Friendly service. Good coffee ☕ and pastries! Friendly service! Your coffee ☕ is made in front of you. A colleta (?)was used. It filters the coffee ☕ into a drip brew. I had the Ethiopian/Columbian Decaf and an oatmeal raspberry square. Touchless payment option available.Facemasks required. Window seat and table with ♟️ chess set available. Lots of photography and artwork for sale.Online orders available. I recommend a visit.

D^2 is worth the visit and/or becoming your regular local spot. The drinks hold their own with the best of em, but they leave behind the pretence that can come with speciality coffee. The cherry on top is the hospitable nature of the staff and the shop itself. Take a load off, have a brew.

Great little coffee shop in downtown Exeter. They have 5 small tables (2 outdoor 3 indoor) with 10 bar stools.Red chili tea latte was great! Extemely mild and subtle chili flavor that doesnt overpower the coffee.Staff here seems knowledgeable and super friendly.

It’s my new favorite place for a coffee and healthy style breakfast.Fair prices; fairly fast service.Good food options and big coffee and tea menu.I had Matcha Latte w/oat milk and it was reach and not sweet (the way I like it); my friend had Chai Latte which was very delicious, but a little too sweet for my taste. We also had Avocado Toast $8 + $1 for poached egg; and Poached Egg plate $9 (served with fresh strawberries w/SUGAR,of which I wish I knew before hand).

This place honestly has the best lattes, notably the chai, matcha, mocha, hot chocolates, and London Fog. I always order with oat milk! They should serve their hot drinks at at a hotter temperature, though. I am in love with their vegan peanut butter brownies.

They have good cappuccinos and lattes. Their peanut butter swirl brownies and cinnamon cookies they sell are delicious. Sometimes the coffee and food have this weird almost greasy taste to them. Im not sure what it is - the milk, the building air, or the water? Your guess is as good as mine. Theyre always super friendly and passionate about coffee here. A solid place to get something for your sweet tooth.

Amazing place! You walk in and are hit with a VERY strong aroma of coffee and tea. Its the best smell ever. The staff were smiling and so kind! I just got an Ethiopia coffee to go; they brew by the cup, so its always fresh and less wasteful! I also got a San Pellegrino water, and my total was around $7. Not to bad for a small joint like this!

An unrefined but cute cafe for small bites and custom drinks. Decor is on the shabbier side of shabby-artistic but does not take away, in my opinion, from the experience. However seating is quite limited. They happened to be out of stock for a number of ingredients and menu items but tried to come up with creative alternatives. Ordered the poached egg plate - great flavor and hearty plate for a snack-like menu.Amazing pastries and a lot of gluten free options - my GF mom loved the maple-oatmeal scone.Homemade pumpkin sauce for lattes and a selection of wonderful teas and coffees. I tried a pumpkin latte (not amazing, but fine) and ordered a Sumatra pour-over to go (quite good).A fun and comfort-foodie cafe to pop into if you find yourself in downtown Exeter!

I Love warm drinks and coffee is a treat. In a world where capitalism raids us of our individuality and squeezes us miserably for return on profit, in essence forces us into genericism D2 Java is a breath of fresh air. With a diverse drink menu, its quality is so evident to me that when I leave that place I miss it and when I come back to it I smile. The aroma of the fresh brewed chia and authentic ingredients is unmatched (I dont want to ruin it for you by telling you too much, you just gotta go). D2 Java is the best kept secret in the American coffee house world. In fact they are hard to lump into the coffee shop box because of how diverse their menu is. They are a small independent owned coffee shop that invests the time to make each drink uniquely and consistently with all natural ingredients which you get to see made right in front of your face. Not to mention the potency of the drinks; one shot of espresso from D2 and Im a buzz for hours. If you dont know about this place you need to go find out before the lines start getting too long. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts etc. be afraid; be very afraid.
