Great spot, I buy my local honey from here. The prices are unbeatable on their fresh produce. Delicious chocolate too! They have fresh herbs at a great price as well.

The curbside pickup is great. I love it since I typically have my dog with me when going out. Unlike other retailers, no reservations are required and the items are typically ready to be picked up within an hour or so of ordering them.

Nice little market place but staff isn’t very friendly specially the lady in the deli . All the produce was great and the seafood prices were good but there wasn’t any in the display cabinet so I guess they had sold out.

Best lunch meats in town. Many items available here that you wont find anywhere else.This is a small grocery that has great produce. At first glance you might think some items dont really look that great but in close examination you might call them seconds, meaning they may be misshapen, or slightly blemished.......but then look at the prices. The Tomatos are the best Ive ever had from a grocery.The service people are easy to talk to and accommodating.This has become a regular stop for us.

The place to go to get local, fresh produce. They are reasonably priced and the service has always been excellent.

Vegetables are great. Cold cuts are great. The speciality items are great. They have a huge wine selection and fresh seafood. Last but not least.. dynamite apple fritters. One of my favorite stores 😋

Great place, when going plan on spending some time as they have so much stock and it is constantly changing. The manager is a hard worker and very considerate.

Not your typical big box store. The good is good and the atmosphere is like an old country market. I like it.

Underwhelmed with actually seeing it versus the reviews prior to visit. Was there mid afternoon on Wednesday and even though they were bringing out fresh veggies, there was a limited variety. Produce looked fresh as did the seafood counter.

Great prices on thin cut rib eyes and veal for Parmesan.

Our first time visit was a good one. This is not your run of the mill supermarket, it is a small neighborhood type market with a great dejection of fresh produce and a wall of specialty items. The only meat selection is frozen and limited but they do have seafood to chose from and some baked goods. Its a nice smaller scale market and we will go back again.

Small supermarket that is big on fresh fruits and vegetables. They have a meat section as well but I didnt have a chance to look at it. Prices were reasonable and they have a convenient location next to a dollar general and big lots.

This is normally an awesome place for produce. Right now though.. pickings are slim. Im thinking they may be struggling financially and therefore I go and buy what I can to help them out. I do like to help small businesses. Just be sure to watch the dates on bagged produce. The manager is very helpful finding better selection from the back, if what you see isnt satisfactory.

My favorite place for Amish cheese and other deli treasures. They have an interesting collection of food and produce, and a wide collection of wines!

Great little grocer.

I used to love this place. It was THE only place I would buy my produce, sliced meats and cheese. Not sure what has happened there, though. Seems it has really gone down hill in the past 6 months - year. Entire sections of coolers broke down. Very low inventory, a lot of “outs” on the shelves. Produce inventory and quality leaves a lot to be desired, even when the produce coolers are working there still seems to be large “wholes” of out-of-stock. Not as clean as it used to be. Entirely different crew, it seems, less attentive. Cashiers seem more interested in conversing with each other than taking care of customers, that is when there is more than one cashier ringing up customers. Also, very poorly staffed now. Seems like there is only a few people trying to do everything.There is much less variety at deli counter compared to my visits from a year or so ago. As with the produce. Deli attendants not so friendly, like they used to be. The whole of the store in general just seems to be getting “run down”. Perhaps new owners, not sure, but something has definitely changed.We used to shop there at least once or twice a week. Now, haven’t been in since July. Not shopping there any longer. We just get everything at Publix now, pay the higher price. Hometown Market no longer worth the extra stop, just to be disappointed when I learn they are out of what I stopped for anyway. :-(

The Hometown Market is now owned/or run by a new entity. They have polished the store nicely from before when sometimes didnt seem very clean. They even sell flowers now. The veggies are wonderfully clean and some are wrapped (scallions). They have every known spice to man in small containers. They have the most wonderful bok choy too and a great selection of potatoes; a great selection of wine some of which is cheaper than Publix. They also have raw, large African peanuts which my husb loves to roast in the oven at home and take to Gator baseball games.

The staff are rude and not helpful! I have tried to get a specific kind of donut for 2 weeks and they consistently have not ordered it even though my wife has been asking for them. They carry donuts including the kind I want, but when I started getting them they stopped ordering them. Their produce also is not nearly as good as claimed! All around take your business elsewhere if you want good prices good service or expect to be treated decently! This business should not be open. The management and customer service is over-the-top atrocious! I would give a 0 stars rating if possible! Further I can say I nor any friends I have will not shop here again unless a huge change is made to store polacy and staff!

LOVE this place! Great to get lunch meat and cheese from their deli. Its cheaper or more of a value in every way (even if its a little more, depending on what you get) also the BEST place to go for seafood. Love getting crab cakes here. Crab legs when I can afford it lol. I refer to this as the Amish store. But yes absolutely check this place out if you havent been.

This place seems to have gone down hill since my last visit..little organic offerings and not the most fresh of produce. With other options in the area considered, I probably wont return unless something changes in the quality of produce department.

Small grocery store and butcher shop. Great deli meats, fresh seafood when they have it (it goes fast!). Many organic products. Moderately priced wines. Amish dairy products. A refreshing change from the humongous chain grocery stores that surround me.

Hometown Market is a great little market. Theres a good selection of fresh seafood/fish, fruits and veggies, and deli meats and cheeses. The prices are phenomenal, and everything is always very fresh and tasty. We just got a delicious Swiss cheese with rye seeds in it today, from their deli. They change up their stock often, so you can try new things, and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Happy shopping!

Produce its fresh. Since I am vegan I am more particular than most about my friend and vegetables. Hometown is my favorite grocery store now. I can one stop shop here. Thank you.

Havent been in a long time. Seafood case was almost empty which was really disappointing.

Fresh organic produce, great prices!

I have just been shopping here and although the food is fresh and all the staff are helpful and all wearing masks, I was shocked to see at least 80% of customers had no masks on and didnt keep social distancing. I didnt feel very comfortable and I wont be back

Great little market with lots of snacks, wine and fresh foods. The service was great also, very friendly. For a small place they get a lot of great products in there. Its a must to check out. I will be going back.

A bit pricey

Nice little market with local stuff and good prices and a great selection of things. I had been looking for sasporilla for a long time and I was very impressed they had some. They have a nice wine and cheese selection and some pastries that I will have to check out next time Im in the area.

Great prices, friendly people

Shopped on a Sunday. The produce looked fine and there were some nice specials. My complaint is the customer service. Not one person spoke or said hello. There was a store clerk putting up the produce and he never said hello or even looked at us. Stopped a the fish counter and had to get one of two clerks behind the counter to wait on us and felt we were intruding. I tried to smile at the other one and she would not have any of that. The checkout was fine. The lady was nice, but never thanked us for shopping there. All in all I feel the owner should train the employees, even on a Sunday, to smile, and most of all thank the guests. for shopping there. Probably wont return mostly because I felt like I should not have been there in the first place. Just a feeling.

I love Hometown Market! They offer a great variety of products from Indiana and Ohio Amish country. The produce is abundant and fresh. I was surprised at the variety of meats and cheeses at the deli. They even have GF options!!

Produce is always fresh and beautiful! We really love the restaurant in the front of the store and we eat there every time we do a grocery trip.

The staff is super friendly to us. They started recognizing us and greeting us after about four or five visits. They have the best prices on fresh produce in this area! And the store is small enough that I dont get lost looking for things.

The deli meats are delicious. Veg and fruit are fresh and reasonably priced. But, some of the employees need to be retrained as to how to communicate with the customers and to put a smile on on their faces. I feel they do not make the customers feel appreciated.

I really like their low sodium turkey and Swiss cheese from the deli. I get a lot of my fresh veggies there. They carry Donut King donuts that are just awesome.

Nice prices on lunch meats. Vegetable and fruit prices were decent. Cashier was very friendly. Deli workers werent very knowledgeable on slicing and never even offered a sample to see if we liked it.

Excellent alternative for the conscious consumer! Clean, well organized interior, competitive prices with an accent on health, some special diet options and whole foods. Friendly cashiers! I recommend ordering your deli products online in advance to avoid delays. My only gripe would be a few of the deli/seafood staff. Could do better by focusing on a more positive customer experience. Old codgers dont care for the attitude. We prefer quality. Some constructive criticism.

Had some unusual items, got peach salsa and excellent cured beef stick.Very pleasant people, will go again for sure and reasonable wine.

The place to go for Argentinian Red Shrimp. Always look for it on sale to stock up on the frozen 1lb bags. Vegetables, deli meats, & cheeses as well as other seafood also available. Daily they have fresh donuts & apple fritters from Donut King in Clermont.

Amazing local market. A few other stores like Sprouts were in this same spot and never seemed to stick around. I dont know what Sprouts has done but they have nailed it. Great prices. A myriad of different products. Vegan, organic, free-range, locally grown...they have it.

Quality organic produce. They always have a good variety of product available. Things dont always last as long here, but its because everything is preservative free.

This is a little store with an awesome variety of fresh, healthful, mostly organic produce. And wine!! This has become my go to for all my grocery needs. Go by right now for juicy Scuppernongs and Concords. Their short September season goes by so fast!

They used to carry an olive salad my husband loved and when I asked about it they said they would order it, 3 weeks later still never came in was told they are not carrying it anymore. They also are supposed to be known for their donuts and everytime I come in there they are almost completely empty. Lastly I entered the 12 weeks give away around Christmas and noticed that the same person had won twice, when I questioned it I was told it was random. I dont need or want their free food however maybe some other family may is only fair. If I had won twice I definitely would have spoken up and done the right thing. Sorry Hometown Market I will not be returning, nor will my family and friends.

The best place to get fresh wholesome produce and great Amish lunch meats and cheeses. They also sell Amish bacon and peppered bacon! I feel like Im back home in Ohio at lunch time.
