New to the area & found this place from Google. People were friendly & nice. The views were immaculate & I couldnt be happier! We did get sun poisoning though so USE SUNSCREEN!!

We always enjoy renting kayaks here and exploring the Savannah river and canal. We recently joined them on a moonlit tour and it was a blast. Highly recommend. Kind and outgoing people.

A definite must do. We decided last week to do the Serene 18 tour, something weve never done. In doing research ahead of our trip it was a bit confusing as to where to start and who to book with. After text messages with Andy at Outdoor Augusta we decided to go there. When we arrived I realized I had booked and made a deposit with another company but after talking with Andy I decided I was where I needed to be. Andy is clearly knowledgeable and professional. A real ambassador for the Serene 18. Before our first launch he made sure we knew where we were going and that we had his number for any help along the way. Needless to say he went out of his way to help make our trip an awesome adventure. If you are considering a trip on the Serene 18 definitely go with Andy and Augusta Outdoors. We will definitely be back. Make sure and go to Stallings Island and feed the donkeys and goats.

$25 for single kayak for as long as you want to paddle is one of the best kayak rentals that I have come across. Great city park location with easy launch and parking. Great friendly staff with good scenery all around.

Owner was super nice and made renting kayaks so easy. Will definitely rent from them again. River was calm and easy to paddle around for the day.

Soooooo much fun! We did the entire loop. Took us about 2hr45min, but I’m pretty sure that’s because we didn’t know how to properly paddle a tandem kayak. Smdh. LOL. Nonetheless, we had a blast! The staff is wonderful and very helpful! I can tell they love their job!

Great and fast service, I was in the water within 30 mins after i parked the car. The whole trail was about 6 miles long, and we did it in 4 hours with a few water breaks here and there. There are some motor boats along the wider side of the river, so beware when you are making your way back on that side.

I would suggest to save your money and put it towards the purchase of your own boat. They had over booked on reservations, so what they had promised me was not available when i arrived. It took over an hour of waiting before they finally got something for us and it was nothing that I had already reserved THE DAY BEFORE.Also the whole time they were playing loud music with obscene language. They were very rude to me and smarted off about not being able to hear me over their own music.I enjoyed being around the snake we saw more than the employees.

These folks are just the best. Andy wanted our trip to be the best experience we could have, before, during, and after we finished the Serene 18. Very flexible and reasonably priced. Well worth it. You cant go wrong.

Highly recommended! Andy delivered and picked up the canoe we rented. He communicated well and we knew what to expect. The daily rate was very fair. We were camping at Petersburg and were able to canoe right off our site.

I had a great time with my group. The loop takes about three hours at an easy pace. You can even bring your dogs if theyre disciplined enough to stay on the kayak.

They are awesome, always helpful and informative.

So much fun!!!! Great equipment. We are a big family and rented 2 tandum kyaks 1 single kyak and 2 stand up paddle boards. Our family ranges from ages 50 to 12 and everyone was able to have fun and handle the equipment. Best prices in town, no time limit and the water loops and trails were perfect and many options. The owners were so nice. We saw them help a new couple learn how to use the equipment and went on thier first run with them. When we were done they put up all the equipment and we didnt have to do anything. Great small business, kyak rentals small snacks and drinks. Highly recommend for families and people going for a leisurely float.

They should let you know that they might not have a tandem even if you call and reserve one, and so it could cost you 20 bucks extra. Other than that. Had a great time kayaking and enjoying the wildlife and scenery, this was my first time 😉

The guy is so nice and caring. When it got dark and we was still out on the water, he came to make sure we was ok and knew how to get to the end of the river trail. I would love to do it again.

Andy and crew are really cool. Theyll help you get set up in whichever vessel you want. Afterwards, they get the kayaks pulled in and out away for you. They even let my kids use some water squirters they had in the shed while we kayaked. Plus they run a Thursday night social paddle.I like paddling from Riverside, because youve got options - you can do the entire 6 mile loop out in the river, you can just chill on little River and play on the sand bar, or if the waters high you can go up Euchee creek.
