This visit was so great! There was a lady who went through and helped us with perfume selection, shared some she thought we would like based on a couple of questions, she had some great suggestions! Then another rep helped with locating different products we were looking for. Appreciate how helpful they were!

I had an appointment for highlights, and had to drive over a hundred miles to get there. I get a message while I am on the way there. (Mind you, I dont have service from Delta Junction to Fairbanks) The girl tells me that shes feeling under the weather and needs to reschedule for next week. I called and told them, that I am going out of state, and will not be able to make that appointment and that I needed it done now. They just offered a discount and didnt even attempt to squeeze me in. This is not how you do business. By the way, the girl was sick from a freaking blood draw, as the manager explained. This is not acceptable!

I love ulta, but I also hate getting asked if I need help every 30 seconds after saying no twice before. But, I cant really complain because they are there to help.

Not a review for the salon in general, just one of the stylists there. Krystal is not very dependable and keeps canceling appointments. The one time she did my hair she didnt listen to what I wanted at all. Waited a month for a hair appointment that I scheduled to have done for my birthday....she canceled last minute, tried to reschedule to only be told it would be another month. Sucks that she is the only stylist doing hair now that Joelle is manager..(she was the best)

There was a male employee in there who was incredibly knowledgeable about the products, very friendly, and his make up was on point. People who like what they do or are passionate about what they do are always amazing employees. He was amazing

So much to look at, the store was very clean. The employees were sweet, I took my daughter in next time we wont be pressed for time you really need to look around. Prices are a bit on the high side, hard to find the price of an item but we did. Ill take my girls back but not as often as I would like to. Hopefully signing up for their rewards program and coupon will help.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this place. Have been going there years to get my hair done.. Have a wedding coming up and scheduled an appointment about 4 months in advance because I know they book up fast. Literally a few days before my appointment, got a call that it was canceled. Not a week or two. A day or so.... Now I’m scrambling around trying to find somewhere that can fit me in before I need....Will never recommend this location as they are extremely unorganized.

Amazing customer service and amazing products for an amazing price

I went in and the staff were extremely kind and nice. An associate helped me to find what I needed when I was a tad lost and she was super sweet and great at recommending me some alternatives to what I was looking looking for. I will definitely come back in the future for any beauty or care products I need.

If a store mandates mask they should provide them for patrons to wear. The manager who spoke with me about wearing a mask was rude and condescending after I had forgetting one at home. When letting me know about pick up options she spoke to me as if I was too dumb to understand the current social climate we live in. I highly suggest going to a different store to do any kind of beauty shopping. If this is how the treat patrons over a simple mistake, I can’t imagine how they treat customers with questions or concerns about products and different items. Ulta will not be receiving business from me again. I will also be letting friends and family, here in Fairbanks, know about my experience and encourage them to shop elsewhere.

This is only for the Manager Stephanie, a horrible representative for Ulta. The way she speaks and her tone when speaking to customers is appalling. She has ZERO Customer Service/Managerial skills. Its shameful behavior, I cant even imagine how she treats her employees. Coming from one Customer Service Manger to another, you should not work upfront interacting with the public.You give up your right to have a bad day when on the clock at your place of employment!!

First time visiting the store, and I was a little lost, probably looked like I didnt belong there. I asked an employee if they had any hair lightener or bleach kits and she told me they didnt have anything like that there. Which I thought was weird but it wouldnt have been worthy of writing a review over if the employee wasnt so rude during the entire interaction. She was acting like I was asking for something absurd, and had no clue what I was talking about.I went home and looked up the product I wanted on the Ulta website, and sure enough there were a ton of different brands in stock at the store. I returned a couple hours later with a female friend and the employee who helped us this time was really nice and directed us exactly to what I was looking for. I feel bad writing a poor review because the second expierence was fine. But I shouldnt have to bring a girl with me to get reasonable customer service...

My wife was just turned away. The sign on the door says face masks are ‘Recommended’ not required. She was finished shopping and headed to the front when she was asked to leave because she had no mask. Other women were in the store without masks as well. We will no longer be shopping at this store or any other ulta store in the future.

This is a great makeup store youll find a little bit of everything. I saw things I wanted that I forgot about. Also its clean, smells good in there; very sheek.

I have been getting regular facials with Katie for nearly two years now. My skin is in great condition as a result! Katie is very knowledgeable about skincare and treatments, provides amazing neck massages, and assists me with finding new products when I need them. She listens well to my needs and never tries to up-sell me anything I dont need.

Have pretty much everything busy time of year. couple days before Christmas good thing my daughter kept me entertained. Friendly staff

If you work with hair and makeup. This is the equivalent of home depot for cosmetics supplies. They have just about everything including a full service salon to just get you hair done and feel beautiful. They also have tons of sales and a lot of stuff you can get at walmart. I would recommend it for sure. Make sure you get one of the cards too its free and gives you sweet discounts.

Amazing experience for my family. My girls are my life and they had the best time with my wife all of them getting haircuts. The girls in the salon are fantastic and bend over backwards for the customers they are serving. Amber is my wife’s stylist and just took great care of us.

Great products but horrible return policy. I drove back half hour later with the receipt and I had to make an account in order to do a return. All I wanted to do is swap colors for the same product/price.

I had the pleasure of having my hair done by a lovely lady by the name of Ellyn. She was a total sweetheart and cared about what it was I wanted done. She was very personable and knew what she was doing. I will absolutely be going back to her. She is now my permanent hair stylist!

I had a wonderfully, relaxing facial with Katie this week. My skin is not as young as it used to be! Katie was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my question about my changing skin and got me on a good regime of products. My face feels and looks great! I will be a routine customer. Thanks Katie!

My main complaint about this Ulta is that they never restock the sample sponges and brushes so it’s hard to try new products. So I end up buying things that aren’t my color. I know they have a generous return policy but I don’t always have the time to return things within 30 days or I just forget about it and waste my money. But the selection is very good and they have a lot of packages where you get a free gift if you spend a certain amount. The employees are nice. I just wish they restocked the sponges, qtips and wands for the testers

Brilliant salon team and more importantly they come about getting it right. I would not go anywhere else. Joelle and Gyovanna are impeccable artists when it’s comes to performing there artistry. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend trying Ulta Fairbanks.

We had an awesome experience! The women (I forgot her name) was helpful with out being pushy. Im not a big make up fan but she made the experience of helping me get my teens new make up tolerable, almost fun

The gals were extremely friendly and helpful to myself, my mom, and my sister who all individually needed help with different things. They were outspoken and were glad to hood a conversation and helped us find the exact products that would work best for us. Price on alot of items arent bad but we careful cause it adds up fast. 😂

Its always clean, well lit and has lots of product. But the last three times I have gone, whether its busy or not I have not gotten any help. No one greeted me, and after spending a half hour opening stuff trying stuff out, I still was not approached by an employee. I would really appreciate getting helped next time or even just greeted.

Would be 5 stars if check out times werent so crazy long so often! Other than that, this is a great place to shop for any kind of beauty supplies. I dont wear makeup, but love going here to look at all the pretty new makeup stuff when I buy my face wash and moisturizer. The staff is always helpful and ready to help, but if you are just looking around and say so they dont follow or badger you which is a great change from other places in town! Tons of makeup from top end to drug store, lots of hair products and tools, bath goodies, lotions, hair dye, a salon, perfume, and specialty skin care stuff.

I am there fairly often, and I will say this I have made some AMAZING life long friends there! Everyone I’ve met and come in contact with there are knowledgeable and just so down to earth!!

This store is far better at making its customers happy than is the online customer service. If you have any issues, ask for Mary. She runs the store and can get things done that others may not feel they have the juice to handle. She will even repair the damage the corporate customer service has caused and make things right. Its a fun place to shop and a decent place to get a hair appointment if your regular stylist cant fit you in or you dont yet have one.

The only issue I had with my visit and previous visits that’s negative. I call around 11:30am asking about a brow appt. the first opening of was at 1pm but I needed to be somewhere and that was a little late. The girl on the phone said I was more than welcome to come in and do a walk in no problem. I go in around 12-12:15 and the gal at the brow bar is currently with a client so I walk around a little until she is done. I wait until the other client leaves so I’m not being rude and then ask the girl if she had time to do my brows. She says she has an appt at that time but can do mine in about 20 min and she would find me. I walk around looking at stuff and grab a purchase. I look over to see if she is done and she is GONE! It’s been FOURTY minutes and she is nowhere to be found. I waited a little longer to see if maybe she was looking for me and we just couldn’t find one another but no, she was not anywhere to be found. I took my purchase and left. I was a little irritated that when I made my appt for a brow wax with someone else and told the girl and the front I wasn’t pleased with the girl today she didn’t ask what had happened at all. The only reason I will return is because it will be with a different girl and I honestly do love ulta. The do great when I get my brows done and hair appts but today has put a really bad taste in my mouth with the brow bar.

Excellent staff and a large variety of premium products. If you are a gentleman or shopping for one, their selection is very limited. I do wish they would dedicate a little more floor space for Mens product lines.

Sales manager and employees where not helpful at all. I had to keep asking for help at 10:00am in the morning no one was there. Made me feel like a nobody.... Needs attention if you want my business...

I was absolutley amazed. I went in just to look and ended up spending over my budget. Even without an appointment I was able to get my eyebrows waxed, they looked amazing. This location had good sales and prices I bought presents, makeup, and booked another visit. My mau was so nice and welcoming I felt right at home even though I was just a visitor. This is an amazing location.

I dont shop here, I wait in the truck lol. But my wife absolutely loves them.

The company does not appreciate the military. If you are military you probably should not shop there because they dont offer military discount. They gave me some lame excuse that made no sense, such as we give you a great place to shop. Unfortunately, I did not know until it was too late that I could have purchased the same item in the PX for for $75, instead of buying at the Ulta location in Fairbanks, AK., and paying $94.

Ive had some very deffering experiences here. Mostly all good, except for the hair salon surprise prices. That being said, they do have some very talented and friendly staff.

As always, staff at Fairbanks Ulta is available to help find everything I need. And the Clinique rep on hand helped me find what I needed and rounded up an eyeliner sample for me as the full size retail version was sold out, to tide me over til they come back in stock.

When I go to the salon I only ever have Kenny work on my hair, I love his personality and Ive never walked out with a hair cut that I wasnt happy with. He fixed what my previous hairstylist messed up and now my hair has started to actually grow out longer like it should. Kenny will actually take the time to make sure that what you want is what you will get.

They dont know how to do glamorous makeup. They also lied about knowing how to attach wigs.

Has a large assortment of beauty products, with multiple brands. Very helpful and outgoing staff. I recommend visiting this place for your beauty needs. It also has a salon.

Decent selection & nice employees. However, not nearly enough of them. On a recent weekday during the noon lunch hour, no one was around to unlock the perfume display, there were a couple of employees in the salon area, only 1 at a register & 7 people in line.

Excellent customer service. Thats a big deal to me. I will be back.

I am a very frequent shopper of this specific Ulta. The women in here and the Stephen are all amazing. I have been going to Mia to do my eyebrows for over a year and she is amazing. I recently started getting facials in the dermalogica bar as well and I have to say that Katie is amazing. I felt so relaxed the whole time during my appointment and she did some major work on my face. I would reccommend her and Mia to anyone who is needing any kind of beauty services!!
