Excellent service. The vehicle was collected, serviced and returned the same day looking as new, with a comprehensive report. I must add that some tuition from John the driver on the vehicle’s performance potential – not available when the vehicle was purchased from another Lexus agent during lockdown last year- was extremely useful. Definitely recommended.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a review of only 2 stars.I bought a used Lexus from a different franchise in 2019. Exeter is my nearest “local” dealer and so chose them for further services etc.Last year all was good (considering lockdown etc)This year, I received a call from Lexus and arranged a date to drop the car off, collect a courtesy vehicle and also accepted the offer of a complimentary full wash and valet.Arrived at the dealership to find that no courtesy car was booked / available - which meant I couldn’t have it done and had to rebook service for this week. (The reason was apparently, a communication problem with the central booking team and their in-house team). The Service guy (Richard) offered me a 10% discount to compensate for the inconvenience (I live an hour away from this location, so it takes a bit of planning to get time off)Arrived yesterday for 2nd attempt of service and collected courtesy car and left.They are clearly a very busy dealership. However, when I arrived to collect my car, I assumed it had been washed and valeted. . . . Far from it! I think someone might have run a hose pipe over it, but it certainly wasn’t washed (still had seagull poo on the roof) and the only difference inside was the driver’s side mat had been vacuumed. When I went in to ask why it hadn’t been cleaned, they said it was down to a new team . . And they were very busy . . . SO AM I!I paid £450 for the service, had to take a day out of my work to be there and they didn’t have time to clean my car.I work really hard to own a premium / luxury vehicle and wouldn’t dream of doing half a job with any of my customers. It’s not OK to pass the buck and blame outside influences. Someone clearly doesn’t care about customer service and satisfaction.I just hope they had “time” to actually service my car properly. 😕

Our sales executive Cameron was always attentive and very helpful, explained clearly what our options were when choosing to fund our new vehicle and answered all our questions in a full and straightforward way. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble. Cameron with the help of Centre Manager Phil, was able to source a new UX250 F Sport with a Takumi pack for us and although there was a delay in receiving delivery, Phil made sure we were always kept informed and up to date.Cameron provided a UX250 for us to drive whilst we were awaiting delivery as we had sold our 2 year old Mercedes !We love our new UX.Thank you Cameron. The salesman Scott Cornwall from Lexus Exeter was fantastic. He made sure we was happy with everything before continuing with our car purchase, always keeping in contact incase we had any questions and was always super helpful and happy to help when needed, even if the questions sounded stupid from my end. And also was happy to help with information regarding the add ons such as dash cams.There should be more salesmen like him out there! Best experience Ive had buying a car was with him via Lexus. Most enjoyable visit when having my car serviced.Id especially like to point out the excellent service from the receptionist who made sure I was well catered for with coffee not just on arrival but also during my stay there and the clean condition of the car when I collected it after the service. To Lexus Customer Relations,I have recently purchased a car from Lexus Exeter - RX 450h F SPORT PRO, Reg: NV63 AOK on 03/09/21. After driving the car for a couple of weeks, I noticed that 4 warning lights had come on - ABS, AFS system, Brake system, AWD system. I figured that these were all important to get checked and was referred to Lexus Southend to have these investigated (as this is my local dealer). On receiving the report afterwards, it was noted that there is heavy corrosion to the underside of the vehicle and some non-Lexus service parts have been fitted. I was disappointed to hear this, and the technician who had noted this suggested that it was not fit for sale in the first instance. I have raised this with Lexus Exeter but little has been done to address the issue. I have stated that this car is currently not safe for driving and that it should not have been sold to me from the beginning. They have breached a few of their terms and conditions, which I shall outline below.On reading into the T&Cs of Lexus vehicles, I see that All Lexus SELECT vehicles must have a service and mileage history that is approved by the Lexus Centre - on looking at the Warranty and Service booklet, I can see that the last service was done in July 2019 (according to the handwritten date), however the stamp suggests it was completed in 2021. There appears to be a discrepancy here and it looks highly suspect.Furthermore, there is a term stating that Our SELECT cars have undergone an exhaustive 150-point quality and safety check. A specialist Lexus technician carefully inspects the cars overall condition - outside, inside and underneath. I do not believe that this has been fulfilled, I never received a full safety checklist with my purchase and clearly the car had not been fully inspected by the team at Lexus Exeter as there is extensive corrosion to the inside and underside of the vehicle (see images).I have attached the appropriate evidence to support my case - images of the initial warning lights, the extensive corrosion to car parts, the report from Lexus Southend, and a copy of the service log. The report details from Lexus Southend are as follows: Account number - c1802/ Document number - 18352927spent 8 hours to lexus southend- on-sea, still not solve the 4 warning problems. and found another problems, the report is heavy corrosion to the underside of the vehicle and some NON lexus service parts fitted to the vehicle i can not believe like this condition lexus rx 450 sold from lexus main dealer, it is not a approved car, you have broken the rules of LEXUS approved car commitment. totally disappointed.

My experience with Scott my sales adviser was one of the worst ones I have ever had and unsure why a company like Lexus has someone so unprofessional and rude working for them and then the car itself was not PDI properly and still had problems with it so over all very disappointing experience and not one you would expect from a company like Lexus. I’m hopeful that the car problems will get fixed soon but still a big inconvenience to me though.

I was given the run around. I explained the problem, I was told there wasnt a problem because of reason 1. I then explained reason 1 was not valid and why, I was then given a different reason. Every time I countered their reason for it not working they changed the reason it wasnt working. This continued until I gave up.

Our experience with this dealership was first class. we saw the car we wanted online, we were given a very good price for our trade in and the price we paid met our budget. I only rang to see what my options were with no prior plans to buy from Lexus Exeter, solely because I am based more than 200 miles away. But within less than a week I have got an excellent brand new ES sitting in my car park here in London nicely delivered all the way from Exeter with proper care, completely free of charge. This essentially shows how satisfying their service was that kept me hooked up throughout the process. I was served by Henry Sherlock, a very softly spoken chap, a true gentleman who took care of me from the begging in line with my preference and choice. The video of the car Henry made was the real game changer that persuaded me to stick with Lexus rather than going elsewhere as I initially had planned to. His indepth knowledge about the smart features of the car as well as on the offers available from Lexus was truly amazing. He was very honest in his approach which persuaded me most and made me choose Lexus over other competitors. He would reach out to his manager Philip for anything he wasnt sure of or beyond his authority to give me the most accurate information rather than giving me just an answer. I found Henry very proactive, helpful, honest and easy to deal with. He made the entire remote purchase experience smooth and pleasant. Besides, he always kept me posted with due updates, more videos and ensured I was completely satisfied and happy with the driving experience. This skill often takes years to develop among sales professionals. But it seemed to come perfectly naturally to Henry. Great service from the moment I walked in. Initially they didnt have the used car I wanted but Greg kept looking for me and one luckily came in that fit the bill. Non-pushy pre-sales, just stated the facts with products that are competitive and very useful. Post-sale Ive had exceptional treatment due to a few niggles but with my 12 month warranty I had no worry and can even visit approved Lexus dealers elsewhere. The IS-300h is excellent and I am extremely glad I purchased it. Hopefully I will be back in 3 years to pick up another.

Sorry for only 3 stars but I had to rate as I found both mine and my wifes car on collection. My car,an RX, had a new battery fitted as it died during 5 months of lock down. The AA had removed the engine covers to enable a jump start, i placed them in the boot as I knew that the Lexus engineer would have to gain engine access to jump start the car and then to fit the new battery in the boot, he would have seen the covers when fitting the battery. When I went in the boot some 6 hours later I found the covers still in the boot. My wifes car, an NX, was left with you for 3 days for it have a standard service. We collected the car and headed home. My wife rang me 5 minutes into the journey to ask if normally the interior would be dusted, yes was my reply. We arrived home and checked the interior which hadnt been dusted and only looked like a very light vacuuming and door sills filthy. We have just moved to the area from Northamptonshire where both mine and my wifes car have been looked after by Lexus Milton Keynes. I have never in 15 years with many Lexus cars rated Milton Keynes less than 10 out of 10 or 5 plus stars.

We have just bought a used Lexus NX Premier from Lexus, Exeter. The whole experience from first walking into the show room, test drives including one on our own, to purchasing it and driving it away, was exceptional. Henry Sherlock, our sales executive, went above and beyond enabling us to collect the car within 3 working days of deposit being paid. Henry was the embodiment of “omotenashi”: seamlessly anticipating our needs. Which is a time-honored Japanese concept. From start to finish was a real pleasure.As soon as we entered the showroom we was greeted by a lovely smile from the lady on reception and offered a coffee.The car we were interested in had only just been delivered around the back that morning.As it was heavily raining Henry brought the car inside into the viewing area of the showroom. They were really good to agree to fit a compressor I sourced for the air-conditioning and to manage to repair the headlight issue and avoid the cost of replacement.Staff are extremely polite and helpful. My only observation is that its all very clinical where the mechanics are kept well away from the customer - I think I would prefer to speak directly to them. Im sure this happens with all main dealers to be fair.

Awful. Went in to enquire about a car on contract. Asked about monthly payment deal, was instantly fobbed off then the sales man swapped to talking to the man I came in with about who knows what. I’m a woman. Thought this attitude was in the past. Unfortunately for the dealership the man I was with didn’t want a car, but I did. Won’t be getting it from here.

Went in for a transmission oil change on my 12 year old GS300. The staff and hospitality were great. I felt really bad because they cleaned and hoovered the car afterwards, it was a bit of a mess! Gear changes are much smoother now, well worth the visit! I felt like I was treated the same as someone with a 2 year old car. I will definitely return for future work.

I just recently had my car serviced at Lexus exeter and again the service was 1st class. I cannot fault any aspect of my experience, from my initial call to book in the service to collecting my car once the work had been completed, everything was excellent. I must also mention the staff who are always helpful and knowledgable, they definitely go the extra mile and make you feel like a highly valued customer. That is so important because firstly you have no hesitation using their services again and secondly youre more than happy to recommend them to anyone you know. My best friend, my brother and 2 good friends now all drive Lexus vehicles after my recommendation, not only for the driving experience but the after sales service ive received. Now my younger brother is also looking get a Lexus due to my experience. Thanks to Laura and all the team for the amazing service. If i could give more than 5 stars i would!

I am very disappointed with the service at this branch. Had my car in for a recall, the panels were not put in properly. Also had a light bulb changed, they forgot to put the screws back! I called to have it resolved and nobody has even bothered calling me back.
