We had our roof replaced in May 2021. Our application was approved on a Thursday with the HOA and by Monday, Nate had a crew at our house. Nate Dave was amazing to deal with. He responded at all hours of the day, was very professional, and dealt with our insurance company directly so we didn’t have to! We moved into a house that had a basement door that was, lets say, slapped in place. It was a custom cut WOODEN exterior door with daylight showing all around. It caused some serious inefficiencies in the summer and winter and also allowed all kinds of bugs to come in. The concrete door frame was a smaller than normal size and could not be changed without some serious construction. NuHome came in, took some measurements, and ordered a top of the line exterior door. I was still slightly skeptical that our problem could be made to look nice or functional.The crew showed up on installation day on time and with the highest professionalism. Ill make a long story short. The door is PERFECT, looks expertly done, and we have ZERO draft or bug issues now. This door was custom ordered to fit the space, but it looks like it belongs there. The crew went a step further to cover the exterior wood pieces with aluminum flashing (sleek looking) and caulking all around the edges. It looks GREAT and exceeded all my expectations. Well worth the investment. There is no team around better than the crew at NuHome. My HIGHEST recommendation - I would not hesitate to call them again if I ever needed door service! Proof is in the pictures!

The door is a beautiful, solid door, unlike the builder-quality one we replaced. We got a much better deal than another company that gave us a quote for the same style door. I would use them again if we need to replace another exterior door.

We had the initial meeting for roofing with Kelly Pierce and they at first refused to meet with only my husband so we had to reschedule. Then when they did come back it was a very hard sell, so we said we were going to wait until we got other estimates. After that, they waiting in our driveway for 10 minutes before leaving. We tried to follow up to get their initial offer in writing, but they never emailed us back. We ended up going another company that was $400 cheaper than their same day offer. Would not recommend them, Kelly was super pushy and unresponsive.

Bottom line up front, I was very impressed with NuHome Exteriors from start to finish!!NuHome offered us an estimate for our roof that was good for a year so we decided to take them up on it.  Our installation consultant was Kelly Pierce and I’m here to tell you he is just a complete pleasure to work with.  There was no pressure to buy and he really gave us an honest assessment of what our requirements would be for replacing our roof.  Given that and the price we were quoted it made our decision to go ahead and contract the work an easy one.We were also impressed with how quickly after the contract signing they came out and did the demo/install.  We signed the contract on 30 October and had the work completed on 19 November.Finally, I want to talk about the crew.  They did a tremendous job completing our roof replacement. They even went above and beyond and fixed a piece of siding that had come loose on the side of our townhouse.  Also, they took great care to ensure the perimeter of our home was protected from debris and ensured cleanup was thorough and complete.I definitely recommend NuHome to anyone looking to install a new roof on their home.

The NuHome team is outstanding! Our fantastic experience began with Mike coming to our home to explain the entire process and show us a working model of the windows we would get. Once the order was placed, the windows were measured by Sean so they were exactly right for our home. The windows arrived and we setup up the installation. The team, led by Sean, was great! They replaced all of the windows in a single day even though we were scheduled for one and a half days to get the installation done. They were very talented and repaired any damaged wood and ensured the new windows were fully insulated and waterproof. One of the new windowindows did show up cracked but by the time in was installed a replacement was on order. The guys were very careful doing their work and cleaned up the area before they left. A great experience overall and we highly recommend NuHome.

We learned about NuHome at a local home show; the rep impressed us as a person of integrity who really believes in the company; we interviewed several companies there and met with a couple for estimates. They weren’t the cheapest, but we had more confidence in them than in the lower bidders. Our first job with them was insulation and sliding glass doors, plus some siding repair. The repairs were a small job that required a completely separate crew, but they agreed to do it because of the rest of the work they were doing for us. They probably lost $ on that job since it wasn’t done the way we agreed so they had to do it twice. Excellent customer service, tho, and when the work was done we were very happy with the quality— so much that we have since bought new windows and a front door from them. Highly professional, organized, fast, and good cleanup. If we need further services, we will definitely call NuHome!

We are repeat customers as we are replacing the remaining windows in our house this month.The original estimate we received was higher than we expected, but they agreed to match any apples to apples quote from a competitor and they kept their word.

A complete professional. Had a mask on when he came to the door. He took his shoes off so he wouldn’t track mud and snow into our home. He placed a floor matt down to protect our tub from any debris. He cleaned up everything. He not only fixed the lower half of the window, he lubricated the upper half, replaced the latch and the locking mechanism.When trying to hire a contractor to do costly jobs like your roof and windows, can be scary not knowing what kind of work will be done, or what kind of support you will receive when needed. Mike came out to give me an estimate to replace my siding, but noticed that the siding was fine and my problems were probably caused by poor gutter installation by the builder. He saved me thousands of dollars because of his honesty and professionalism.The crew arrived the next morning after the estimate to install the gutters. They were very polite, new exactly what they were doing, worked through the job efficiently, and had the place all cleaned up before the afternoon.Now, after a few weeks and several heavy storms, it is clear that Mikes advice and the new gutters have completely solved the problem I had. First off--Nate is the best. He is friendly, he is professional, most importantly he is diligent. I had zero intentions of replacing my roof this year, I didnt even know anything was wrong. NuHome was in the neighborhood, and offered free consultations and inspection--its the middle of the pandemic, so sure why not. I have nothing else to do. NuHome worked with my insurance and did everything needed to ensure they would pay for 90% of the cost and I just had to pay a deductible. Rain kept our roof from being done for a few weeks but the day of the roofing, NuHome was on time and on-top of things. They swept our yard with a fine tooth comb to get all the trash materials picked-up. Nate showed up later that day to ensure we were happy and everything was good. We really appreciate the work NuHome did on our siding, roofing and gutters. It truly looks like a totally new home. Like all big jobs like this, there are little issues along the way, but they did a nice job addressing our concerns.The only disappointment we have is that a siding nail came through and chipped a piece of tile in one of our bathrooms. It was inset in the wall so there wasnt as much clearance behind the inset. And we cant get any more of that tile to replace it.I would still choose to work with them again if given the choice.

We had a great experience purchasing new doors for our home through NuHome Exteriors. Mike MacCormack was very responsive and helpful talking us through the various styles and options, and the installers got the doors in place quickly and professionally, and final product was a vast improvement over the old existing doors we inherited after moving in. Would definitely recommend NuHome to friends/family, and we are currently go back through them for new gutters.

Their actual work might be fine, but their cold sales practices are questionable. They pounded (not just knocked) on doors AND rang the doorbells in my neighborhood. We are a no soliciting neighborhood. They woke people up by being so persistent. Or if people looked via their ring at the unwanted person at the door, they continued to pound. One neighbors elderly father opened the door as he unwittingly was concerned at the pounding on the door. They were verbally rude calling woman who complain karen and even called some b**ch.

Great Service, Great Results! NuHome salesman Ricardo was great to deal with and the crew who vinyl-wrapped our soffit and trim and replaced windows did great work. The work took place just a few weeks after signing the contract with Ricardo. The house looks great and we wont have to repaint our exterior wood anymore because its all vinyl covered.

I recently had NuHome install 11 windows in my home. I interviewed multiple companies but they are the one that earned my business. The salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. I had used NuHome to install windows throughout my townhouse several years ago. They did an excellent job.I was in need of a new roof, and again used NuHome for installation. They used top of the line shingles, which included a leak barrier and cap for attic ventilation.The workmen, in both cases, were very polite. The one in charge answered my questions and used wording that I understood.When they completed their work, they cleaned-up. WOW!!! The checked under my bushes, for dropped shingles and nails...and than checked the yards of both my neighbors to pick up any debris that may have been blown there.I dont give excellent reviews very often, but NuHome deserved it.I am impressed with the entire job; from start to finish.

When we were looking for a company to replace our flat roof, we only wanted a company that had the credentials and experience for flat roofing systems. Any Joe schmoe can do shingles, but it takes training to do a flat roof correctly. With that said, NuHome has the credentials and came in literally thousands less than their competition. Their salesperson was great, everybody was very responsive, and the workmanship looks good. Weve had significant rain in the last couple weeks and no leaks, so they did something right. All in all, a 5 star company!

Hello: - I just got my New Roof on November 22, 2014, and I love it! The workmanship is pretty impressive and the workman were courteous and professional. I would totally use Nu-Home again and recommend you try them. I asked numerous questions and they were always answered and I was encouraged to ask more as they came to me. The KCs are the best! I recently had all of the windows in my house replaced by NuHome. They did a great job and had all the windows installed quickly. After a few days I noticed some air pockets in the caulking on the inside and called them to have someone come out. Within a week they sent a tech out to re-caulk and inspect all of the windows inside and out to make sure there were no caulking gaps that I couldnt see. Great install and follow up!

I previously had a new roof put on by Nu-Home. This time I had my basement windows replaced. The downstairs, where we spend most of our time is now much more comfortable. The workers were scheduled for 9 a.m., but arrived a bit earlier. They did an excellent job of replacing the windows. Everything was cleaned up and all trash removed, An excellent job well done!

We had all of our windows replaced in single family home. NuHome was a great company to work with. Any issues we had were promptly followed-up and resolved. The installers were prompt, extremely knowledgeable and professional, and performed a great job.

After a harsh weather year, part of the siding blew off my home, I determined it was time for a roof and siding replacement. My boyfriend, who had his roof and siding replaced earlier in the year for similar reasons, referred me to Nu Home after he had his roof and siding replaced by them and was very satisfied. My boyfriend was very thorough in his research of contractors before hiring Nu Home. His research paid off for both of us. Mike, my project consultant was very helpful and informative about the products and recommendations on the work to be done. The entire Nu Home staff is polite and very responsive. My roof (a rush order) was replaced in 1 day and my siding was completed in 2 ½ days. The entire project not only gave my house a facelift and the protection it needed but also reduced my home owner’s insurance payment.

New Home Exteriors did a great job on my roof. The quality of the work has been great so far. We are going to have them back to do the window next year.

NuHome installed new attic insulation for us, upgrading what we had. Their team arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional, put down protective sheeting, completed the work in less time than expected, and cleaned up beautifully. Were very pleased with the result.

I received a quote to replace the roof on my house. A person from NuHome came to my house and had every chance to measure. They wrote a quote on a contract. When I signed and returned the contract, I didnt hear anything even though they knew it was coming. A week later when I called back, they said the price was too low and could only do the job for $1300 more than the original quote. Now I am back to square one and would not recommend this company.

Absolutely fantastic service, from pricing to installation the team was truly professional. On install, could not have asked for a better crew, very clean, professional and did it right the first time, very impressed with the work completed, would recommend to anyone having windows installed!

I felt attacked by a NuHome employee.I was vending at the June 2017 Occoquan Craft Show in Virginia when, after speaking with a NuHome employee that was passing by, (I jokingly said, Uh oh, here comes trouble! Call security! While smiling and laughing along)The NuHome employee became aggressive and hostile toward me, entering my work space and raising his voice telling me, Id better not joke like that with him again he was angry enough to become red in the face. It made me uncomfortable, and I felt that I was not safe as he was intimidating me with his physical proximity. I played it off as a joke of some kind and he walked away after a few more seconds, but this encounter did not sit well with me.Im sure he was hot and tired, as we all were from being in the sun and heat all day, but that is no excuse for becoming hostile and aggressive in a professional environment and in someone elses work space.After the event, I went to collect his company info and I complained to his co-worker and explained that I would be calling his office to follow up.The next day, before I was able to file a complaint to NuHome about this incident, my boss called me and said that a complaint was filed against me. The NuHome employee claimed that I threatened him in some way.I will be following up with the promoters of the event where this incident occurred, with NuHome customer service, and if anything like this happens in the future, I will be filing a police report and pursuing legal action against this employee and this company.

They installed my roof 7 years ago. I needed some shingles replace. The roof was fixed in a week great service.

Also installed attic insulation.

I was very disappointed with this company. They gave me a quote for windows and a door, we signed a contract, and I gave them a down payment. However, after a couple of weeks they called to say that they would need an additional $2,500 and returned my down payment. This doesnt seem like a good way to do business.
