Took the second half of an open water cert class. They were very helpful picking a mask and snorkel. The equipment is expensive as any small shop is so buy the biggest items online after trying them out.The class was great. The instructors mark and Stephanie were both very helpful very patient and not yelly even when one of the students could get the skill.I liked the store And I liked the dive.

Ive enjoyed doing business with The Dive Shop for over a year. About a year and a half ago, I bought a special order BCD and a regulator, and The Dive Shop staff were very helpful with the purchase, especially navigating different options for regulators. Since then, Ive taken Emergency First Responder, Emergency Oxygen Provider, and Rescue Diver at The Dive Shop. All of the instructors I have worked with to date (Burt - EFR/O2, Stephanie & Mark - Rescue Diver) are very professional and made the classes fun.

From my experience, the store manager is a know it all. He is verbally abusive and degrading. He also teaches on trips, so ladies be sure not to bend over in front of him and do not give any personal information. Unless you want more than scuba lessons......
