So we had a 20 year old unit replaced that, with the exception of an intermittent refrigerant leak, was working fine and held our home at a comfortable levels of temperature and humidity year round without issue. Since installing this unit we get multiple high humidity alarms of > 70% (house is sealed well and we do not keep windows and doors open allowing migration of outside air), towels and shower mats do not dry, mold is growing on HVAC diffusers (NEVER happened before), doors are swelling, and the cold dampness is unacceptable. It was set up on the lowest speed per the manual about 6 weeks ago, however we learned today that there is a lower fan speed option. The installer came out today, reworked a cable harness and we are now running on an even lower speed. So far the unit has been running for 3 hours and there is little improvement. So, a few questions:1. How does this field modification to a factory harness impact the UL listing of the unit?2. What is wrong with the original coil design? How can it not be dehumidifying sufficiently on even the lowest standard factory setting? Seems like a design issue to this engineer.3. Is there a replacement coil that can be field retrofitted into the unit that actually works?4. What premium are we now paying on our super energy efficient unit by forcing the heat pump and fan to run longer due to the lower fan speed? This unit was sold to us as an upgrade to a slightly lower SEER heat pump and a more efficient fan. Seems like a scam to be getting a rebate from the utility company when the unit is not optimized for efficiency.5 Is it possible for the homeowner to see the real time running and performance data? What sensors are in the unit?6. What is the resolution if the new fan speed does not support proper dehumidification?7. For the record, in Brookfield, CT it is currently 71 deg. F with 64% RH outside. In my home, it is 71 deg. F with 73% RH. Clearly well above ASHRAE and building code requirements and standards.8. How can this be fixed?9. How do I file a warranty claim?

I like the technology but they subcontract their customer service and warranty claims to NEMAS International and very unresponsive and lack of follow through.

I purchased a new home in the fall of 2019. The HVAC company installed one of the new energy efficient variable ECOER units. Within a month they had to come back and replace a faulty fan. Now roughly a year and a half of having the system my AC doesnt work. (Of course when temps finally got really hot) When the unit works it is very good but at this point the system is unreliable. I made contact with my HVAC installers and they came out on a Sunday to assess the issue. They then had to come back again when they could get ECOER tech support. They were told it was a bad sensor. We had to wait several days for an inverter board to be sent because that was supposedly the problem. Once it came in the HVAC company came back and installed. They got up with ECOER tech support and then were told the compressor is also bad. Insert the Memorial Day Holiday and I am now still without AC for 9 days and waiting on a part to come in tomorrow. So that is the poor product review. Now to the customer service portion. My wife called on Friday and spoke with Daniel and she asked for his supervisor. She was then put on hold for 20min while he tried to contact his supervisor only to be told he was in a meeting and would have to call us back. She called again prior to their closing time and was on hold for 15min then received an automated message that it was outside business hours and the line was disconnected. I then called today and spoke with a gentleman about my unit and asked to speak to a manager. I was connected with Ansy and spoke to him about wanting another unit as this one has been repaired many times. He said they dont replace units unless they have a catastrophic failure. Basically my unit would have to have every element fail prior to getting another unit installed. All of this and ECOER also doesnt foot the bill for the labor. I have two children under the age of 3 and had family members come from 100s of miles away for the week to see our new child and we had no AC while inside temps were in the low 80s. My wife and I are beyond disappointed that we are stuck with a lemon unit and still havent had anything resolved. I would stay away from this company and go somewhere else for your next HVAC unit purchase.

Very satisfied with Ecoer team. We are a Mechanical Contracting Company and have already installed several Ecoer units. From the technical point of view Ecoer smart inverter systems are excellent. Their technology, performance, cost, easy of installation, and overall quality find a balance that places Ecoer, in our professional opinion, among the best inverter systems on the market. Their optional 10 years warranty on equipment, parts and labor is an important plus. In our experience, their Customer Service has also met our expectations. As a Company oriented to customer satisfaction, always in pursue of providing our customer with the best, most innovative and energy efficient products in the market, Con-Mech, Inc is proud of being a Certified Ecoer Installer and Maintenance Professional.

While so far we have not had any issues we have not had the opportunity to experience the automation of it. Also in shopping around after the installation we found that the amount we paid was a very high considering that other models are rated higher and cost less. We will continue to monitor it and will provide additional follow up. It is now due for maintenance. The filters we change monthly. Also have not seen any decrease in our electricity bill and we have been told that the county needed to come out and inspect the installation and we were not advised of that prior to the installation.

I purchased an ECOER Heat Pump System and it was the worst purchase I have ever made. The unit does not control humidity and is not energy efficent. The equipment was installed on 28 June 2020 and for 90 days I have continued to experience humidty levels of 65% and over. The last week it has been 73%. In addition, I have to keep the house so cold to off set the humidity that my electric bill is higher. The windows are geting moisture on the inside and I am sure this is not healthy. Do NOT purchase any of this equipment. The only response to the problem is the technician keeps turning the fan down. The last visit they turned the fan lower and moved some wires. No difference. Very disappointed. Dont believe the web page or the mission statement from this company.

So far everything it is working the way is suppose to. I have notice the savings of a few klws of electricity and Its very quiet. The only thing that I like to see is more technicians that can deal with this equipment. Other than that we are very please whit our system and will recommend it to any one who need a new one.

My bills are twice as high as last year. We have spent a month trying to tweak things...but no such luck. Overall very disappointed and would not recommend purchasing this unit. If I had the money, I would get rid of this unit and go back to a more respectable and reliable brand.

We installed our new unit in June 2019. Thus far we have had nothing but a positive experience, from the contractor who installed it to the unit, to the wireless thermostat.. Totally in love with it!!

I have retrofitted two R-22 heat pump systems in my own home about a year ago now with the High efficiency Ecoer condensing units. I flushed out my evaporator and line sets, installed r-410A tx valves, replaced the filter driers, evacuated and charged up the systems according to mfg instructions.I an so happy with these units. I used them all last winter . My home was warm, the electric bill was low and I am totally satisfied. I thought I would try them out before I start selling them. I cannot say enough praise! There is even an app that will let you monitor all of the operating conditions, it even alerts you of problems. I am a licensed refrigeration technician with 22 years in the HVAC/R industry and I highly recommend the Ecoer
