Great place to shop motorcycle anything. great service fast shipping a lot of stock..
This is my number #1 go-to source for my ADV bike. The selection of gear from R&G and MRA is better than any other site Ive shopped. Saw another bike recently with a headlight I loved - I asked the guy where he got it - and hes like Have you heard of Twisted Throttle... I had to laugh. Great shop!
Buyer beware. Any parts that dont fit your bike (despite being specified for that year/make/model on the website) you will be paying the shipping on to return. Thats what happened to me.Update: after a great deal of wasted time on the phone, they have agreed to deviate from their standard policy of charging return shipping on everything regardless of the reason and cover the return shipping of the parts that were incorrectly marked to fit my bike. You can shop knowing that you wont have to pay for the return shipping; theyll just waste a whole bunch of your time.
Store was closed; online only.
Awesome.people to deal with! The hours on GOOGLE are for the SHOWROOM.. Phone support is available 8am-5pm daily (EST), they are open later certain days but this is just to clarify OPEN PHONE.SUPPORT HOURS.
Happen to stop there last minute on the way to Newport for the day. Have to say tat the place was everything I hoped for. Brendan was Great. He spent a couple hours with my wife and I selecting gear and explaining everything. And being it was off season the DEALS were Awesome on last years and left over gear. Definitely recommend a trip if you have been thinking about it 👍
Disappointed by lack of response to my return request. I bought a universal wind screen for my Zero DSR but when I held it up to the bike, its too big. I contacted them the next day requesting a return authorization number but they havent gotten back to me. Its been over a week. They also havent responded to my e-mails since then. Im fine paying the shipping back to them. But Id like to return the unused wind screen which should be allowed according to the policy on their website.
I visited Twisted Throttle yesterday to have some work done on my bike. It was easy getting an appointment scheduled from last Friday. Dave the service manager scheduled me in yesterday, Weds. Right on time, and very accommodating when I found a DENALI Super Loud horn I asked if they would install as well, they were very accommodating in fitting me in! The store experience couldnt of been more pleasant while I was waiting. The staff is very professional, highly motivated (these people love their jobs and are true motorcycle enthusiasts) and extremely customer service friendly. No pressure, well trained and excellent product knowledge and quality product selection! The cafe is a terrific offering, comfortable seating and surroundings, large screen TV if you care to watch (???), great selection of motorcycle periodicals to help pass the time when not perusing the store AND Wednesdays it turns out the staff has a cookout and was good enough to include me with a delicious Gorgonzola Burger! Their customer service, quality product selection, wonderful facility and more importantly First Class Service Department will have me coming back here again and again! Though 85 miles from my home (170 miles RT) Ill gladly make the ride! Great service, excellent value, superior experience, a new gold standard in the motorcycle world! WELL DONE!!!
Put in a web order for a pair of upper and lower crash bars for my bike. At the time the website stated that they had the parts in stock. 3 days later I get a tracking number showing only 1 of the 2 items I purchased. I emailed to find out what the problem was and after another 3 days I got an email stating that it is out of stock and wont be in stock for another month. Why wasnt the website accurate with whether or not it was in stock? Why wasnt there information regarding a delay at time of purchase? Why did it take more than 3 days for a response? When I called the Customer Service Rep was very callous and unapologetic, simply stating its out of stack and I am just gonna have to wait.Waste of time and poor communication.I am not confident with this group at all and very disappointed with how they handled this situation.
They actually have a really nice show room here, and can install everything they sell. Motorcycle inspections too. Its hard to find a company with better customer service. I think the one thing besides gear that every rider should have is additional lighting for visibility. TTs sister company Denali Electronics is the way to go for LED lighting. Calling customer service will get you help with anything motorcycle related, even if it isnt their products!! Free shipping over 50 bucks to the US and Canada!
The mechanic was generous with his time, opening to inspect my bike, even though the store was closed.Store is only open 3 days a week, conducting most business online.
Helpful and friendly service. Very little in stock. Had a little list of things I was hoping to pick up and half of which they did not have there. Very little selection of product.
The website showed three items I wanted as being in stock and even listed quantity. One item shipped and was delivered with no explanation on the other two items. After calling I was informed the items were back ordered and were expected in a couple weeks. The website still showed the items as being in stock. Very disappointing. My credit card was charged for the total amount when the order was placed. I ended cancelling my order and asking for my funds to be released. It feels like I was baited into placing the order. I certainly would NOT have paid money for a back ordered item!! Shame on you Twisted Throttle. My first and last order with your company.
I usually don’t write reviews but I felt that I had to in this case... I drove out to their factory store in RI.. great store, very clean and spacious..... the gentleman “Anthony “ was super helpful,, I really wasn’t sure about which luggage to buy for my new bike . I’m glad he steered me toward the DRYSPEC luggage. From what I can tell, they are quality, heavy duty, well built luggage, I went with the 38L tailbag and the 20L saddlebags... which I think will be perfect... not too big... not too small... The part of the sale that was the best for me was .... Anthony took the the time to help me,, actually he did all the work, to mount the luggage to my bike. And when we ran into a problem,, the gentleman that helped design the bags, came out with different, longer, straps to work with the pannier racks on my bike..... to me...... that was priceless, to have the company that makes the bag, help me with mounting it properly,,, if I had mounted it,, I would have been nervous all the way home 100+ miles,,,, that a strap or something came loose ..... nothing budged ..: they did a great job of mounting the luggage. I just wish this store was a little closer to me because I would give them my business for all my bike maintenance. Thanks again guys. Jason.
Had a terrific experience. Went in on a Friday morning and spent an hour looking around. Needed a simple RAM mount and was shown a much better way to mount my GPS than I planned. Ordered some engine case guards and talked about a lighting and crash guard set up. Matt could not have been nicer to work with. This is a special place that deserves to be supported!
These guys were awesome. I was traveling from Florida to Nova Scotia. Stopped at twisted to pick up some dry bags, and the they ended up letting me camp behind the store. Great experience will continue to be a customer.
Always a pleasure to deal with, professional and knowledgeable.Keith the Beard is a wealth of motorcycle knowledge.TT does right by their customers!
My first order, and probably last one, done more then 3 weeks ago. The part was on stock when I ordered it. Early last week I did contact the Twisted Throttle customer service dept and queried about my order. They informed me it was on its way and I should receive it by the end of the week. Not even an excuse for the delay (customer reps name is Tim, Gear scout). Today still nothing. I cant even seen the status of my order on their website. What a disappointment and poor service. I am going to cancel my order and claim my money back. Never again!!!
In store experience has declined. Go online for better selection.
Geared more towards a touring motorcyclist. They carry everything that everyone else doesnt. Very competitive prices with the internet. I bought tire valve caps that signal low pressure with an LED, a windscreen for a bike only 2 years in production, an Oxford Screamer alarm and a lock for my helmet. They have GPS and radar mounts, lots of carry bags, helmets, communication equipment, etc. Just when I think I will never be back, thinking I got all I could need, I run back there and spend.
We stopped in the store while visiting Rhode Island from Colorado. Best customer service ever! Dave Peloquin - you were amazing - above & beyond the norm. My new helmet and our Interphone system are great ~ and were taking the Cross Sound ferry Tuesday!! 🏍🤗Thank you all so much!
If your in to touring and trail riding definitely check this place out
Great place with lots of motorcycle accessories and very knowledgeable and polite staff.
Large, well laid out store with a very knowledgeable, very helpful staff. These guys know their stuff, and they have a great online marketplace as well!
Customer Service (email) - No responses. Customer Service (phone) - Music on hold - no one answers.
A major global distributor of adventure motorcycle clothing parts and accessories right here in RI! Knowledgeable and globally seasoned staff assist your purchasing experience in a clean and welcoming environment.
Awesome place well worth your time to stop and check it out!
10% off for military and a great selection of after market bike specific products.
An excellent store for aftermarket motorcycle accessories and clothing. Small cafe inside too.
Got a pair of SW-Motech Blaze bags for my FZ8 that came from them. They melted with a stock exhaust system installed 100% properly after 45 minutes, SW-Motech refuses to warranty them saying it was an aftermarket exhaust. Then they tried to offer a replacement bag of a different model that was a USED display model. Stay far away from these people and SW-Motech
The service and selection from these guys is fantastic ... you cant go wrong!(need more Google+ content)Cheers
Great people to deal with great products
They really know whats going on there. brendan in the showroom is a cool dude!
