I showed up at the shop with my 1961 Featherweight in need of some TLC! Camping in the area from Colorado I was desperate to get it working so that I could continue with my “On the Road” project. Dropped off my vacuum for a replacement hose and a cleaning on January 2nd. On February 6th got completely tired of borrowing my friends vacuum. Nothing had been done to my vacuum, and no new hose. Took it to an establishment across town. Got my hose fixed and an operational vacuum back in 3 hours.

OK. waited a few minuets after closing to help me. when I asked what I called for they were rude about finding it. paid 12.99 for a 6.99 filter at amazon so about 2x price but locally convenient

I went in the other day to buy a small item, and the owner was extremely helpful. I wish other businesses in this area had a customer service standard this high.

Great sewing store and helpfull employees

SUPERB! Five Stars does not come close to the customer service that I received from these fantastic owners!! My husband and I are travelling south, via our sailboat. Prior to our leaving our Washington home, we had packed all non-essentials and taken them to wait for us at my mothers in Las Vegas. Well, apparently I had packed too well, and wound up packing the power cord to my Pfaff Creative Performance with it. It wasnt until we in Crescent City, CA that I realized my error, when I was having an embroidery withdrawl moment. I searched the internet - I came across Boyd Sewing & Vacuum. Knowing that we were going to be stopping in Eureka for just a short time, I contacted the store, emailed a photo of my sewing machine along with one of the recepticle. Not only was Frank available to identify the correct cord, but he and his lovely wife, Susan delivered it to us at the marina after we arrived. We have no means of transportation, and since we arrived later in the afternoon on Friday, and they are closed Saturday, and we didnt believe wed be around for the next business day, their willingness to go out of their way and make the delivery is priceless! I highly recommend them! If you cant find what you are looking for, knowing these two, they will find a way to get it for you! I know that I will keep their phone & email handy since I know I will need supplies and they will ship items! YAY Frank & Susan! Thank you so very much!!!
