I went to Walgreens because the store manager Paul called me letting me know my order was ready to pick up. So the next day I went in and waited for my things and Lauren said she was a store manager was to focus on putting things away. The guy was struggling and still didn’t find my banner that Paul said was ready. So the other store manager LAUREN walked over and said that they couldn’t find my order but she was to focus getting her stuff put away on the shelves ( that can totally wait). The customer service from Lauren was so poor. She didn’t even try to find my item but was to much of a rush to go back being by herself stocking like WHAT! Okay. I’ll be calling back asking for Paul. This is sad that Walgreens are treating people like this.

I know a few of the pharmacy people there and they looked way too stressed out. It breaks my heart seeing the way customers yell at them that theyve been in line forever and they need to answer their phones. Its a lose lose scenario when theres only 2 pharmacy people back there and theyre expected to do 10 things at one time. Its impossible to both answer the constantly ringing phones and help the people inside. Patience would be helpful, or maybe apply if you think you could do better. Nothing is stopping you from transferring to another pharmacy.

As many MANY others have said, you can’t NOT answer your phones! For days I’ve been calling to get a prescription refilled and I’m always the next person in the queue, yet somehow it takes hours! They answer then say “please hold”, then they don’t answer again except for when another person comes on to ALSO say “please hold”. Im on hold right now as we speak and I was again the next caller in line! They even tell you your place in line! Answer your phones! I’m completely and utterly shocked at the incompetence of this staff!

Cashier is like human manifestation of a broken vending machine. Charged $14 online and walked out empty handed. Told me I would need to be charged again if I wanted my items!

If you’re gonna get the Covid-19 vaccine I suggest you go somewhere else! Came in today on time, before 11:45 for my daughter appointment. We got here at 11:30 and it’s now 12:30 we’re still waiting! Same thing happen for her 1st vaccine it took almost 1 hour for the process! My husband and son went to Fred’s they’re fast and on time.

The worst Walgreens. Don’t go here no matter what. It be easier to fly out of Alaska then to get the sorry excuse for a staff to answer the phone. Currently writing this review on hold been waiting 3 hrs hung up on twice.

Dear all workers, If you see there’s a line of 3 people, and you’re not doing anything please help out your coworker and all of us waiting. You’d think that would be obvious but clearly management doesn’t know how to manage people.

Employees need some serious customer service training.

They are grossly understaffed. I have never gone in there and not stood in line. The pharmacy is the worst I mean forget it, if you have to drop off a script you’ll be there for atleast an hour. They always say 15-20 min or 30min but it always ends up being double that. Even if you just go to buy cold meds behind the counter if you have anything to do with the pharmacy add 30min onto your trip. Plus the pharmacy techs are pretty rude and they don’t care if you’re disappointed and they’ll let you know that they don’t care. The pharmacist themselves are ok though.

Missed over a week of my medication because someone forgot to submit it even after going over all of my information and charging me for the shipping.

The slowest walgreens ive ever been too. Way understaffed, and failed to notify me when my prescription was DISCONTINUED. They kept saying “we requested more”, so after a week of waiting i found out the medication is discontinued so i went without meds for a week before being switched over.

I was yelling help in the middle of the store bc I couldn’t find anyone and no one helped

Terrible customer service - the pharmacy and the store. They need more staff to keep up with in-store and phone customers, but don’t seem to have any desire to put more people on the floor or in the pharmacy. It’s driving business away. Worst Walgreens in the state for customer service. Sad.

Went in to get photos taken for a passport, had no idea what I was doing. The store manager got me squared away.

Its okay. What did you expect it to be? Its a chain pharmacy that sells overpriced groceries. It was never going to be good.

Don’t use the pharmacy. Was being helped by one staff when I was then passed off to a new girl in training... didn’t know how to do anything (not her fault.. she wasn’t ready to be working the computer). The other lady finally comes back and tells me they probably can’t put my secondary insurance in so I’ll have to contact them about any refunds (I have no problems with this anywhere else so... idk what the problem is here). I was then told they had both the prescriptions and it would just be a few minutes to validate my insurance... 20 minutes later they still haven’t called me back up but I received a message from Walgreens saying there was a problem with my insurance. I wait in a 10 minute line and finally make it back to the lady.. who says they can only fill half of one of the scripts and can’t fill the other... I ask for my script back and they said no because they were going to half-fill the script... Finally the next day (while I was in surgery) my dad was able to get my script back from them.Not a pleasant experience, only went here because Fred’s was out of what I needed, but never will I return.

I would really give this store 2.5 stars, but that wasnt an option, because they have only gotten half of my orders correct. When a company advertises a same day service they should provide that service the same day. I order photo books often from work for staff that are moving away as a present. The last 2 times I have ordered the books were not done when they were supposed to be done. Due to that I had no present for the girls at their going away parties. Its so disappointing. I will say that I was given a significant discount the first time it happened but when it happened again just 3 weeks later I was offered nothing and told by the clerk I dont know how to do the photo books and my manager is busy it will be ready by tomorrow. It was supposed to be done at 3:45 pm it was 4:30 pm. I then received a call a while later at 8:50 pm to say my order was ready for pick up but they close soon . I live in the next town over and was not driving all the way back to Fairbanks. The books themselves ended up being nice. The service, not so much. You really should not advertise a service if you dont provide it.

Staff and Pharmacists have been nothing but great. Even when there was an issue with my insurance not wanting to pay for my medication, they called my doctor and between them and my doctor they were able to find a medication my insurance covered.

Dont use the pharmacy, the male Pharmacist was very rude. He asked me the spelling of my name at least thats what I heard him asked. he starts yelling and screaming at me, telling me thats not what he asked me. After I paid for my meds, I reached out to get my meds he shoved the bag in my chest. It was clear to me he did not like people of color because the lady who was served in front of me was Caucasian and he was very pleasant and polite to her. I dont know why he treated me this way because I was not rude to him. I have been there several times and had always gotten great customer service. I went to the manager but nothing done so I told the manager to transfer my medicine to another pharmacy. I didnt know walgreens hired racist people. So if your Native American or People of color dont go there. Unless you want to pay for your meds then be assaulted by the Male Pharmacist. If you must use walgreens to the one by the Fred Meyer west.

Hard to rate a pharmacy when they put you on hold, then dont answer when hold goes off. This of course after listening to an interminable recording. Wont return.

Its nice finally having a walgreens up here. Its an easy in and out shopping trip for some essentials and the parking lot is never too full.

We have never had any problems with this store or staff. Always clean and always something good on sale.

Generally friendly staff but they like to close the doors early and they dont staff the registers when there are huge lines they leave customers standing

Told it would be 5 hrs to get two medications filled. After explaining the situation they said one hour. 90min later only one is ready so I gave up and went to another pharmacy.

I think they have a staffing problem, Ive never had so many issues with a pharmacy ever! Theyre nice but its always a long wait.....

Horrible experience... ordered photos/ invitations and everything went through they said they were ready and everything then I got there and they were closed and had been for the past couple days ... no where on the website did it say anything about not ordering through them .. when I called the only answer I got was “don’t know what to tell you” .... horrible customer service

Its says store close at 10:00 pm. But when i go there at around 9:50 the lady said they are closed already, told her i need to get a medicine for my son that is sick. But she just close the door. Happened last friday 01/31/2020

My experience with Walgreens Pharmacy my first time was yesterday. I dont like to complain and I dont like conflict so its hard for me to even write this. The doctor recommended Walgreens because it was cheaper, so I dropped off my boyfriends prescription for antibiotics for an infection that could have been life threatening if went in blood stream so I was eager to get these antibiotics on board. I went in at 1 pm to drop off and the tech says well I need your ID which was strange to me because I am just dropping off a prescription so I offered to go get my I.D. from my car when she says well are you filing insurance or self pay so I tell her its self pay and she tells me its fine then. I told her my boyfriend will be there at 5 to pick up prescription. He picks up our one year old toddler from day care after work and goes to Walgreens waits in line in drive thru with our toddler for 10-15 minutes so he finally walks inside with our son. He walks to the counter and tells them he is picking up prescription she replies with oh I didnt fill it because I didnt know if it was insurance or self pay which is just not true because we talked about it... and also if she really did not know then why didnt she call his cell phone? I had given her his cell phone for his profile. So he is waiting at Walgreens for a prescription that should have been done HOURS previous with a one year old that is very busy getting into things (like a normal toddler does). He waited 10 minutes until he finally leaves to go back to the drive thru. The SAME car is waiting there in drive thru so he finally just leaves. We had to drive back into town from North Pole and it was finally ready. So my experience with them was waiting five plus hours for a prescription and dealing with an extremely rude tech. Bad experience I will use Freds next time like we have done is the past.

Use coupons to great deals. New store in the neighborhood. Clean and stocked.

Back to being terrible. I go there many times a week an regularly wait over a half hour at the drive through. This past week I waited for over an hour in line only to get to the Window and see the lady on the phone! Update for September, worst yet. They aren’t even getting my prescriptions filled unless I go there and beg them. I need to be saved from this nightmare.

Had to fill a script while travelling so stopped by this location. the store is new and clean but it took 4 hours to fill a script. The staff was very friendly about that ordeal but overall slow pharmacy. Also, because I wasnt going to wait that long in the store, I kept calling for updates and I couldnt speak to a human 🤔

My experience with curbside pickup was horrible. I waited over 40 minutes after I arrived for a store clerk to bring my order. Even though I had entered that I had arrived in the app, and called the store multiple times and informed the clerk I was onsite waiting for my order. When I did get my order, I questioned my missing cases of water but the male clerk said, I didnt see it. And after further questions he said that I wont be charged for them. I noticed that I was charged, called and spoke with the mgr Paul who tells me that my water is at the store, but he never once apologized for the clerk mistake, delayed service, or even for the associates not calling me to followup on my paid cases of water that has been sitting at there store, with my name on them, for over 2wks. He made it sounds like I had inconvenienced him when I asked him to search for my product. Also, the picture frame I purchased was given to me broken. Theres no way someone couldve place it the paperbag without noticing its broken. I would gladly take my business somewhere else if there was a Rite Aid or CVS in the city, but theyre the only drug store.
