Stopped in here yesterday 4-16-21, to get a bottle of water, as it was time to take my medicine for my 911 illness. I am a retired fireman that spent time in NY digging on the rubble from 9/11 and now am dying from the exposure to jet fuel, alkalie and concrete dust. I am unable to wear a mask due to my lung condition. The clerk behind the counter proceeded to tell me that I had to put a mask on. I explained to her that I can not wear a mask due to my lung condition and unable to breath with a mask on. She said she did not care, and that she could not serve me unless I had a mask on and asked me to leave. Talk about discrimination against the handicap. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and wouldnt even give it a 1 star. quite frequently I would stop into this place prior to Covid.. I will stop at Pauls Convenience store from now on. They welcomed my business with open arms and to never worry about wearing a mask in there establishment; and yes, they were made aware of my inability to wear a mask.
Just useless. Rude. Cant count change. Takes forever to get in and out. Excelsior Springs is better than this. Youre right in the middle of the beautiful historic districts. Put a little more effort into hiring appropriate staff please. Lack of competition certainly has its down side for the customers when it comes to this place.
Very Very rude even the managers. Would argue with me. Often out of the cigs I smoke. Manager/Staff will stand around and chat and leave you waiting, often have long lines with one person running a register and 2 standing around talking.
Love it
