you got plants they will hook you up with the food, soil and info you need to grow them.

The old staff used to be cool. The new staff are rude and the prices went up on most everything. Not the place it used to be... sad. I will be taking my (quite large) account elsewhere. Too bad

Employees need to learn how to pick up the phone and all be on the same page.A few guys don’t care about anyone wearing a mask, then you have a few other people that will make rude comments and basically drive you out of the store to where you want to just do a nice doughnut in that pothole “parking lot”.I choose humboldt hydroponics over this place anyday of the week.

In an area where “grow stores” abound Bayside stands head and shoulders above the rest because of their knowledgeable friendly staff willing to help with your smallest need to having everything you require in stock, on site. They specialize in Farm Supplies so no order is too big yet they also take great care to cultivate relationships with even the smallest apartment gardeners. I have dealt with every shop within 250 miles and cannot find one shop with the same friendly attitude willing to help every customer big or small. Most shops make you feel like an outsider, making it uncomfortable to ask for simple items, NOT Bayside they are friendly, trustworthy, a true Class operation, making ALL customers feel at home, encouraging dialogue to insure they get you exactly the best supplies or tools for your job!After 40yrs of farming I have seen stores come and go but Bayside works assiduously to earn your trust and business. Seriously great prices on the best garden products. Great selection of quality fertilizers and the staff knows their products and are always helpful. They keep a good level of staffing there as well as a solid inventory. Easy to get to right on highway 101.

I started going here after being employed by a farm and they are always very helpful with their feedback. At first I didn’t know how to feel about them because I couldn’t tell if they were happy to have my business since it’s not a huge company, but after going a few times they chippered up and went above and beyond explaining any questions I had. Great place, but the last time I was there A CUSTOMER WAS NOT WEARING A MASK and the people behind the counter totally let him come and go from the store without saying a thing.
