Some of these 1 and 2 star reviews are pretty Suspect? This place was amazing and the single best game store Ive ever been in. Replay has nothing on these guys. Chelsea had exceptional knowledge when it came to retro games. This place is a hidden gem. Even had a wrestling section. Easily 5 stars.

Pretty cool place. Lots of different toys and a good selection of retro games. The arcade is a pretty good value although due to the nature of old arcade games being difficult to maintain theres often a few that are down. Thier record selection looks pretty good but Ive not looked through it personally.

And thats not to mention the main attraction: the arcade! Incredible variety of games, all in amazing condition! Super affordable too! I love going to SHQ with my best friend to hang out and play in the arcade for an hour or two. Great place to go! Id give them a dozen stars if I could!

Great games, friendly staff, nice record collection, fair pricing.

As a comic book and toy store, this place is great. More than enough in there to throw your memories back to childhood. However, the flat rate, unlimited play arcade is why we want to go there more than anything. Definitely gives an authentic arcade feel for those of us who remember playing in Aladdins Castle or similar places in the malls of the 80s.

We loved the retro arcade. I took my son and nephews there and they loved it as well. Great price to play unlimited games for an hour. The had a good selection of games to chose from as well. The store is also good we didnt spend a lot of time in their because our visit was about the arcade. They do have a good selection of action figures and retro games to choose from.

A great big little secret on the North side of Evansville, Indiana is the Secret Headquarters.It is the place for all things collectible ranging from comic books, Pops, board games, video games & video game systems of all types, as well as Xbox One game stations with an assortment of titles to choose from, all played by the hour.Also, there is a few pinball games and a retro arcade on site with titles from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. All hands on gaming is played by the hour. The rates are very reasonable!The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are as excited to talk about games as you will be about playing them. If you are a gamer, enthusiast, or collector you will likely find more than a few items in this shop that will catch and keep your attention.I have yet to mention all the other nostalgic collector items that are available for purchase! Transformers, action figures (both open and unopened), and Pokemon figurines are just to name a few! The store inventory varies based on recent transactions on any given day. You must remember that there are only so many original items out there for purchase that you can actually take home and share with your family. So if you are looking for a particular item then definitely call ahead and talk to the staff before going in. They would be glad to help!If you havent heard the secret yet, now you know and you should go! I love this place. Between their consoles, games, comics, figures, and events its by far in my opinion the best comic shop in Evansville. The employees are knowledgeable and good with customers too.

Took some older video game consoles, controllers & games in, while they checked out my stuff to work me up an offer they let my kids & wife use the Indoor arcade at no charge ! We werent able to make a deal on the things I brought in but I will say I appreciate the way these folks do business & they will definitely pay you more for your stuff than GameStop !! They have a nice selection of comics & other memorabilia available in store, Would recommend !!!

Generally they have a great selection of comics. They have books and collectables. They also have an arcade. You pay for the time you use the games by the hour. This is for all the games. Nice place to bring your kids. If you like comics games and collectables this is the place for you.

The single best comic store Ive encountered while traveling the United States. I found more gems and quality comics here than the 131 other comic stores Ive been too in my 12 years of travel. Had no problem finding silver, golden age and even graded books. They even had an expert on staff for comics to help with grading.Havent even gotten to the selection of games, big cities have nothing on these folks. Never seen the selection of video games and consoles like this place.I didnt get a chance to do the arcade but strolled through. Holy Moly! Ninja Turles, Ms. Pac, Donkey Kong, House of the Dead, Mario Kart, Frogger, Tron, Galaga and some newer stuff. Amazing.

They wanted 65 dollars for a Switch game that can be purchased, brand new, for far less elsewhere. Even at big-box retailers.Its hard to support a local business when theyre gouging prices that badly.Edit: It was Super Mario 3D All-Stars. I very well could have read it wrong, but I saw 65 dollars.Its currently sitting at 45 dollars new on Pricecharting.com, and was about 15 dollars cheaper at stores like Target and Walmart at the time I visited originally. Please correct me if Im wrong and Id be glad to remove my review.

They really had good quality food. People are extremely nice at this Popeyes.

We had a good time in the arcade. My only complaint was that some of the joysticks were sticking which impacted gameplay, especially on Frogger. I wish there were more games but getting an hour of entertainment for only $5 is hard to beat.

Best shop ive been to hands down. They have it all comics, video games, toys, arcade, game lounge, vinyls and more. I guarantee you wont find a nicer owner or staff either. Location has a plethora of funkos an arcade room and tons of collectables along with a special VIP lan lounge that can be rented out.

Love the nostalgia of the arcade and my two kids love it too. Went to the arcade on my sons birthday, another time the kids participated in a big fortnight competition there. Great place to shop games and gifts.

Awesome place!!! HUGE selections of video games, consoles and their accessories, action figures new and vintage including the always sought after POP! figures, and comic books galore. It also has an arcade room!! They Buy, Sell, Trade and I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the items that I mentioned.

My son loves coming here to look at the wrestling figures and they have a decent vinyl record selection for me. Its a cool little spot and the employees are always great.

Ill drive the hour to Evansville just to visit the Headquarters. I dont have a single bad thing to say about this business. I could spend hours in the arcade or just browsing vintage toys/comics in the aisles. The owner is a great guy as well. All around good times for any age, highly recommend.

Great store! Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. My daughter was looking for some pretty specific vintage video game items and while the store didnt have what she was wanting, the employee (owner, maybe?) talked with her about other options in the area to find what she was looking for, as well as took her name and number in the event he got something in. Im sure well be back frequently so she can check their stock.

Cool store and retro arcade

Mega Replay offered me $50 for a $500 item. These guys told me what I had, what it was worth and why it was worth a lot. Not only did I get educated but the offer they gave to me was far beyond fair. I dont know what some of these negative reviews are all about but some of these one stars seem extremely fishy. Five stars all day long

This place is THE BEST. We have been going multiple times a month since they opened and always seem to find something we want (or need). Our son loves the arcade and the gaming room, and Im always stocking up on my Funko pops. The workers are AMAZING and always up to have a nerdy conversation!!

Love bringing my son here. We had a birthday party there and everything was great....and affordable!! They give free arcade time for good grades on report cards as well!

Awesome vintage toys and slabbed comics

This is one of the best comic book stores I have ever been in. The staff is wonderful, and the selection is great! From new issues, to back issues, and even a large section of just $1 comics. On top of a great comic selection, they have video games, and just general nerd collectibles. This out of all the comic shops in Evansville this one is the least easy to get for me, but I still go out of my way to spend my money here.

It had so many different kinds of action figures that I hadnt seen since my 90s childhood. It was awesome to see such a variety of nostalgic figures.

Went in this past Saturday and played the arcade games. $5.00 for 1 hour of play is a great deal. It is a rather small selection and some were out of order and some were out of credits. Overall, I would definitely go back again.

Secret Headquarters is my favorite place to shop for pops, comic books, and their arcade is pretty awesome as well. The owner and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly too! I go here at least once every two weeks, love it!

They didnt quite have what I was looking for, but I found something I wanted and I look forward to playing their arcade.

Interesting store, but I have had multiple poor customer service experiences here. They don’t return phone calls, and don’t follow through on promises to order or hold items. There is a girl that works here that seems to know what she is doing, but the two male employees I’ve dealt with don’t seem to care about customers at all. There are definitely other comic book stores in town with way better customer service and management.

The Arcade is a lot of fun! $5.00 for an hour and then $2.50 each additional hour. Quite a few old-school arcade games to make it worth your time and money and it has such a classic feel to it. Easily one of the coolest places around for anybody who loves classic arcades.

We had my 3 year olds birthday party here last weekend. Great environment for the kids! Staff was very nice and interactive with the kids. They have so many different consoles and so many games the kids loved every minute. Even the teenagers that came thanked me afterwards. I thought great a 3 year old party, this is going to be boring. Actually this was a awesome party said a friends older son. So I just really want to thank the staff once more, you guys are great!

Some of the most ignorant ONE and TWO star reviews! I went in here with a negative attitude on Saturday reading some of the reviews (which seem to advertise Super Mega Garbage) and I left with a smile on my face, made two friends and the guy actually knew what the hell he was talking about and event stumped me on some toys and comics. This place is ...P.E.R.F.E.C.T.....The guy wishing the arcade games were in better shape must not have even played them. These are 30-40 years old and still going....I dont care how pretty the paint is as long as I can play my Frogger and Tron. Petty reviews almost kept me from going in here.

I came up in the 70s so I live in arcades this place makes me feel like Im 16 years old again, they have every video game you can imagine and a few pinball machines that you came up on. Its like going back in time. You need to check this place out if you havent been there yet.
